And, by the way, some 25.000 Yemenis followed the call and appeared in Peshawar after the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. There they were sent out as cannon fodder in a war that continued for nearly nine years. The survivors returned to Yemen to help make it the Islamic paradise it is today.
