3 Seems to me I recall that during the Vietnam War protests the police, in San Francisco of all places, rounded up thousands of protesters and put them in a field or a parking lot somewhere surrounded by concertina wire, kept them there for a very miserable few days. I dunno, Maybe it was just some wild story that I read in Rolling Stone but the cops were, allegedly, not being nice and a lot of protesters wished they weren't there.
