4 As far as I can tell, the entire Muslim Middle East was researching weaponizing biologicals and chemicals. One assumes they remain frustrated, mostly because nobody has done a mass attack with the stuff, though there was that situation probably with chlorine gas in Syria during the Arab Spring years, if I recall, where it eas unclear whether it was an Assad government action or a false flag thingy by one of the rebel groups trying to get the Assad government blamed. Iran, Saddam Hussein’s Iraq (remember Salman Pak?), Syria, Al Qaeda, presumably its descendant ISIS, and very likely Al Nusra/Hayat Tahrir al Sham were all doing research, and it would be a shock if Pakistan is not also working on the stuff..

One of Osama bin Laden’s sons spoke about how they took his beloved puppy for one of their experiments when the bin Ladens were in Tora Bora before 9/11.
