2 Pali's saw all those jews so close to the border and had blood lust and couldnt help but to go on a murdering spree. They thought the other axis powers would have similar blood lust once they saw all the dead jews.

3 Possible reason for the original massive Israeli intelligence failure. No 'supporting data' from spies in the other countries so the Intelligence (a significant fraction) could go back to tacitly supporting the Israeli Opposition.
