#1 From what i have seen/read Pakistan supports Nazir/Haqquani/Bahadur whilst the US support TTP.This the war that is going on in the Tribal areas.

The Pakistani Taliban are targeting the Paks whilst the Nazir,Haqquani and Badahur are targeting the US/Nato in Afghanistan.

Its a covert war going on imo.

#5 Good Taliban=Pak supported.

Bad Taliban=US supported.

Read up on General Beg and Hamid Gul.They have been saying it for years.

In Iraq we were fighting Iranian backed militia in the Shia areas and in Afghanistan we are fighting the Pak army backed Taliban.

The hit on a nato base is not coincidence.Its the Paks fighting back for hitting one of their assets.

Pak army hold the cards re Mullah Omar/Haqqanni & Co.

Time will tell if i am right.

Agreed. But American drones are hitting the TTP, et al in Waziristan and such, which suggests the TTP a not our fair haired boys.

That we are fighting a covert war in Pakistan as well as Iran I don't doubt, though I wanted to respond to your posts before reading your articles -- I'm tired today, and therefore a bit slow with such things. But I'm pretty sure we aren't siding with the TTP -- they send their people off to Afghanistan to fight when things are slow at home, or so it seems to me. Hamid Gul has always been full of conspiracy theories, after all -- everything is the fault of the CIA, Mossad, and/or the Indian secret service, whose name escapes me at the moment... but never, ever a consequence of ISI plotting.
