Obama's CIA Director John Brennan Whines After Gabbard's Purge of Deep State Operatives
2025-05-17
[PJ] It appears that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard hit the target when former CIA Director John Brennan publicly whined over her firing of two senior Deep State officials who opposed President Donald Trump's policies.

Mike Collins, the acting chair of the National Intelligence Council, and his deputy, Maria Langan-Riekhof, were kicked out of the Council on May 13, after they pushed an assessment that contradicted the Trump administration's argument for mass deportations of illegal aliens.

Fox News reported that Gabbard fired the pair after whistleblowers outed them as "radically opposed to Trump" and sleepers inside the intelligence community who were quietly acting to sabotage the president's agenda.

A visibly shaken Brennan told MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace on Wednesday that "This whole thing just makes me livid," in the wake of the firings.

Brennan spent four decades in the intelligence community and was one of the many foes of President Trump in Washington.

Former and active intelligence officials like Brennan, who have been actively working behind the scenes to target President Trump and his supporters since 2016, are finally being purged by loyal supporters like Gabbard.

President Trump had previously called out Brennan for being the ringleader behind the Russia collusion hoax and for having 51 former intel officials, including Michael Morell, the former deputy director of the CIA, sign a letter denouncing the Hunter Biden laptop scandal as part of a wider Russian conspiracy.

The latest purge was part of Gabbard's plan to remove decades of politicized rot from within the U.S. intelligence community and to restore the community's integrity and accountability.

Secret Service agents question Comey about his Trump social media post
2025-05-17
[NBC] Secret Service agents interviewed former FBI director James Comey on Friday regarding his “8647” social media post that administration officials called a death threat against President Trump and Comey called a political statement.
Alinsky him — make him live up to his claimed standards for President Trump and Trump Republicans.
“Today, federal agents from @SecretService interviewed disgraced former FBI Director Comey regarding a social media post calling for the assassination of President Trump,” DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said late Friday. “I will continue to take all measures necessary to ensure the protection of @POTUS Trump. This is an ongoing investigation.”

A lawyer for Comey declined to comment.

Comey, a longtime Trump critic, deleted the photo — which showed seashells arranged in the shape of “8647”— within hours. He said it was a political message, not a violent one.
"Once a POS always a POS" theory validated.
“I didn’t realize some folks associate those numbers with violence,” Comey wrote on Instagram. “It never occurred to me but I oppose violence of any kind so I took the post down.”
“Yes, I was director of the Federal friggin’ Bureau of Investigation, but I’m really dumber than a box of hair,” said no VIP ever.
In an interview with Fox News on Friday, Trump said that he believes Comey “knew exactly what he meant.”

“A child knows what that meant... that meant ‘assassination,’” Trump said. “And it says it loud and clear. He wasn’t very competent, but he was competent enough to know what that meant.”

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said on Thursday that Comey should be jailed.

“I’m very concerned for the president’s life; we’ve already seen assassination attempts,” Gabbard said on Fox News. “I’m very concerned for his life and James Comey, in my view, should be held accountable and put behind bars for this.”

McCabe memos show how disgraced FBI leader kept Trump-Russia collusion hoax alive in 2017
2025-04-25
Another long one with lots of details at the link.
[JustTheNews] Newly-declassified Crossfire Hurricane records reveal the key role that Andrew McCabe played in perpetuating the Russiagate hoax. There are still people who believe it.

Newly-declassified memos written by disgraced FBI official Andrew McCabe shine new light on how he kept the Trump-Russia collusion hoax investigation alive during a critical period in the first half of 2017 before he got it handed off to a special counsel.

The eight memos penned by McCabe, most of which had never been released until earlier this month, span his discussions and meetings (including with President Donald Trump) held from January 24, 2017 to May 21, 2017 — a critical time period ranging from just before the FBI sprung an interview on retired Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn to just after Robert Mueller was appointed special counsel. The memos were more fully declassified through efforts by Trump and FBI Director Kash Patel earlier this month.

McCabe was a stalwart ally of since-fired FBI Director James Comey, coordinated closely with since-fired FBI special agent Peter Strzok on the launch and the conduct of the flawed and politicized Crossfire Hurricane investigation, and relied heavily upon disgraced FBI lawyer Lisa Page as his close confidante.

Pushed the Steele dossier

McCabe and Comey had pushed in December 2016 to include British ex-spy Christopher Steele's debunked dossier in the body of the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment on alleged Russian meddling, but they were thwarted by the NSA and CIA. The dossier was eventually included in an annex to the assessment.

By early 2017, McCabe and the FBI knew that the Steele dossier was baseless. The FBI had offered Steele an “incentive” in October 2016 of up to $1 million if he could prove the allegations in his discredited anti-Trump dossier, but the former MI6 agent was unable to back up his claims. An FBI spreadsheet from December 2016 showed nothing of any substance from the dossier could be verified. The FBI had unearthed nothing derogatory on Flynn. And an early 2017 interview of Steele’s main source — Igor Danchenko — undercut the dossier’s collusion claims.

Yet despite the huge setbacks for Crossfire Hurricane, McCabe’s newly-declassified memos show how McCabe facilitated the FBI’s targeting of Flynn, met with Vice President Mike Pence and other White House officials about the Flynn allegations, refused to publicly shoot down false media stories on collusion, opened a collusion investigation into Trump himself after Comey was fired, kept the Trump-Russia investigation alive and escalated it as the acting FBI director, helped successfully push for a special counsel to take the reins, and more.

McCabe did not respond to a request for comment sent to him by Just the News through his LinkedIn.

January 24, 2017 — Mike Flynn’s call with McCabe

McCabe created his first memo related to a discussion he had with Flynn just before he was interviewed by FBI agents on January 24, 2017. Versions of the memo were previously released with various redactions in 2019 and 2020, but the version released this month has the fewest redactions yet.

The FBI had been plotting how to potentially prosecute Flynn related to his December 2016 call with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, including potentially under the Logan Act.

McCabe said that “I told LTG Flynn that I had a sensitive matter to discuss. I explained that in light of the significant media coverage and public discussion about his recent contacts with Russian representatives, that Director Comey and I felt that we needed to have two of our agents sit down with the General and hear from him the details of those conversations. LTG Flynn asked if I was referring to his contacts with the Russian Ambassador to the United States, and indicated that I was.”

McCabe said in his memo that Flynn explained that he had been trying to "build relationships" with the Russians, and that he had calls in which he "exchanged condolences." McCabe said Flynn then stated that McCabe probably knew what was said in these calls because "you listen to everything they say."

McCabe said of his talk with Flynn that “I reiterated that in light of everything that has been said about these contacts, the important thing now was for us to hear directly from him what he said and how he felt about the conversations.”

Comey later admitted in 2018 that he took advantage of the chaos in the early days of Trump’s administration when he sent FBI special agents Peter Strzok and Joseph Pientka to talk to Flynn.

“I sent them,” Comey said to MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace, prompting laughter in the audience. “Something I probably wouldn’t have done or maybe gotten away with in … a more organized administration. In the George W. Bush administration, for example, or the Obama administration.”

“In both of those administrations, there was process, and so, if the FBI wanted to send agents into the White House itself to interview a senior official, you would work through the White House counsel, and there’d be discussions and approvals and who would be there, and I thought, it’s early enough — let’s just send a couple guys over,” Comey added.

STRZOK OVERJOYED THAT FLYNN CASE NOT CLOSED
The Justice Department’s motion to dismiss the Flynn case in May 2020 stated that Strzok learned in early January 2017 that the Flynn case had not been closed despite the lack of evidence for keeping it open, and relayed the “serendipitously good” news to McCabe's special assistant Lisa Page, with whom Strzok was having an affair. Strzok remarked that “our utter incompetence actually helps us.” Strzok then instructed FBI agents to “keep it open for now” at the behest of “the 7th Floor” of the bureau.

The DOJ said that “the FBI kept open its counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn based solely on his calls with Kislyak — the only new information to arise since the FBI’s determination to close the case.” McCabe did not tell Flynn that he was being interviewed by the FBI as part of an investigation targeting the Trump campaign.

McCabe said in his memo that “LTG Flynn questioned how so much information had been made public and asked if we thought it had been leaked” and “I replied that we were quite concerned about what we perceived as significant leaks and that we were in the process of completing a referral to the Department of Justice requesting authority to initiate a leak investigation.” McCabe said that “I further indicated that these cases were hard to prove but that we thought the significance of this situation demanded a thorough review.”

Convicted FBI lawyer spared from prison by Boasberg far more involved in Russia probe than known
2025-04-18
Long and detailed. A taste:
[JustTheNews] The judge who has emerged as a top foe of Trump's deportation efforts previously let a well-known Trump-Russia collusion hoax proponent off the hook. But newly-declassified Crossfire Hurricane records show the FBI's Kevin Clinesmith was deeply involved in in the bogus Russiagate saga.

Convicted FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith — whom Judge James Boasberg gave a slap on the wrist for his crimes years before becoming a public foe of President Donald Trump’s deportation policies — was more deeply involved in the deeply flawed Crossfire Hurricane investigation than previously known.

Clinesmith, who worked on both the FBI’s Hillary Clinton email investigation and on the Trump-Russia collusion inquiry, pleaded guilty to falsifying a document during the bureau’s efforts to renew FISA authority to wiretap Carter Page, who was an adviser to Trump's 2016 campaign.

Newly-declassified details about Clinesmith’s involvement include a wide swath of information about his role in the case. He was a key go-to for former FBI lawyer Lisa Page and fired FBI special agent Peter Strzok throughout the debunked collusion saga and a main driver in obtaining a FISA warrant against Page based on the infamous Steele dossier.

Clinesmith also granted his seal of approval on a document describing the FBI’s pretextual briefing of then-candidate Trump, was deeply involved in the investigation into retired Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn, played a role in going after former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos, and more. He also helped the FBI push its “Cross Wind” investigation, which Just the News can confirm related to the targeting of security expert Walid Phares, which resulted in no accusations of wrongdoing and no charges.

KNEE-DEEP IN THE MUD
Clinesmith confessed in August 2020 that he had manipulated a CIA email in 2017 to state that Carter Page was “not a source” for the CIA when that agency had actually told the bureau on multiple occasions that Page was in fact an “operational contact” for the CIA.

Boasberg, the federal judge who is blocking Trump’s efforts to deport Venezuelan gang members, also played a key and controversial role in the aftermath of the Trump-Russia collusion saga as the leader of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. The judge, nominated to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia by then-President Barack Obama in 2011, is currently engaged in an all-out legal battle with the Trump Justice Department.

But in his role as the head of the FISA Court he made a number of divisive decisions, including a slap on the wrist for a member of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane team, the appointment of officials who had defended the FBI’s actions during the Russiagate saga, the renewal of the FBI’s FISA powers, and more.

BOASBERG DEFENDS CLINESMITH
Boasberg ruled this week that “probable cause exists” to hold Trump administration officials in criminal contempt after they violated his orders by continuing deportation flights. But his ruling follows the Supreme Court holding that Boasberg's court was in an improper venue for the case altogether.

Boasberg, in his role as a federal judge, denied the Justice Department’s efforts to seek up to six months behind bars for Clinesmith, who pleaded guilty in Special Counsel John Durham’s Trump-Russia investigation — instead giving Clinesmith a year of probation, 400 hours of community service, and no fine.

Newly declassified Crossfire Hurricane docs shine light on Steele, Clinton, and more
2025-04-13
Long and detailed. Herewith, a taste:
[JTN] Trump's first attempt at declassifying Crossfire Hurricane documents in January 2021 was thwarted. But now, the FBI records have been released, revealing in part new details on the FBI's problematic Trump-Russia probe.

Newly-declassified FBI documents shine new light on the FBI’s mishandling of its relationship with anti-Trump dossier author Christopher Steele, on the FBI’s double standards on defensive briefings given to Trump and Hillary Clinton, and other key elements of the debunked collusion saga.

Just the News already revealed on Thursday that declassified documents show that Stefan Halper, a key FBI informant in the widely-debunked Russia collusion case, was paid nearly $1.2 million over three decades and was motivated in part by "monetary compensation" — and that he continued snitching for the bureau even after agents concluded he told them an inaccurate story about future Trump National Security Advisor Mike Flynn.

And Just the News also revealed on Friday that the newly-released documents showed that then-NSA director Mike Rogers shot down a Pultizer Prize award-winning Washington Post article about the baseless Russian collusion investigation.

And a new review of hundreds of pages of declassified documents provides new information about the politicized Russiagate scandal — although significant redactions still remain.

This week, FBI Director Kash Patel transmitted to Congress hundreds of pages of declassified documents from the bureau’s "Crossfire Hurricane" investigation related to false claims about Trump-Russia collusion, following a declassification executive order from President Donald Trump last month. Just the News made all 700 pages from the declassified binder available to the public on Thursday.

An investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller “did not establish” any criminal Trump-Russia collusion. DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz found huge flaws with the FBI’s investigation, criticizing the“central and essential” role of the dossier in the FBI’s politicized surveillance of former Trump campaign associate Carter Page. Special counsel John Durham’s report concluded that “neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.”

ADMIRAL MIKE ROGERS AND THE STEELE DOSSIER
Admiral Mike Rogers, who retired in 2018 after four years as National Security Agency chief and commander of U.S. Cyber Command, previously expressed a certain level of skepticism about the U.S. intelligence community’s 2017 assessment of alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 election — and a newly declassified interview Rogers gave to the FBI later in 2017 shines light on the dim view Rogers had of British ex-spy Christopher Steele’s discredited dossier.

“ADM Rogers decided that he would make the final analytic call on the NSA’s input to the ICA as he knew there would be a lot of pressure and attention on the final draft and he felt strongly his career analysts shouldn’t have to be responsible for something under such political pressure. In one draft of the ICA, ADM Rogers noted the contents of the ‘Steele dossier’ in the body of the product, which he did not recall seeing in previous drafts,” FBI notes dated June 17, 2017 state.

“In early January, the four principals met and ADM Rogers told the group he was unclear why the ICA needed to focus on the dossier as it was considered largely uncorroborated. Comey responded that the information was relevant and ADM Rogers suggested the information be included in an annex or appendix rather than prominently in the nearly one-page summary he had seen.”

Rogers and Comey, along with Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and CIA Director John Brennan, briefed President-elect Trump about their election meddling findings at Trump Tower in January 2017. Comey stayed behind to tell Trump about some of the dossier’s more salacious allegations.

Steele told the FBI in October 2017 that he was “frustrated” by his dossier’s inclusion in an annex to the ICA. The FBI agent who recounted the interview with Steele wrote, “They brought up the inclusion of their material in the ICA annex multiple times – almost to the point that it felt like fishing for information about how the ICA was constructed. In the end, I made the point that I wasn’t going to get into how the ICA was put together, how the annex came about, etc.”

The Steele dossier annexed to the ICA was largely declassified in 2020, and it relayed some of Steele’s baseless collusion claims: “The most politically-sensitive claims by the FBI source [Steele] alleged a close relationship between the President-elect and the Kremlin. The source also claimed that the President-elect and his top campaign advisers knowingly worked with Russian officials to bolster his chances of beating Secretary Clinton; were fully knowledgeable of Russia’s direction of leaked Democratic emails; and were offered financial compensation from Moscow.”

VARYING ASSESSMENTS FROM INTELLIGENCE SERVICES
The 2017 intelligence assessment concluded with “high confidence” that Russia worked to “undermine public faith in the U.S. democratic process, denigrate former Secretary of State Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency” and “developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump.” The NSA diverged on one aspect, expressing only “moderate confidence” that Putin actively tried to help Trump’s election chances and harm those of Clinton.

“I wouldn’t call it a discrepancy. I’d call it an honest difference of opinion between three different organizations,” Rogers told the Senate in 2017. “It didn’t have the same level of sourcing and the same level of multiple sources.”

A 2018 report from the Republican-led House Intelligence Committee concluded that “the majority of the Intelligence Community Assessment judgments on Russia’s election activities employed proper analytic tradecraft” but found the “judgments on Putin’s strategic intentions did not.”

Newly declassified FBI memos detail concerns, payments to Russia collusion informant
2025-04-11
Very long, excruciatingly detailed, link to the newly released 700 pages.
[JustTheNews] Newly declassified documents show informant Stefan Halper was motivated in part by "monetary compensation", was paid nearly $1.2 million from FBI over three decades, and continued snitching even after agents concluded he told them an inaccurate story about future Trump National Security Advisor Mike Flynn.

The nearly 700 pages of once-secret documents, obtained by Just the News, were recently turned over by FBI Director Kash Patel to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan after President Donald Trump ordered them declassified at the start of his second administration.

They provide the most extensive portrait yet of former FBI informant Stefan Halper, a Pentagon consultant and academic who, along with retired British intelligence agent Christopher Steele, was used by bureau agents to build the Crossfire Hurricane case against Trump and his advisers during the end of the 2016 election and the beginning of Trump's first term in office.

The memos confirm Halper was the source of one of the most sensational bogus claims to land in the FBI's probe in summer 2016: that Flynn had left a 2014 foreign meeting alone with Russia scholar Svetlana Lokhova when he was a three-star general leading the Defense Intelligence Agency.

FBI agents ultimately deemed Halper's account to be "not plausible" and "not accurate", but the bureau proceeded to investigate Flynn, kept paying Halper and continued to vouch for his veracity as a confidential human source codenamed "Mitch," the memos show.

The Defense Department inspector general also previously revealed that the Pentagon’s Office of Net Assessment paid Halper $1.05 million for projects he allegedly did for them between May 2012 and September 2016. The Pentagon under Secretary Pete Hegseth announced in March that it was disestablishing the office.

Despite the efforts by the FBI and Halper, a two-year investigation by Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller “did not establish” any criminal Trump-Russia collusion. In addition, DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz found huge flaws with the FBI’s investigation, including criticizing the “central and essential” role of a dossier in the FBI’s politicized surveillance of former Trump campaign associate Carter Page.

HALPER — AND THE FBI — TARGET MIKE FLYNN
At Cambridge University, Halper worked alongside MI6’s Sir Richard Dearlove and MI5 historian Christopher Andrew. Together, they founded and organized Cambridge Intelligence Seminars, including one in 2014 attended by Flynn.

CHS reports show Halper, an academic who long worked for the bureau as a trusted informant, was the original source of a story that Flynn had left a 2014 event in Cambridge, England, with the Russia scholar Svetlana Lokhova while he was still the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency. It was also listed in FBI documents as part of the reason the bureau opened a counterintelligence probe of Flynn. The story was later leaked to the news media and became the focal point of a defamation lawsuit by Lokhova that was dismissed and affirmed by the Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

NYT columnist says liberals need to get 'upset' over the broken promises [0-3] of the Obama, Biden administrations
2025-03-27
[FoxNews] Ezra Klein said the Obama administration was '0-for-3' on the most ambitious proposals in his stimulus package like high-speed rail

New York Times opinion columnist Ezra Klein said Wednesday liberals need to get upset over the failed promises of the Biden and Obama presidencies.

Klein joined California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom's podcast where he talked about his new book with The Atlantic's Derek Thompson, "Abundance," which examines why liberal government isn't delivering and finds it's often their own well-intentioned policies and regulations getting in the way. He said the Obama and Biden administrations suffered from this problem.

"So much of the political theory of the Biden administration was that if you can show liberal democracy can deliver, you will pull people out of wanting these strongmen who say they're going to burn the whole thing down and give you something out of the ashes," Klein said.

He gave the example of the Biden administration celebrating the $42 billion for rural broadband passed in the 2021 infrastructure bill. But with all the multi-stage processes and red-tape, "By the end of the administration, of the 56 states and jurisdictions that were trying to apply for the money, three had made it through."

"If the things don't move fast enough, if they don't get to the people fast enough, it's much harder for liberal democracy to make the case that it delivers," he said.

Klein then recalled a conversation he had with former Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau about California’s high-speed rail effort, which has been in the works for almost two decades with little progress.

"I was saying that, the stimulus bill under Obama, that had three big headline projects for reinvestment," he said. "It had high-speed rail, it had smart grid, and it had a nationwide system of interoperable health records."

"I remember those days," Newsom responded.

"Yeah. 0-for-3," Klein said. "At some point, we gotta be upset about this, you know?"

Trump's Intel Agencies Are Trying To Sabotage Him Again. Will Ratcliffe And Patel Stop It?
2025-03-24
[Federalist] A New York Times report on Thursday is either fake or people at the FBI or CIA ran to the paper to undermine their boss, though there’s no real reason both can’t be true.

Under the headline, "Intelligence Assessment Said to Contradict Trump on Venezuelan Gang," the Times cited unnamed "officials" claiming that the violent Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang, members of which the White House says are illegally in the U.S., is not in cahoots with the origin nation’s government. It’s an assertion in direct contradiction to the administration, which has justified the expedited removal of many illegal aliens by claiming that the Venezuelan government works with the gang to destabilize America.

The report went on to say intelligence agencies "concluded that the gang, Tren de Aragua, was not directed by Venezuela’s government or committing crimes in the United States on its orders," though it acknowledged that the conclusion was made with only "moderate confidence," rather than high confidence. It also said that the FBI dissented with the opinion, claiming that the gang does in fact have "a connection" to the Venezuelan government.

If it’s true, then once again, the intelligence community is using media leaks to thwart Trump’s agenda. The president is right now in a legal dispute with a D.C. district judge as to whether the administration is illegally applying the Alien Enemies Act, which gives Trump the authority to remove illegal aliens from a "hostile nation" without a formal court hearing. That any intelligence personnel are aligning themselves with "the resistance" again is something CIA Director John Ratcliffe and FBI head Kash Patel are going to need to address immediately.

This is from the same playbook used in Trump’s first term. To cripple his presidency, the intelligence community, the FBI in particular, steadily plied all-too-willing reporters at the Washington Post, CNN, and the Times with information that was either wrong, out of context, or, at minimum, in dispute. It worked to stunning effect, keeping the jittery public on edge every single day of those four years, weakening support for effectively everything Trump did. That shouldn’t happen again.

The president’s authority on all things immigration shouldn’t be something that requires a defense — even the far-left 9th Circuit Court of Appeals appreciates extreme "executive discretion" on the issue — especially from this president’s own intelligence agencies.

Fetterman: I fully support partnering with Israel to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities
2025-03-24
The Democrats used to be like him, but then they “evolved”.
[IsraelTimes] "I refuse to turn my back on Israel," the senator from Pennsylvania said, adding that many of his fellow Democrats "have lost their way, but I will continue to be that voice in my party."

Over the last several years and particularly since Oct. 7, 2023, Israel has felt isolated diplomatically. Perhaps most painful for the Jewish state has been waning support among American Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
, once stalwart defenders of Israel.

A near-lone voice from the left flank of the party has been Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman. A towering giant easily recognized by his hooded sweatshirt attire, Fetterman has stood up for Israel time and again when other members of his party refused to do so.

When it comes to Israel, Fetterman is about as hawkish as it gets, willing to support it in its war efforts against Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
and its network of terror proxies, including Hamas
..a regional Iranian catspaw,...
and Hezbollah.

The senator is on his second trip to Israel in the past year, touring the country, including on a Blackhawk helicopter, meeting families of Israeli hostages as well as those who lost loved ones in the war, and taking in Israeli culture, including what he calls "some of the best food in the world."

This time he came on a mission organized by Relief Resources, an organization dedicated to matching up those in need of mental health care with the best available professional for their personal situation.

Fetterman, who was hosted with his wife, Gisele, on Wednesday by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, sat down on Thursday with a small group of hand-picked journalists in Jerusalem to discuss Israel’s war, his steadfast support for the Jewish state and the U.S.-Israel relationship.

SUPPORT FOR MILITARY ACTION AGAINST IRAN
Fetterman was unequivocal when asked about taking military action to eliminate Iran’s nuclear capabilities. "I don’t think you can really effectively negotiate with that regime," he said, suggesting that using military force is the only option.

Pressed further, Fetterman said, "Oh yeah. Blow it up! Blow it up! I think we should waste what’s left of their nuclear facilities."

When asked directly whether he would support the United States joining Israel in such an operation, he confirmed he would back "partnering with Israel in that way... [with] whatever tools from the U.S., I would fully support that. Yeah, so however you describe that partnership, I fully support it," Fetterman told JNS.

"I support that, and I think there is really a once-in-a-generation opportunity to do that after it’s been demonstrated that Iran lacks the capabilities to really project their threats," he added.

DEMOCRATIC PARTY’S HARSH STANCE ON ISRAEL
Throughout the interview, Fetterman expressed deep disappointment in members of his own party who have distanced themselves from Israel.

"My party has, some of them, chosen to back away from supporting Israel," he said. "I’ve always refused to pander to other factions."

He criticized Democrats who attempt to equivocate on the issue, urging them to "stand with civilization, stand with democracy."

Fetterman went on to suggest that "my party was punished" during the recent elections for failing to be "unapologetically supportive of Israel." He pointed to Michigan, a state with a strong Moslem community and a progressive, Paleostinian-American Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib
...the very first ever Paleostinian-American ever sworn into Congress in 2019. She is a member of The Squad and consistently votes against the U.S. national interest. She's a Dem, naturally, from a safe district you wouldn't want to live in (Michigan's 12th congressional district). She wants the country to be kinda like Gaza only without any Jews for neighbors...
as one of the swing states that voted for Donald Trump
...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party...
"How ironic... Does Representative Tlaib just sit there while she [holds a] paddle and yelling during [Netanyahu’s] joint address, when you helped elect Trump. Do you really actually process this?"

CONDEMNATION OF PALESTINIAN LEADERSHIP AND ’PAY FOR SLAY’
When asked by JNS whether the Paleostinian Authority should be classified as a terrorist organization for continuing its "Pay for Slay" policy—paying Death Eaters who attack Israeli civilians—Fetterman’s response was unfiltered.

"That’s disgusting," he told JNS. "I’ve read interviews where one of them, they’re like, ’Hey, that’s controversial to stop paying people that kill innocent civilians.’ What’s wrong with you?"

He added that in the recent negotiations with Hamas to see the release of hostages taken on Oct. 7, "Israel is forced to release prisoners that killed innocent civilians and they are cheered like heroes. I hope Israel never forgets or forgives. I hope they finish them out later."

He also pointed to Paleostinian society’s glorification of violence. "Look at the optics—when they release hostages, they cheer it like a Steeler game. And cheering even a casket of a child that they beat to death. That’s perverse."

STANCE ON HOSTAGES AND ISRAEL’S MILITARY CAMPAIGN
Fetterman was adamant about prioritizing the return of hostages taken on Oct. 7, criticizing members of his party who have focused on advocating for Paleostinian activists instead.

"There are human beings still in tunnels right now as we speak," he said. "And now Israel was forced back to start the kinds of war back in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
. Well, it’s because... Hamas doesn’t want peace. They don’t want peace because they all understand that what they have left is keeping those poor people in tunnels. And that’s outrageous."

When asked by JNS whether he believes there is a moderate liberal force among Paleostinians that could rule Gaza, Fetterman suggested that the Paleostinian people should reject their present leadership amid an integrated regional approach to peace.

With regard to the future of Gaza, he said, "It’s entirely appropriate to hold a lot of those other countries in the region... hold them accountable too."

"Israel should not be forced to fight [alone] and they deserve the kinds of allyship from a lot of these nations where they should all agree, we all need peace. And so for me, what I would like for Gaza is a place where Paleostinians reject the kinds of leadership that they’ve had for I think 17 or 18 years. And they have to turn their backs on and remove [the Hamas] charter that the front and center is destroying Israel as their organizing principle."

Regarding those trying to spin the story to one of Israeli aggression against an innocent population, Fetterman was adamant. "So that’s part of the lie and part of the distortion in American media," he said.

"They have been there for over 500 days. And yet, we have people in my party preoccupied with an activist at Columbia University? That individual gets his meals, a bed, a lawyer, and due process. The hostages have none of that. None."

Fetterman is one of few Democrats to speak out powerfully against the pro-Hamas protests on university campuses and in support of President Trump’s initiative to withhold federal funding as a result.

"For me, Columbia University was kind of ground zero of that monoculture run amuck and allowed antisemitism to take over," he stated. "And now it’s incredibly politically dangerous as a Democrat to support what President Trump did to punish Columbia with about $400 million, and to withhold those things."

He added that to "allow the mob rule is not free speech, creating tent cities to create that kinds of chaos and terrorize Jewish students." Fetterman said that he "met with Jewish students across the country and they’ve reached out and it’s like, they don’t deserve to live like that."

RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL’S PREMIER
Fetterman maintains a strong relationship with Netanyahu. "I was very supportive of the prime minister. Some people might think he’s the wrong leader, whatever. Hey, if you have a choice and our ally, a Democratic-elected leader, well, I’m definitely going to stand on that side."

He was critical of fellow Democrats, including Sen. Chuck Schumer
...Senator-for-life from New York, renowned for his love of standing in front of cameras and microphones. Schumer has been a professional politician since 1975, when disco was in flower, which is 49.29771 years. Senate minority leader as of 2017...
, who refused to acknowledge Netanyahu during a joint congressional address. "That’s pathetic," he told JNS. "Basic courtesy is just saying hello, even if you don’t agree politically. But to refuse to shake his hand—it’s just sad."

In their meeting, the prime minister gifted Fetterman a silver beeper, a symbolic nod to Israeli forces’ efforts in eliminating terrorist leaders. Fetterman embraced the gesture. "Oh, I love it. Thank you!" he said.

ADDRESSING ANTISEMITISM AND PROGRESSIVE POLITICS
Fetterman acknowledged that within the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, support for Israel has waned. He linked this shift to the increasing presence of antisemitism in left-wing political movements.

"More and more, being anti-Israel is becoming part of progressive politics," he told JNS. "That’s pathetic."

He was also blunt about the contradictions within certain activist groups. "You have ’Queers for Paleostine,’" he noted. "Well, don’t find out how that would go for you in Gaza."

While many Israelis consider Fetterman a hero for standing up for Israel, the senator said he didn’t want any such distinction. "I push back that or the word ’courage’ being a senator, that’s not courageous for me. I’m just doing a job and it’s like, these are my values," he said.

"I’ve met people where they’ve lost their husbands, two women, they both have eight children. To me, I describe that as courage. Raising eight children after your husband was lost defending Israel. Or children that are able to play on the same sacred space [a soccer field in the Druze village of Majdal Shams] that [12] children were murdered from a rocket. So to me, that’s courage."

STRENGTHENING U.S.-ISRAEL TIES
Fetterman called for strengthened U.S. support for Israel, rejecting any notion that his party should distance itself from the Jewish state.

"I refuse to turn my back on Israel," he told JNS, adding that many of his fellow democrats "have lost their way, but I will continue to be that voice in my party."

He said his visit to Israel further solidified his beliefs, describing the nation as a beacon of democracy in a hostile region. "People need to see what they’ve created here," he said. "They don’t deserve to have to constantly defend that way of life. And that’s why we must remain one of Israel’s strongest allies."

Government Corruption
More Background on Judge James Boasberg – The Fight Continues
2025-03-20
Masterful.
[ConservativeTreehouse] When you understand how Washington DC Judges view their role and responsibility, then you understand the scale of opposition that President Trump is facing. The false media framework of our "government" only makes the issues worse. So, here’s an explanation of Boasberg v Trump.

In 2016 the DOJ-NSD headed by Mary McCord filed a FISA application seeking a Title-1 search (full and unlimited) surveillance warrant against the leading presidential candidate, Donald Trump. The method to gain the surveillance authority was to use CIA informant Carter Page who had met with the Trump campaign and call Page an "agent of a foreign power."

The FISA Court knowingly and with specific intent approved the Title-1 surveillance warrant which was filed using false evidence (Clinesmith) and sketchy supporting documents (Steele Dossier), no Woods File was attached.

At the time of the application, Mary McCord was acting head of the DOJ National Security Division. McCord was responsible for filing the warrant application. The DOJ-NSD had no inspector general oversight. The targeting of candidate Donald Trump was entirely for political purposes and intents.

After President Trump won the 2016 election, he gave DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz authority to conduct oversight over the DOJ-NSD. IG Horowitz started investigating the FISA application. This is where things get interesting.

The FISA Court (FISC) was exposed by their willful blindness in allowing the Title-1 targeting of Donald Trump.

Justice John Roberts is in charge of the FISC.
The keystone point.
Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts then appointed Judge James Boasberg to the position of presiding judge over the FISA Court (FISC).

Judge Boasberg then selected Mary McCord to be an amicus or advisor to the court as Horowitz was investigating the fraudulent FISA application.

Boasberg put the person who was in charge of submitting the false FISA application in a position to filter the results of the Horowitz investigation of that same FISA application.

In essence, think of this as protecting the Judicial Branch. Justice Roberts appointed Boasberg to defend the FISC from scrutiny. Boasberg then moves Mary McCord into position to defend the FISC from scrutiny (McCord also protects herself).

At the time, Mary McCord’s husband Sheldon Snook was working within Justice Robert’s office.

That’s how John Roberts, James Boasberg and Mary McCord all connect. All the motives and intents go back to that original Title-1 FISA application.

Remember, this was a huge scandal all by itself. The FISA Court permitted a full-throated surveillance warrant against the leading presidential candidate, Donald Trump. The Judicial Branch was intentionally influencing the 2016 election. These are not stupid people; they were not duped, conned or fooled, they knew exactly what they were doing.

After appointing Mary McCord to take up a defensive position for herself and the FISA Court (cover), Judge Boasberg then becomes the presiding judge in the case against the FBI agent who falsified the FISA application, Kevin Clinesmith. Boasberg gives Clinesmith a slap on the wrist and a few months’ probation (more cover).

This is the same Judge Boasberg gave J6 FBI agent provocateur Ray Epps a sentence of probation. This is the same judge who, on his vacation, went to sit in the DC courtroom to observe defendant President Trump who was forced to appear in DC court. This is the same Boasberg who established a horrible precedent by forcing Vice-President Mike Pence to testify before a DC grand jury about his conversations with President Trump (breaking executive privilege).

♦ Now we go back to the John Durham investigation, because Bill Barr had to ask Presiding Judge Boasberg for guidance and direction as the Durham team looked at the FISA application (Title-1 surveillance warrant) against the backdrop of the Obama government targeting Donald Trump.

This is June of 2020, Bill Barr (who was running another cover-up angle) asked Judge Boasberg for guidance on five very specific issues centering around the Carter Page FISA application. Barr asked for legal guidance to assist John Durham in disclosing information in the FISA file & evidence attached to the FISA file.

The five issues all circle around the FBI/DOJ use of the Carter Page FISA application; and, more importantly, the underlying evidence that is attached to the FISA application. [source]

I. DOJ requests guidance for distribution of material due to FOIA demands. FISC gives legal opinion

II. DOJ requests guidance for distribution of material due to ongoing and anticipated civil litigation. The FISC gives legal opinion and expands to criminal litigation.

III. DOJ requests guidance for distribution of material to internal investigative units from the FBI inspectors division (INSD). FISC gives opinion and advice.

IV. DOJ requests guidance for distribution of non-minimized information, and/or, minimized information as part of the ongoing Office of Inspector General oversight. FISC gives opinion and guidance.

V. DOJ requests guidance for distribution of material to John Durham probe, both for criminal prosecution and possible evidence gathering attached to other ongoing investigative needs. FISC gives opinion and guidance.

Now, keep in mind, with hindsight we know the DOJ (Bill Barr) was essentially walking a fine line between uncovering information and trying to protect the DOJ as an institution. John Durham was never approved to investigate the government side of the Trump-Russia collusion nonsense.

At the same time, Judge Boasberg is trying to protect the FISC from their culpability and also protect the FISA Court as an institution. Everyone has an agenda here, and none of them are good.

That leads to Boasberg outlining a cautious approach toward distribution and/or sunlight on what took place. On this issue the court says allowing a target to escape prosecution is part of the penalty upon the DOJ for wrongful assembly; a nice way to cover the issue.

Judge Boasberg does not consider the DOJ is targeting the "assemblers" for their criminal conduct. Rather his response is general toward criminals who were targets of a FISA application assembled with corrupt intent. It seemed a little weird at the time, now notsomuch.

Pages #11 and #12 hit the topic of FOIA production. Boasberg says "some" FOIA requests might warrant document distribution, but not all. However, on the topic of Carter Page getting his FOIA fulfilled, the court supports expansive distribution to Mr. Page alone.

I find the arguments and issues in/around page #14 to be especially noteworthy. In this segment Judge Boasberg is responding to the underlying raw evidence that would normally be used to assemble a "woods file". The court notes the FBI Sentinel system would contain the minimized outcomes (redacted evidence) and this points to a bigger issue.

In response to this inquiry Judge Boasberg notes FBI investigators would have access to the minimized information within the Sentinel system; however, insofar as there was additional inquiry into the raw and non-minimized intelligence, a review and distribution would be permissible so long as there was a strong filter team in place to ensure statutes surrounding FISA securities (minimization requirements) were not violated.

Overall, Judge Boasberg gives permission and approval for all six aspects Bill Barr requested. However, he does so with several legal qualifiers and distinctions which the DOJ was told to observe. Those qualifiers were intended to protect the interests of both Main Justice and the FISA Court from sunlight upon their prior conduct in 2016.

SUMMARY — Judge Boasberg has been demonstrably political in all his determinations going all the way back to his position on the FISC when the FISA application was approved. Boasberg was then moved into position to protect the FISC from the outcome of their Title-1 search warrant approval.

Boasberg then used his position as Presiding FISC judge to protect the apparatus, while using his position as DC Circuit Court Judge to diminish, obfuscate and cloud the severe ramifications from all of the DC effort, including his rulings on the Kevin Clinesmith (FBI Agent) and Ray Epps (FBI Source) cases.

Judge Boasberg sits at the epicenter of a thoroughly corrupt and compromised DC court system.

I like this approach recommended by Hokkada:

..."It’s important to remind people that the inferior courts do not work for or report to the Supreme Court. CONGRESS creates the inferior courts and as such, Congress can eliminate courts, add courts, and control funding of the courts. Congress also can impeach. And a key element of impeachment is the hearings process.

A hearings process that subpoenas Federal district court judges to testify before Congress would cast a lot of sunlight on the corrupt Judicial-Lawfare-Complex. Could the end result be impeachment? Certainly.

But it could also lead to something better in the long run: descope of the Federal court system which has grown bloated, corrupt, and arrogant because it answers to nobody.

They’re the 3rd branch of government for a reason — they are not elected by anyone, and therefore hold the least amount of power when it comes to governance. SCOTUS doesn’t even control their own budget. They can’t levy taxes. They can’t declare war. They can’t decide what constitutes citizenship.

The answer to all of this is sunlight. Simply compel Biasberg to testify in open public hearings about his role in Lawfare and his interpretation of the Federal district court’s ability to direct the actions of the Commander in Chief, issue "nationwide injunctions" and so forth. Then let’s get into his direct role in Lawfare.

Roberts wants to pretend impeachment of Biasberg is about a "political disagreement". But it is not. This is a judicial coup d’etat we are witnessing. And the only way to stop it is to descope the judiciary and limit its ability to issue injunctions.

If crimes are discovered, such as aiding and abetting terrorist organizations, the judges should be removed. Judges can "obstruct justice" too. They are not Jesus in black robes. They are every bit as tempted by corruption — perhaps more so because they are deemed infallible by the Chief Justice — as any politician."...

Judge blocks Trump admin from targeting Democratic law firm after attorneys warn of firm's demise
2025-03-13
[FoxNews] 'It truly is life-threatening,' lawyers for the firm said of the executive order. 'It will spell the end of the law firm.'

A federal judge on Wednesday blocked the Trump administration from enforcing an executive order seeking to penalize Democrat-linked law firm Perkins Coie, siding with plaintiffs from the firm who argued that the order was unconstitutional and a violation of due process protections.

The ruling from U.S. District Judge Beryl A. Howell comes just one day after attorneys representing the law firm Perkins Coie filed a request for an emergency restraining order blocking Trump's executive order from taking force.

Among other things, the order called for the firm's employees to be stripped of their security clearances and banned from accessing government buildings. It also called for the termination of the firm's existing contracts with government clients— actions Judge Howell appeared to agree with.

"That’s pretty extraordinary power for the president to exercise," she noted during the hearing.

Attorneys for Perkins Coie argued that the executive order is a violation of due process protections, free speech, and free association protections under the U.S. constitution, and argued it would effectively force the firm's business to a halt.

"It truly is life-threatening," attorneys for Perkins Coie told the judge. "It will spell the end of the law firm."

Judge Howell appeared to uphold their concerns, noting at one point in the hearing that it "sends little chills down my spine" that the Trump administration moved to label the firm as a threat and deny them access to government entities and businesses.

Lawyers for Perkins Coie argued the executive order would be "like a tsunami waiting to hit the firm" in terms of damaging impact. Already, they said, there is evidence that some of the firm's clients have withdrawn legal work from their firm or are considering doing so, moves they said would cause the firm to lose "signifcant revenue."

The order, signed by President Donald Trump last week, sought to penalize Perkins Coie, which has long represented Democratic-linked causes and candidates, including Trump's former opponent, Hillary Clinton, in the 2016 presidential election.

The firm also played a role in hiring Fusion GPS, an opposition research firm that commissioned the so-called "Steele Dossier" and published it shortly before the 2016 election.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi's chief of staff, Chad Mizelle, appeared in federal court to represent the Trump administration in the lawsuit. The hearing, and rare court appearance from Mizelle, a senior member of the U.S. attorney general's office, comes one week after Trump signed the executive order.

The order, titled "Addressing Risks from Perkins Coie LLP," accused Perkins Coie of "dishonest and dangerous activity" that they alleged undermines "democratic elections, the integrity of our courts, and honest law enforcement," as well as "racially discriminating against its own attorneys and staff" through its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs.

Trump told reporters last week it was an "absolute honor" to sign the order, adding that "weaponization" against a political opponent "should never be allowed to happen again."

However, Perkins Coie attorneys argue the Trump administration has done just that by targeting the firm.

"Its plain purpose is to bully those who advocate points of view that the President perceives as adverse to the views of his Administration, whether those views are presented on behalf of paying or pro bono clients," they noted in the emergency lawsuit.

Attorneys representing Perkins Coie told Howell that roughly 25% of total firm revenue comes from its contracts with government clients, which they noted would be terminated by Trump's executive order.

Notably, this is not the first time the Trump administration has sought to restrict the work of certain law firms he sees as potentially opposed to his interests.

Earlier this year, Trump also issued an executive order targeting the law firm Covington & Burling, which represents former special counsel Jack Smith, who was tapped by Merrick Garland in 2022 to investigate Trump in his handling of classified documents and actions related to the 2020 election.

The order against Covington & Burling was slightly less restrictive, however, and revoked the security clearances of just two lawyers at the firm. Like Perkins Coie, it orderd the review of all the firm's government contracts and clients, though it is unclear if the review has forced any terminations of the contracts.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
Joy Reid has been fired
2025-02-24
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

PJ Media adds:
MSNBC is pulling the plug on Joy Reid’s show, "The ReidOut," as part of a major shakeup, Fox News Digital has learned—and I can’t stop laughing. Honestly, there’s no one more deserving of cancellation. Well, maybe Rachel Maddow... and pretty much everyone else at MSNBC.

According to the report, "The ReidOut" has been struggling to hold viewers, averaging just 973,000 in February 2025—a sharp 28% drop from the 1.3 million it pulled in during the same month last year. Reid has become notorious for her relentless anti-Trump rhetoric and a string of controversial moments.

After the November election, Reid claimed that black women had lost interest in "saving America," blaming their supposed disillusionment on white female voters, who turned out in stronger-than-expected numbers for President Trump.

Just last month, she went even further, outrageously comparing Trump’s immigration policies—and his presidency as a whole—to Hitler
...late Fuehrer of Germany, founder of the Third Reich, currently communing with his pals Himmler and Heydrich. He is reincarnated every few days, sometimes every few hour if it's an election year, as a politician somebody doesn't like...
’s Germany and the Holocaust.

One of the most shocking events in recent media history came in 2018 when Reid famously claimed that homophobic comments on her old blog, "The Reid Report," were not written by her in a story that stunned the TV news industry. She blamed hackers and claimed to enlist the FBI to investigate her implausible claim, but she became emotional on air when her story fell apart.

The MSNBC host then admitted it was unlikely she was hacked, but claimed that she didn’t recall making the offensive remarks, for which she apologized anyway. The bizarre ordeal made her a punchline to many, but she continued to rise up MSNBC’s ranks and emerged as one of the network’s most prominent liberal pundits.

But, don't think that just because they’re letting Reid go means they’re replacing her with a more sensible choice. In fact, Reid’s 7 p.m. slot will be taken over by a trio that sounds like the setup to a bad joke: Symone Sanders-Townsend, a former spokesperson for Kamala Harris
once a marijuana-busting Caliphornia DA
; Alicia Menendez, daughter of the scandal-ridden ex-Senator Bob Menendez; and Michael Steele, the former RNC chair who’s now an MSNBC regular, and sounds more like a Democrat than Republican these days.

According to a source familiar with the plans, Reid will sign off from "The ReidOut" for the last time this week.
