#2 Animal testing has to be done to assess drug toxicity and dose response. But some animal models just don’t work for testing potential efficacy. We’re using human cells for that purpose as well as dose response. Still have to use non human primates for toxicity and dose coverage. (We’re developing a gene replacement therapy for a genetic form of Parkinson’s that affects young people)
