Run a moderate, pro-Israel Republican against him, and see which way the voters in his corner of Minnesota fall.

They aren’t stuck with that horrible, insulting thing their ancestor was given when he couldn’t afford to buy a nice one following Napoleon’s decree that all would have to adopt a family name,. Many Belgians have equally horrid family names, because what they thought would be another temporary spasm of their French overlords turned out to be permanent.
