#1 Are the Iranians really able to just 'copy' an advanced Russian system?

Or is "3rd Khordad" just a disguise of the Russian system that enables the Russians to deliver their weapons to various nefarious actors while maintaining more or less plausible deniability?

#12 (1) Russians would like to keep Iranian oil off the market to keep the price high. (2) Helps Russian sales to have deniability that this was not an actual Russian product but a cheap Persian knock-off. I wouldn't put it past them to have helped Israel a bit.
