Don't know if that's true or hype from KHAAAAAAANNNN, but if true, that's really funny. Hey, imitaing The Prophet™ in each and every possible way is a biggie in the whole salafi/djihadist/whahabi/whatever playbook, how he slept, what he ate for breakfast, what he thought, what he dood, how he crapped,... donw to the very lenght of his Manly (henne-dyed) Beard™... that is, until you are fearing for dear life, and are running away in abject fear, because, to borrow a famous quote, you aren't so tough, after all... then, it is ok to shave the beard you had other men grow under bodily threats.
Oh, boy, they must feel so violated. It's so wrong, it's funny.

I wonder if they would have converted to judaism, should it have helped them flee better? Possibly!
