#1 Gülen had been a close ally of the government until recently, and has lived in the United States since 1999.

So that fellow has just been.... hanging out here for 17 years and has never bothered to become a U.S. citizen? For the sake of argument, how is it he has any protection from extradition ?

Nothing heard from Incilrik Air Base. Are our airmen and civilians still confined to base? No electricity, food, incoming/outgoing flts etc? Appears to be a hostage situation that nobody in the regime (our regime) is discussing. Or do I need to be brought up to date ?

#2 He has been kind of a nasty fellow before. But his Opponent is really good at purging. Why don't we find out more. He is the Police Union guy, not the Airforce guy. Many guys want Turkey to have Lawful Republican in it. Ataturk ya know?
