#3 How remarkably foolish it was for the US not to force Zelensky to negotiate seriously in March.... and foolish of Biden in late 2021 to allow, or perhaps urge, Zelensky to rip up the Minsk II Accords and vow he would seize Crimea and gain NATO membership.

The Ukrainians have lost everything. Their country is destroyed, they have no economy to speak of. They are completely dependent on strangers' largesse. All because they did the bidding of some insane Washington neoconservatives who thought by spilling Ukrainian blood, they'd teach Vladimir a lesson.

A total fiasco. Such an extraordinary waste. So foolish.
