1 Working to near muscle failure and then trying to put metal on target is very hard and does simulate the adrenalin spike people get in a live shooting.

You become an expert in the training, the live situation will allow you to fire much more accurately.

2 Used to run a summer biathlon at Steamboat Springs in the mountains west of Denver.
Hard to do the timed sprints between range stations at 9000ft.
Controlled breathing in position rarely helped with the hand tremors from the altitude.
