1 I believe that there are many hard working Venezuelans that hate communism and socialism that would make great Americans. They would have a legitimate case for asylum. This blanket protection order was being leveraged by leftists to prevent deportation or criminals and friends of the Venezuelan regime. No reason to have it in place as a Lawfare weapon.
