No. Belarus is not considered a "safe third country", and it's hard to contest that.

The problem is, the migrants will just push on to Germany (where they want to go anyway).

OTOH if word gets around migrants may opt for a different route. It's no fun to be stranded in Belarus.

We'll see.

#2 Belarus is a Russian client & ally. They wouldn't do anything provocative at a NATO border without Russian approval or orders.

This large scale flooding of Germany with Muslim settlers via Russia / Belarus collusion has taken place since at least 2021.
