Could having a $150k 1700 Sq/Ft house in 2020,
that is now selling for $285k + in 2025.

Along with Home interest rates of 2 to 3 points higher.

Food and other living prices up 21% over the same period.

Increases in local/State/Federal taxes.

But! Incomes not keeping pace.

Could all of these have something to do with it

#3 Some of that cost is because people want and builders construct HGTV homes as well. Do you want a 'home' or do you want an investment? How many 'basic' models do you see being built?
