2 Black soldiers have this issue and it has been well known. When your retention sucks... might want to rethink this one.

4 It interferes with a tight gas mask seal. Dad's don't teach sons how to properly shave anymore. It's not a quick lather up and zip zop with a razor. There is a reason that there are barber schools. Don't whine. Back in the 50s and 60s many draftees had to be given basic hygiene training.

5 P2K we have a lot better tech than back then and when I was in. NATO troops have modern gas masks and a short beard doesn't interfere with the seal. Also see modern CPAPs
