3 If you are unarmed, fleeing from multiple armed assailants is a valid survival technique. Issue the police pistols along with proper training and the response will likely be different.

If you are not trained in knife fighting, the street is a dreadful place to begin taking lessons.

4 From what I've heard "Community Police" in UK are more the equivalent of hall monitors than even mall cops, at best a baby sitter saying "wait till your father gets home."
