3 A reminder why I should not and will not be President. I'd tell both countries where to go and if they had any flagged vessels, we wouldn't protect them.

Also do either England or France even have any ships able to deploy to the Gulf.

4 We spent the last forty years _NOT_ building suitable modern frigates with actual sufficient guns on them because they weren't Super Destroyers and the NATO allies would be able to handle that part of the mission.

Now they're stuck in a world where we can just hand over the whole fucking Middle East and its ocean of oil to a Russian Proxy but we're still expected to keep Ukraine free. (Not to mention Venezuela, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vladimir Putin, Inc., and Xi Xinvestments LLC for the last 28 or so years).

5 Anyway, they want to give Russia big swaths of the planet but fight them for Ukraine. The problem is, Russia's economy runs off of the bits of the planet they grabbed in a relatively uncontested fashion.
