1 Maybe Iran needs to find something else to try -n- brag about?

For the record. There have been over 10,000 MQ-9 Reaper missions flown against Iran.

Of that number, the US reports only 45 MQ-9 Reapers failed return. The failures to return, reasons vary, and are NOT all Iranian caused.

🤣

2 USAF is moving to replace MQ-9 with more capable, less expensive platform.

I think we have about 130 fit for duty MQ-9s. Would be nice to have more. However, if the IRGC shoots down two a month, we still have plenty for this engagement. Also many of the missions currently carried out by that model can be carried out by other UAVs but not all.

Deployment of MQ-9 successor scheduled for 2030 or so.
