#3 That is an internecine struggle that pits the tribals of the west against the traditional Arab leaders of the Arab homeland of the Nile Region. It has happened before when the Mahdi came out of the West to take control of the Arab homeland. The British created the boundaries of the huge modern state of the Sudan, and the nation lasted for more than a century. It is now falling apart, but no one seems to have the foggiest idea what should replace it.
