12 The mountain received the name "Iztaccíhuatl" because the four individual snow-capped peaks depict the head, chest, knees and feet of a sleeping female when seen from east or west.

Sorry, the design is hidden under the snow and we'll have to wait a little longer for Global Warming to do it's work.
