| More militant commanders surrender |

| Another two alleged militant commanders of Adezai and Matani surrendered to the police here on Tuesday. The commanders who surrendered included Amjad Wadan and Roohul Amin. Five commanders, Jan Alam, Khalid Nawaz, Afsar Zada, Ikhtiar Khan and Amjad Khan, had surrendered to the Peshawar Police last Monday while another 16 suspects, including Waheed Shah, Khairullah, Haroon, Ikramullah, Iqbal, Gohar, Rahat, Usman, Bahader, Sahib Gul, Hazrat Ali, Wajid, Qari Sajid Raza, Majid Khan, Afzal Khan and Khalid surrendered Saturday last. The suspects were said to be the main characters behind the bomb blasts, rocket attacks and ambushes on police parties and police stations in the area between Darra Adamkhel and the urban Peshawar. There are nine other suspects who are still at large. |
