Once again, badanov got there first, and much more efficiently. (Teamwork!) But he has a genuine journalism degree and once was in paid employment for it before moving on to more emphatically practical employment, whereas I spent my childhood intermittently editing one of my favourite scientists’ efforts at English and, eventually, writing poetry. :-)

#29 Been jonesin for the Burg like a crackhead since she went down. You just don't realize how much you depend on something til it is gone. 20 years is a long time folks. Cuttin the Burg off cold turkey was harsh, harsh for some of us. Great to see Fred on the mend and all of the regulars back on the comment thread. Thanks Fred for 20 years of the Burg. Now I'll go back to lurking.
