1 ...A dear friend - lost him early on in the 'vid - many years ago helped to take down in court a particularly obnoxious Holocaust denier, something he was always quietly proud of.

He told me once that had every adult Jew who was arrested and sent to the camps been prepared to take one Nazi with them, things would have been very, very different.

When a Jewish friend asks me what they should do, that's what I tell them - followed by get a weapon, learn to use it, and carry it, even someplace like NYC. If that monstrosity on the subway had known that there was a better than even chance she wasn't going to survive that nonsense, she wouldn't have done it.

The Democrats have abandoned the Jews; they're no longer useful to them. They never supported them, even to rescue them from the Holocaust - they were shamed into action, and no more of that than necessary. (See Voyage of the Damned and the arguments over bombing the rail lines to the camps)

I have a bad feeling that this will get far, far worse before it gets better.

3 I agree with Mike, I just wonder how soon and how much worse.

In a better world one or more of the passengers would have intervened and subdued the attacker. But the world we live in now, doing so in a major urban area will likely result in the person(s) who intervene being charged with a crime or at the very least being sued in a civil case.
Potentially going to jail or losing almost everything is a strong demotivator.
