2 If US leave, make sure all the funding evaporate as well. And impost the same sanctions as Iran on Iraq.

3 If you roll back the years, Saddam was faced with the very same challenge. I was certainly no Saddam fan, but it would appear the conflict is a long-standing neighborhood dynamic. Hindsight being what it is.
