IDF strikes targets in southern Gaza Strip
2020-08-25
[Jpost] "Recently, IDF fighter jets, tanks and aircraft attacked military bases and underground infrastructure of the Hamas terrorist organization in the southern Gaza Strip,” the IDF said in a statement.

The IDF struck targets in the southern area of the Gazoo

Strip the IDF said in a statement, confirming initial Paleostinian reports.

According to the Paleostinian reports, explosions were heard at the same time IDF aircraft entered the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

"The IDF conducts an ongoing situation assessment and acts firmly and resolutely against any attempt to carry out terrorist activity against the citizens of the State of Israel and the violation of its illusory sovereignty."

The strike came in the early hours of Tuesday morning, following at least 36 fires that were started in the Gaza envelope, on Monday.
The Times of Israel adds:
There were no immediate reports of casualties.

On Monday, a senior Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw, official told the pro-Hamas channel Paleostine Today that the surge in violence would continue until their demands on lifting the blockade were met.

"It is our right to break this siege," Ismail Radwan said.

were killed in an apparent bomb-making accident in the Gaza Strip.

After explosions were reported in a PIJ military wing compound in the northern Gaza City neighborhood of Shejaiya, Paleostinian media initially attributed the earth-shattering kabooms to Israeli Air Force strikes. But Hebrew media, citing Israeli security officials, denied any Israeli connection to the incident, adding that it appeared to have been a "work accident."

The terror group subsequently announced that four of its fighters, Iyad Jamal al-Jidi, Muataz Amir al-Mubid, Yahya Fareed al-Mubid and Yaaqoub Zaydieh were killed in the blast during "preparations to remove the criminal entity from our occupied land."

In recent days the IDF has responded to the dozens of arson balloons and intermittent rocket fire with near-nightly reprisal raids on Hamas targets in the Strip, bombing underground infrastructure, weapons production facilities, cement factories used to make parts for tunnels, and observation posts along the border.

The situation in the Gaza Strip was poised to become even more volatile as Hamas announced Monday that it had identified four new cases of the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...

Unsure how the four family members managed to contract the virus, Hamas declared a 48 hour lockdown over the entire enclave in an effort to identify the source of the outbreak and contain it.

Palestine’s Islamic Jihad Says Fighter Martyred in Israeli ‘Savage Crime’ at Gaza Fence

and the occupied territories, east of Khan Younes.

"One of OUR Mujahedeen (fighters) Mohammad Ali Hasan An-Naem, 27, was martyred on Sunday morning in a savage Zionist crime," al-Quds Brigades, Islamic Jihad’s military wing, said in a brief statement carried by Paleostine Today news agency.

Israeli occupation forces on Sunday morning rubbed out a Paleostinian and injured four others near the Gaza border, before brutally extracting the martyr’s body with a bulldozer.

In a widely shared distressing video, an Israeli armored bulldozer was filmed repeatedly crushing the body of the slain Paleostinian with its blade, then grabbing the corpse with the blade and swinging the body back and forth in the air.
The Jerusalem Post adds:
The IDF began attacking terror targets in the Gaza Strip in response to over 21 rockets were fired towards southern Israel communities on Sunday in several rocket barrages after Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) threatened to avenge the death of a terrorist by the IDF after he tried to plant explosives along the Gaza border fence.

The IDF said as of 11 p.m. that of 21 rockets fired from the Gaza Strip, 13 were successfully intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system.

A video from the scene uploaded to social media on Sunday showed a crowd of Palestinian youth throwing stones towards an Israeli bulldozer sent to retrieve the body of the dead terrorist. He was identified as Muhammed Ali al-Na’im, 27, a commander of PIJ’s military wing, al-Quds Brigade, in the Khan Yunis area.

The graphic footage showed the bulldozer driving at high speed toward a group of Palestinian youth to prevent them from grabbing the body. Several people were seen carrying one individual, but the bulldozer was seen lifting the body of the deceased suspect from the ground before it returned to Israel along with an IDF Merkava tank which had been guarding it.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza was quoted by the Bethlehem-based Ma’an News Agency as saying that another two men were injured by IDF gunfire while trying to retrieve the body and the wounded individual.

According to the IDF’s Spokesperson’s Unit, two Palestinians were identified approaching the fence and placing an improvised explosive device on it near the southern city of Khan Yunis. They were fired upon by troops from the IDF’s Kfir Brigade “who were deployed to the location following the detection” of the suspects.

The Israeli military said the cell affiliated with the PIJ terrorist group which had placed the explosive device near the border fence on Sunday morning was responsible for two other similar incidents in recent months near the fence.

Defense Minister Bennett called the uproar over retrieval of the terrorist’s body by the IDF bulldozer “hypocritical criticism of the left,” and supported the IDF’s collection of the corpse.

“I am sick and tired of the hypocritical criticism of the Left against the ‘inhumanity’ of using a bulldozer to retrieve the body of a terrorist who tried to murder Israelis. Gentlemen, you are not human. Hamas holds the bodies of Hadar and Oron,” he said, referring to the bodies of two fallen IDF soldiers in the hands of Hamas since Operation Protective Edge in 2014.

Last week, Bennett said that Israel would begin to “hoard” the bodies of Palestinian terrorists, to use as “bargaining chips” to pressure Hamas to release two Israeli citizens and the bodies of the two fallen IDF soldiers held by the terrorist group in the Gaza Strip.

Hamas’s Al-Qassam brigades reported that the IAF targeted multiple targets belonging to terrorist groups in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday night. The IDF confirmed that it had struck a PIJ terror cell preparing to launch rockets from the northern part of the Strip. Palestinians reported that there were at least three injured in the strike.

PIJ Sec.-Gen. presents ceasefire conditions as rocket barrage fired
2019-11-14
[JPOST] "The Al-Quds Brigades has not exhausted all its missiles and weapons against the enemy," warned al-Nakhla.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) Secretary-General Ziyad al-Nakhlah said that the group will prove that they are able to battle Israel and manage such a fight successfully, in an interview with Al Mayadeen Wednesday night.

Rockets were launched on both Sderot and Ashdod as al-Nakhla spoke. Soon after his speech ended, a heavy barrage of rockets was fired at central and southern Israel, setting off sirens from Ashdod to Rehovot.

Al-Nakhlah also said that Hamas has not, of yet, joined the fight alongside the PIJ against Israel, adding that the terror group has not asked factions to join. The PIJ secretary general specified that they have not reached the stage of all-out war between "the axis of resistance" and Israel. The attacks were carried out in response to the assassination of PIJ official Bahaa Abu Al-Ata and the assassination attempt against a PIJ official in Damascus.

The secretary-general also said that Israel conveyed a request for a ceasefire and that the terrorist group would agree to a ceasefire if Israel met three requirements: the cessation of assassinations, stopping firing on the March of Return demonstrations and the lifting of the siege on Gaza according to former agreements made in Cairo. The secretary-general stated that he expects an answer about the terms of the ceasefire tonight.

"The Al-Quds Brigades has not exhausted all its missiles and weapons against the enemy," warned al-Nakhla.

He stressed that PIJ has decided to protect the March of Return demonstrations.

"For those who say that the current battle is the battle of Al-Quds Brigades, we say it is the battle of the Palestinian people," said al-Nakhlah.

Al-Nakhla added that no rockets are fired by PIJ terrorists without direct commands.

Al-Nakhla stated that the PIJ would continue attacking Israel as long as Israel continues its "aggression."

The current round of fighting began early Tuesday morning after the IAF assassinated PIJ leader Bahaa Abu Al-Ata and his wife and attempted to assassinate a PIJ official in Damascus. Hundreds of rockets have been fired since the assassination was carried out. Israel has responded with multiple waves of attacks in the Gaza Strip against Palestinian terrorist groups.

Thousands of Palestinians protest on Gaza border
2018-10-20
[Ynet] Most demonstrators keep away from fence but some burn tires closer; Paleostinians breached fence and flee back into the strip three times, Israeli troops opened fire on infiltrators in one instance.

Some 10,000 Paleostinians protested as part of Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw,'s "March of Return" campaign at several spots along the Gazoo border on Friday evening, with Israeli defense officials saying the festivities were the calmest over the past seven months and that Hamas has been able to rein in the violence.

The IDF said most of the protesters have been keeping their distance from the border fence, while dozens were burning tires and throwing rocks with slingshots closer to the fence.

There were also fewer incidents of rioters hurling explosives, Molotov cocktails and grenades at IDF troops. Israeli troops responded with crowd dispersal measures.

Defense officials estimated Hamas deployed gunnies to the border fence area to calm down protesters and prevent violence. In addition, Lebanese TV network Al Mayadeen reported the IDF also sent text messages to Gazoo residents, warning them not to come to the border.

Nevertheless, Paleostinians managed to breach the border fence, enter Israeli territory and flee back into the strip three times. In one of the cases, the IDF shot up the infiltrators. The IDF said "all infiltration incidents were being monitored by the forces."

Hamas' al-Aqsa TV aired footage of Paleostinians climbing over the fence and others breaching it and entering into Israeli territory. Others used cutters to tear down parts of the barrier.

Gazoo's Health Ministry reported 130 Paleostinians were maimed by Israeli fire and six of them were at death's door. About 30 Paleostinians suffered tear gas inhalation.

The IDF has deployed large forces along the border and has been preparing for the possibility the "March of Return" protest will escalate later. IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot held a situation assessment on the border.

An IAF shot up a terror cell launching incendiary balloons from Gazoo into Israel.

Meanwhile firefighting teams with aid from the KKL and the Nature and Parks Authority have been working since the early morning hours to put out three fires caused by incendiary balloons.

The Hamas terror group said in a statement that "the persistence of the people in Gazoo and the mass participation in the 30th week to the 'March of Return' to break the blockade is the biggest response to the threats of the Israeli enemy, as it serves as a great incentive for our people.

Hamas official Ismail Radwan added that "no element has asked us to stop the protests. Even the Egyptians stressed it is our right to protest."

Earlier, the Hamas-led organizing committee of the weekly "March of Return" riots issued an unusual announcement, telling demonstrators not to approach the Gazoo border fence during the protests.

The Paleostinians were asked not to come near the border fence so Israel would not have an excuse to attack the coastal enclave.

"Your blood is valuable, keep it to establish the homeland," the announcement read.

Sources in Gazoo further told Ynet Hamas is expected to tone down the display of violence.

The sources added that talks held with Egyptian intelligence officials, as well as Israel's warning that further escalation in the strip would force it to launch a military campaign in Gazoo, would motivate the terror organization to curb the violence.

Israeli decision-makers believe that restraining the festivities along the border fence would restore calm there.

Skirmishes resembling to last Friday's riots, during which the Paleostinians placed an bomb on the fence, with 20 of them breaching it and prompting the IDF to open fire, would leave Israel with little choice but to launch a limited military campaign in Gazoo, credible sources told Ynet.
The Times of Israel adds:
According to reports, Egypt had warned Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", that renewed protests would bring a heavy Israeli response.

330-plus Paleos injured in protests
2015-10-12
Palestinian riots continued to rock the West Bank and Gaza Sunday, although the number of participants among them are dwindling as Israeli Security Forces clamp down on unrest.

The Red Moon-Shaped Thingy Crescent, the main emergency medical service organization in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, said that 332 Palestinians were wounded in clashes with security forces on Sunday alone.

All in all, 51 Palestinians in the West Bank were injured by live fire from Israeli security forces, 71 by rubber bullets and six suffered from burns. In the Gaza Strip, 32 people were injured in clashes with security forces.

Hamas senior official, Ismail Radwan, said that his organization was alarmed about the tactics Israeli forces were using to control violent demonstrations in the coastal enclave.

"Israel is committing massacres against the Palestinian people," Radwan said.
Totally uncalled for, since all your people are doing is stabbing Jooz, right?
"An innocent civilian's house was bombed which killed a woman and her child" Radwan added, referencing a retaliatory strike Israel conducted Saturday evening after earlier rocket fire emanating from the Gaza Strip landed in the Ashkelon regional council. No injuries or damage was reported in the attack.

Nur Hassan, 31, along with her infant daughter were both killed in the Gaza strike.

Meanwhile, the Arab League granted a request by the Palestinian Authority and will hold an emergency meeting Tuesday to discuss recent events centering on the West Bank and Gaza Strip. A PA representative who made the request said that discussions will focus on Palestinian grievances, particularity al-Aqsa mosque, in an effort to stop "radical Zionists desecrating it under the auspices of occupation forces."

Arab League Deputy Secretary-General Ahmed Ben Heli said that an important decision will be made during the emergency meeting "in light of the Israeli offensive against the Palestinian people."

He added that "we will discuss what steps should be taken by the Arabs against Israel, which violates Jerusalem's holy sites in an unprecedented way."
I'm sure the Israelis are super-worried about the response of the Arab League...

Abbas Suggests Banning Jews From Temple Mount

Paleostinian President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
... a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial...
suggested Jews should be banned from a holy site revered by both Jews and Moslems after hundreds of Paleostinians in Gazoo participated in a Hamas-organized rally Friday over Jerusalem's flashpoint al-Aqsa mosque, the scene of recurring festivities between Israeli security forces and Paleostinians in recent days.

Leaving mosques after prayers in Gazoo City, they rolled their eyes, jumped up and down, and hollered poorly rhymed slogans real loud pledging to defend the mosque and waved green flags, the color of the Islamist movement Hamas, the de facto ruler of Gazoo. The rally was also attended by other Paleostinian factions, including the Lion of Islam Islamic Jihad

Ismail Radwan, a Hamas leader, called on "our people in Jerusalem and the West Bank to defend al-Aqsa."

Police Spokeswoman Luba Samri said 5,000 people participated in Friday's prayers at al-Aqsa, which passed without event. Police had barred men under the age of 50 from accessing the holy site to prevent disturbances.

Abbas made the comments following recent festivities between Paleostinian worshippers and Israeli forces over what Paleostinians see as Jewish encroachment on the site, known to Jews as the Temple Mount and to Moslems as the Noble Sanctuary.

Abbas said Jews should be prevented from entering the site "by any means," adding that "this is our Noble Sanctuary... they have no right to enter and desecrate it."

Paleostinians also say Israel is unfairly restricting access at the site. Israel limited male Moslem worshippers this past week to those 50 years old and older due to recent violence there.

The site is the holiest in Judaism and the third holiest in Islam.

On Thursday, Hamas political leader, Khaled Mashal, called for Moslems to defend the al-Aqsa mosque compound in Jerusalem, saying Israel was trying to seize the site, which is revered in both Islam and Judaism.

Mashal, speaking in the Qatar

On Wednesday, four Paleostinians were tossed in the slammer

following festivities with police at the Old City site.

Two days earlier, demonstrators clashed with security officers when non-Moslems were to visit the site.

The site is the scene of frequent tensions and also houses the Dome of the Rock, an Islamic shrine.

It is revered by Jews, who call it the Temple Mount, as the location of the biblical Jewish temples and considered Judaism's holiest place.

Non-Moslem visits to Al-Aqsa complex are permitted and regulated by police, but Jews are not allowed to pray at the site for fear it could trigger major disturbances. Instead, Jews pray at the Western Wall below.

Moslems fear Jewish presence on Al-Aqsa is aimed at usurping the site.

On Monday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated that "Israel is committed to maintaining the status quo" there.

Protests against Anti-Islam Film in Gaza, Tel Aviv
2012-09-14
[An Nahar] Several hundred Paleostinians in the Gazoo Strip protested on Thursday against an anti-Mohammedan film that has sparked deadly riots in Libya and Yemen.

The protest, called by the ruling Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, government's ministry of religious endowments, comes after two days of demonstrations that have left four U.S. embassy staff including the ambassador dead in Libya and a protester rubbed out in Yemen.

Ismail Radwan, Hamas's minister of religious endowments, called on the protesters gathered outside the legislative council building in Gazoo City to "boycott American products."

He called for new demonstrations to be held after Friday prayers.

Protesters held banners reading "Where are you Mohammedans, when your prophet is being insulted?"

In Tel Aviv, around 60 Arab-Israeli protesters demonstrated outside the U.S. embassy, in a protest called by the Islamic Movement in Israel.

"We came to protest against the producers of this movie and the United States which allowed it to be made," protester Zahi Nijidat told AFP.

Demonstrators rolled their eyes, jumped up and down, and hollered poorly rhymed slogans real loud against U.S. President Barack Obama
I am the change that you seek...
and criticized the film, a low-budget amateur production available on the Internet that was largely unheard of before the violent demonstrations that rocked several capitals since Tuesday.

Chanting slogans supporting Turkey and against Israel, the demonstrators burned the Israeli flag. They also condemned the UN- led report for legalizing more than four years of Israeli blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip.

Ismail Radwan, a senior Hamas leader, told the demonstrators that the "besieged Gaza Strip is greeting Turkey's people and leadership for their heroic decision of expelling the Israel ambassador out of Turkey."

Another Hamas leader Ahmed Bahar welcomed Turkey's decision to sue Israel at the International Court of Justice over the UN-led report "which legalized the unfair siege imposed on the Gaza Strip. "

Israeli airstrikes kill six in Gaza
2011-08-19
GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- An Israeli airstrike killed six Palestinians Thursday evening in southern Gaza, medics said, hours after a series of attacks left seven Israelis dead near Eilat.

Gaza medical official Adham Abu Salmiya said the airstrikes targeted a house in Rafah.

A Ma'an correspondent said the home belonged to Popular Resistance Committees official Khaled Shaath, who was killed instantly. His two-year-old son Malek later died of injuries sustained in the strike.

The attacks killed four others in Rafah. Among them were PRC military wing chief Abu Awad Nayrab and PRC operatives Imad Hamad, Abu Jamil Shaath and Khaled Masri, medical officials said.

The PRC confirmed the deaths in a statement posted to its website.

An Israeli military source told Ma'an that operations were underway in southern Gaza following a series of attacks in the south of Israel, whose leadership has blamed Gaza.

Ismail Radwan, a senior Hamas leader, condemned the "massacre in Rafah" and told Ma'an that "this crime won’t stop the resistance and won’t stop all Palestinians." He added that Hamas was taking every relevant action following Israel's threats.
Under the beds, boys!
Earlier, the interior ministry in Gaza said Egyptian authorities have closed the Rafah crossing amid the sharp increase in violence in Gaza and southern Israel.

Dupe URL: Hamas Summer Camps Train Next Gen. Terrorists
2011-06-12
Hamas is reporting record turnouts for its summer camps for children in 2011.

The 'summer camps,' combining Islamic indoctrination, paramilitary training, and social activities are set to begin again this year as United Nation’s summer camps, considered competition by Hamas, are being openly denigrated by jihadists.

Children and adolescents are an important target demographic for Hamas, from which its future army of terrorists will be recruited. Summer camps are an important means for indoctrinating Gaza's youth with Hamas' jihadist ideology.

In 2010 Hamas ran camps for an estimated 100,000 campers, a number similar to 2009. The Islamic Jihad terror group ran 51 camps with 10,000 participating boys and girls.

Hamas spokesman Ismail Radwan reported the objectives of the camps were to raise a generation of children with 'genuine Islamic values.'

"Children working for the interests of their homeland and to educate them to the culture of the Islamic faith so they will remember their goals, including Jerusalem and the prisoners," Radwan said

In addition to indoctrination, Hamas terrorists give children paramilitary training. Banners are hung on the walls with slogans extolling jihad and 'death for the sake of Allah.'

Other prominent motifs for this year are solidarity with Turkey in connection with the Mavi Marmara flotilla, a call for the release of Hamas prisoners (campers carried posters with their pictures) and organized expressions of hatred for Israel and the Jewish people.

UNRWA Programs Attacked

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency summer camp system hosted 250,000 children and adolescents in 2010. This year, as with previous years, the UN camps were harassed by jihadist terrorists.

On May 23, 2010 a group of 30 armed, masked men broke into an UNRWA summer camp site and burned it to the ground. On the night of June 28, 2010 armed, masked men broke into another UNRWA camp site in the Al-Zuweida region in central Gaza and set it on fire. In both incidents the arsonists were not identified.

A UNRWA spokesman called on the security services of the de facto Hamas administration in the Gaza Strip to investigate and determine who was behind the attacks.

But the groups of armed men who attack the UNRWA summer camps every year receive are inspired by, and probably supported by, Hamas and other terror networks networks operating in Gaza who say the UNRWA camps are 'undermining Palestinian values.'

In addition to propaganda, Hamas gives children paramilitary training. Banners are hung on the walls with slogans promoting jihad and 'death for the sake of Allah.'

Other prominent themes for this year are solidarity with Turkey in connection with the Mavi Marmara flotilla, a call for the release of Hamas prisoners (children carry posters with their pictures) and organized Islamic neo-Nazism expressions of hatred for Israel and the Jewish people.

The UNRWA summer camp system hosted 250,000 youngsters in 2010. This year, as with previous years, the camps were harassed by jihadist terrorists.

On May 23, 2010, a group of 30 armed men broke into an UNRWA summer camp site and burned it to the ground. On the night of June 28, 2010, armed men broke into another UNRWA camp site in central Gaza and set it on fire.

A UNRWA spokesman called on Hamas to investigate and determine who was behind the attacks. But the groups of armed men who attack the UNRWA summer camps every year are inspired by, and probably supported by, Hamas and other terror networks networks operating in Gaza who say the UNRWA camps are 'undermining Palestinian values.'
