6 I have not worked under ITAR so I don’t know much about it. I did work under one company that was restricted by IATF.

“ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations): Does not explicitly list a background check in its text, but it requires companies to strictly control access to defense technical data. Because ITAR restricts access to "U.S. Persons" (unless licensed), contractors must verify citizenship and screen employees to prevent "deemed exports" “

7 H-1B can be used and are used on defense projects that don't require classified materials or knowledge. Cleaners, cooks, etc. We have seen some doing welds on Virginia class subs and those said welds being deliberately sabotaged by those people so my vote is keep them to the service jobs.

8 If I was to important foreigners to work in American shipyards, I would want a high percentage of Filipinos. That does not fit what the scam pipelines would want to give me.
