Too many usually last a few years, finding the climate, Mid-America normalcy & political climate unsuitable. So they pack up and move to Western NC, Eastern TN, or the southern parts of WVA. Earning them the local nickname of "Half Backs".
Where they start trying to build a mini-NY.

8 A big reason why so many California voters are so incredibly stupid is that they are from New York. I understand the Florida gets the lion's share of New York refugees but California get a lot of them too and their influence on the former golden state has been shocking.
