2 It's a Federal death sentence. Not up to 12 jurors from Massabluesetts any more. Appeals will be heard by Federal court judges unless the conviction is vacated and a do-over goes down.

5 I'm interested to see if the feds can get the necessary lethal injection drugs that the states are having trouble getting. It's be amusing if a bullet, a rope or a vintage electric chair set to "slow roast" were the only viable (is that ironic usage?) options...

7 Hard to see him getting a do-over. But breath-holding not advised. I'd expect him to sit on death row for a decade while defense lawyers wank over whether it is mean to kill someone who deliberately tried to kill and maim a whole bunch of people. Personally, justice delayed is justice denied.
