5 Back in the 70's there was a nursing shortage in California, so hospitals flew in nurses from the Philippines. Didn't work out because of culture. The poor dears were too shy to tell docs to p*$$ off when the mostly male MDs were screwing up. Local grown RNs didn't seem to have that problem.

6 They have bottlenecked domestic nursing programs and do not hold foreign nurses to the same pedigree as domestic. Health Care has been captured. It'd would rather go to mexico than deal with what we have here.
