Interesting theory. Could explain it.

Doesn’t explain why Trump would now be objecting to the suspects being bailed, unless that’s optics. His initial remarks, “we got them,” cited to support the theory, also undermine it. Whoever had them under surveillance are not the ones that got them.

Anyway, we the public don’t know a lot more than we do know about this thing.
