7 Off topic.

I just voted in the California primary election. As you know, in California we all get ~~mail-in~~cheat-by-mail ballots. That means the state mails the ballots to our homes regardless of whether or not we are citizens who have legally registered to vote in our districts or even if we're still alive. But, oh well, that's another story. Inside the envelope is the ballot and a return envelope that we can use to either mail the ballot to the Registrar of Voters or drop into a designated drop box. So I fill out my ballot and I'm putting it into the return envelope and I notice when I'm about to lick the glue to seal the return envelope that it says not to forget to sign and date the envelope. So I sign and date it. Then I start thinking (now Abu, you're not supposed to think), "How is this a secret ballot if my signature is on the envelope?"

8 Sorry about going off topic but I was just sitting here at my desk, filling out my ballot and it bothered me so I'm taking it out on Rantburg.

But, yes, Doris Day is an American icon, she was a beautiful lady and I enjoy her movies whenever TCM runs them.
