#8 I've heard countless stories of actors who lied about knowing how to or shoot guns or speak with a posh accent (Michael Caine hired for Zulu) or just ride a horse. When they get to the set and its discovered they lied someone is assigned to teach them.

Retaining that information is another thing.

Bothering about all that when you disrespect guns and gun owners and you are the executive producer and high lord of all you survey is even another thing again.
