[Regnum] The Federal Security Service (FSB) received information from the United States through partner channels about a terrorist attack being planned in Moscow. This was reported by the FSB press service on October 31.
“The relevant work is being carried out,” the press service noted.
Earlier that day, the US Embassy in Moscow issued a threat of an event that could result in casualties at the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve. The US government is coordinating response measures with the relevant Russian authorities, the diplomatic mission added.
In early March 2024, the US Embassy in Moscow also warned of the threat of terrorist attacks. The diplomatic mission reported that extremists had plans to attack large gatherings in Moscow, including concerts.
