[OneIndia] Seven Pakistain based bandidos bandidos murderous Moslems have been listed under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) by the Ministry of Home Affairs in the past 15 days.

Sajjad Gul, Ashiq Ahmed Nengroo, Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar, Arjumand Gulzar Jan, Ali Kashif Jan, Mohiuddin Aurangzeb Alamgir, and Hafiz Talha Saeed, who are based in Pakistain were listed under the UAPA based on the recommendations of the CID, Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....

US slaps sanctions on 8 LeT leaders including 26/11 mastermind

[India Express] The United States on Thursday slapped sanctions on Pakistain-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba's

son.

Announcing the sanctions, the US said LeT, despite being designated as a foreign terrorist organization in January 2002, continues to "operate in Pakistain" and throughout the region and engage in terrorist activities worldwide.

"LeT has conducted numerous terrorist acts against Pak, Indian, Afghan and US interests and is responsible for the November 2008 Mumbai attacks that killed more than 160 people, including six Americans, and the July 2006 Mumbai train bombings that killed more than 180 people," the Department of Treasury said.

Besides Mir, other LeT leaders slapped with sanctions are Abdullah Mujahid, Ahmed Yaqub, Hafiz Khalid Walid, Qari Muhammad Yaqoob Sheikh, Amir Hamza, Abdullah Muntazir, and Talha Saeed, the son of the LeT leader Saeed.

Individuals targeted today are based in Pakistain and involved in LeT's propaganda campaigns, financial networks, and logistic support networks.

"Today's targets also include military commanders directly responsible for the murderous 2008 Mumbai attacks as well as attacks on coalition and Afghan forces. Today's designations are designed to undermine LeT's leadership and support networks of LeT that have planned terrorist attacks around the world," the Treasury Department said.

"Today's action against LeT is Treasury's most comprehensive to date against this group and includes individuals participating in all aspects of LeT's operations - from commanders planning attacks to those managing LeT's relationships with other terrorist groups," Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence David S Cohen said.

Home Front: WoT
Pakistani held for backing Lashkar
2011-09-03
[Dawn] A man of Pak origin has been nabbed and charged in the US with supporting Lashkar-e-Taiba, FBI officials said on Friday.

Jubair Ahmad, 24, of Woodbridge, Virginia, allegedly received religious training from the terrorist group as a teenager in Pakistain and later attended one of its training camps.

Jubair came to the United States in 2007 with his family. He`s been under investigation for two years, ever since the US Federal Bureau of Investigation got a tip that he might be connected to the group, the officials said.

The US State Department has designated Lashkar-e-Taiba as a terrorist group.

An affidavit submitted in a Virginia court claims that in September 2010, Jubair produced and uploaded a propaganda video to YouTube on behalf of LeT, after communications with a person named "Talha".

In a subsequent conversation with another person, Jubair identified Talha as Talha Saeed, the son of LeT leader Hafiz Mohammed Saeed.

Talha and Jubair allegedly communicated about the images, music and audio that Jubair was to use to make the video. The final video contained images of LeT leader Hafiz Saeed, so-called jihadi deaders and armoured trucks exploding after they were hit by improvised bombs.

In October 2010, Talha allegedly contacted Jubair and requested that he revise the LeT propaganda video, giving Jubair specific instructions.

Jubair allegedly revised the video and posted it on Oct 16, 2010.

In August 2011, FBI agents interviewed Jubair, but he denied any involvement with the October 2010 video.

If convicted, Jubair faces a maximum potential sentence of 15 years in prison on the material support charge and eight years in prison on the charge of making false statements in a terrorism investigation.

In June, a Pakistain-born Chicago businessman was found guilty of providing support to Lashkar-e-Taiba in the 2008 Mumbai assault but not guilty of taking part in the attack.

Tahawwur Rana, 50, a former Pakistain Army doctor with Canadian citizenship, was also found guilty of conspiring to attack a Danish newspaper; a plot hatched by the myrmidon group but never carried out.

'Dawa cannot appeal to ICJ against UNSC resolution'
2008-12-15
The Jamaatud Dawa cannot use the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to overturn the sanctions imposed on it or the crackdown against it, say legal experts.

Jamaatud Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed had claimed that the organisation would seek the arbitration of the ICJ after the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) placed sanctions on them. Saeed's son, Talha Saeed, also said that a legal challenge would be made in the ICJ against the crackdown, adding that there was no moral or legal justification for the sanctions. Legal experts told Daily Times that the ICJ could only entertain states, adding that individuals; non governmental organisations; parts of a federal state; corporations; UN organs; and self-determination groups were excluded from direct participation in cases.

However, a state may bring a case against another state in a situation where 'diplomatic protection' is brought into question, on behalf of one of its nationals or corporations, they said.

In line: Constitutional law expert SM Zafar said that as the crackdown against the organisation was in accordance with a resolution of the UNSC, no court could be moved to take action. He said that the only way to overturn the council's decision was a lengthy procedure in which they may request the UNSC to de-list them. He also said that this was the only way and no other legal forum was available, including the ICJ.

To a question, he said that Pakistan would not be able to take the case before the ICJ, adding that the only way that would have been possible was if any member from the UN had vetoed the resolution.

Another expert, AK Dogar, said that the jamaat could not bring the case before the ICJ, and if it wanted to challenge the actions of the Pakistan government, they would have to go through the high courts and Supreme Court. He said that if the organisation challenged the government's actions in the ICJ, the countries sovereignty would be questioned. However, he claimed, the government had used illegal means to detain the outfit's leaders. He said that the government was supposed to issue detention orders prior to the detention, but in this case the orders were issued days after the arrests and detention, which is against the fundamental rights granted to every citizen in the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Jihadis starting to worry about Hafiz Saeed's detention...
2002-07-27
Expressing profound concern about the whereabouts of her missing life partner of Hafiz Muhammad Saeed Ameer (chief) of Jamaat-ud-Dawat Pakistan, Umme Talha Friday threw a warning to the government saying, " if some thing odd happens to him (Hafiz) government would be responsible for it.'
"Cuz we're not responsible for our own actions..."
She sounded this concern in a joint wordy and lengthy statement along with her son Hafiz Talha Saeed and son-in-law Hafiz Khalid Walid.
The last named is head of Lashkar-e-Taiba, which Hafiz Saeed used to head. Again we see a terror machine being operated as a family business...
She has termed her husbands over two months illegal confinement as injustice and barbarism saying that President Musharraf and his family has to pay the price for this cruelty.
Sounds like a threat, doesn't it?
