4 ^ Change in color, changes in brightness and a bit of non-gravitational acceleration. The first two are fascinating, the latter even more so. Given that the object is effin' huge, weighing as much as a googleplex of elephants, it takes a strong force to change its motion. Certainly more than one would expect from frozen gases sublimating from solar radiation.

This, of course, has nothing to do with the "comet". The fact that a similar sighting occurred at 11:13 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 29 is just coincidence.
