Taliban’s Brutal Public Whippings: Two Men and One Woman Face Horrific Punishment in Maidan Wardak Province |
2023-07-11 |
In which the journalist employs a surplus of purple adjectives and adverbs, but there are facts underneath. [8am] In a shocking display of barbarism, the Taliban![]() ’s Supreme Court has unleashed a wave of public floggings, leaving the people aghast. This time, their merciless lashings targeted three individuals—two men and one woman—who dared to escape their homes in Maidan Wardak province. The horrifying scene unfolded on Thursday, July 6th, at the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Sports Stadium. As the whip cracked through the air, Taliban officials and local residents stood by, witnessing this appalling spectacle. Reports reveal the sheer brutality inflicted upon these hapless victims, as each one endured a spine-chilling 39 lashes, mercilessly administered by the Taliban’s merciless enforcers. Despite widespread national and international outcry, the Taliban brazenly persists in their reign of terror, continuing to impose these heinous acts of "retaliation" and floggings upon the people of Afghanistan. It is a stark reminder that even in mid-June, the Taliban publicly lashed a man in Paktika ...which coincidentally borders South Wazoo... province, shamelessly punishing him for the "crime" of engaging in extramarital relations. |
