1 There is a ballet position called the arabesque which a part of my stretching routine . Also the blackfella- standing- on -one -leg position which is a good way to pass the time while hitchhiking and will probably get you a ride with any passing Aboriginal family.
So yeah- stand on one leg, travel twice the distance.

3 I do a sport called wing foiling which is a water and wind sport. I learned when I was 60. Now at 65 I’m riding the head high wakes of container ships coming into San Francisco Bay. It’s very good for balance and since you ride above the water, it’s also very Zen, with a sensation like flying.
