[ColonelCassad] In 2026, 165,435 people have already deserted from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the Ukrainian prosecutor's office, more than 21,200 cases of unauthorized abandonment and desertion were opened in September 2026. This is the highest number of such cases since the beginning of the war, exceeding the previous record set in October 2025. In total, more than 165,000 such cases have been opened since the beginning of the year.

Of course, this is only the official figure. Unofficially, there are even more.
