2 The mockery is an assertion of dominance.

A decidedly non-speech action of murderous violence by a leftist is leveraged to achieve and assert leftist dominance in the free mrketplace of ideas.

A group that is forced to respond to murderous injustice with a "Thank you Sir! May I have another!" is utterly defeated.

This utter defeat is the propagandistic objective.

They are qualitatively taking the same approach as Hamas putting starving hostages on display.

This is thus very much different from mocking a disliked person's death if that death was natural like e.g. Thatcher.
