Everyone can go abroad but going out (of the country) is not a solution. Life matters in the country not overseas," he said. "Those who went out of the country, particularly influential figures, can play an effective role if an environment of trust is made," said Mustafa Murtazawi, a political analyst. "Their expertise, experience and knowledge should be used. The situation should be made for them to stay in Afghanistan," said Aziz Maarij, a political analyst. Several explosions and gunshot bursts were heard by sources as the unidentified button men attacked the multi-story Kabul Longan Hotel on Monday, December 12. According to Mujahid, all guests have been moved and no foreigners were killed in the attack. However, we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by... two foreign residents who jumped out the window to escape the attack are injured. 2022-09-28 |
[KhaamaPress] Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... government authorities assert that US drones invaded Afghanistan through the airspace of Pakistain. They claim that Pakistain receives millions of dollars in return. In a meeting commemorating World Tourism Day, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai, Political Deputy of the Taliban government’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, claimed that Pakistain had allowed the US to use its airspace so that American drones could enter Afghanistan. The top Taliban official also said that Pakistain receives a substantial amount of money in exchange for enabling US drones to utilize its airspace to ![]() KABOOM!... Afghanistan. He maintained that they have evidence, and videos, at their disposal to back their claims of how Pakistain has given the US access to its airspace. Although Stanekzai acknowledged Pakistain’s economic crisis, he stressed that it should not exploit Afghanistan’s situation to alleviate its precarious economic situation. Previously, the Taliban Minister of Defense, Mullah Yaqoub Mujahid accused Pakistain of allowing its airspace and territory to be used by the US’s drones. However, there's more than one way to skin a cat... Pakistain refuted the Taliban minister’s claims calling them "conjectural allegations", and a violation of the norms of "responsible" diplomatic conduct. |

Durand Line Fencing 94% Completed: Pakistan | |
2022-01-07 | |
[TOLO] Hmmmm...walls/fences work? Somebody tell Brandon Pakistan's military says that it would complete the fencing along the Durand Line. "The fencing alongside the (Durand Line) is continuing and work is completed 94 percent. Pakistan will finish it. This is good for the security of the people on both sides," said Babar Iftikhar, spokesman for Pakistan’s armed forces. The dispute over the Durand Line between Kabul and Islamabad is apparently escalating. The Islamic Emirate said that the decision over the fate of the Durand Line belongs to the people living on both sides of the line. "The Durand Line is an issue of the whole nation, not the government. It doesn’t belong to the government. We will give the responsibility to the nation, so the nation will make the decision," said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai. Earlier, a video on social media showed Islamic Emirate forces destroying the Durand Line fencing and engaging in a dispute with the Pakistani military. A Pakistan military spokesman said that the fencing was aimed to protect the people along the Durand Line. The Durand Line has been a controversial issue between Kabul and Islamabad for a long time. The former Afghan government also showed opposition to the fencing along the border. "There is a possibility of inflicting damage to Pakistan as well because of this (fencing) issue. Pakistan said it was just an issue in a single area, but it is not, because it (tension on Durand) occurred in Nangarhar, Nimroz, Kandahar and it may occur in other areas. But anyway, there is a need for dialogue," said Tahir Khan, a journalist from Pakistan. "It is a border for us. It is not a line. I am a Pahstun but I accept it (Duand Line) as a border. But the Pashtuns in Afghanistan are my brothers and sisters," said Asif Durani, former deputy ambassador of Pakistan to Kabul. The Pakistan military has been fencing the Durand Line for the past five years. The length of the Durand Line is approximately 2,500 km. The fencing of the Durand Line has also faced a strong reaction from the public in Afghanistan. The video showing an alleged member of the Islamic Emirate destroying the fencing was widely celebrated by Afghan social media users.

Taliban leader demanded more prisoners’ release, removal from sanction list |
2021-05-10 |
[KhaamaPress] Taliban![]() leader Mullah Hibatullah in his annual message before Eid-ul-Fitr called on the United States to implement all aspects of the Doha agreement. Hibatullah stressed the release of remaining detainees, who should have been released three months after the negotiations began, he added that the prisoners have not yet been released. He also demanded that Islamic Emirate’s leadership and officials should be removed from the sanction and reward list. The Taliban leader also warned the United States to honor its obligations under the Doha agreement, and failure to comply with the agreement will put US forces responsible for the consequences. Haibatullah also accused the Afghan government of sabotaging the grinding of the peace processor, he said negotiations are a priority for the Taliban and that the Taliban has appointed a strong team to negotiate with the opposing party. On the contrary, Kabul’s administration has repeatedly tried to sabotage the current political process and the grinding of the peace processor, Taliban leader blamed Afghanistan’s Islamic Theocratic Republic. Taliban’s leader remarks come as battle has raged and fierce festivities are ongoing between both warring parties. Earlier Today, President Ashraf Ghani ...former chancellor of Kabul University, now president of Afghanistan. Before returning to Afghanistan in 2002 he was a scholar of political science and anthropology. He worked at the World Bank working on international development assistance. As Finance Minister of Afghanistan between July 2002 and December 2004, he led Afghanistan's attempted economic recovery until the Karzais stole all the money... blamed the Taliban for Sayed-ul-Shuhada (girls high school) attack in which many civilians including school children were killed and maimed. President Ghani stressed that the Taliban wants to sabotage the grinding of the peace processor in Afghanistan. Tolo News has more from that Eid message. It’s amusing how many misdirections and outright lies can be counted in his paragraphs: Taliban![]() students... leader Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada in an Eid message on Sunday said that "we shall have an Afghan-inclusive Islamic system in which all people shall feel a sense of representation based on their abilities and skills, and none shall have their rights violated." The Taliban leader called on "Afghans in the opposition ranks to end all attempts at continuing the war," saying: "We must unite upon Islamic injunctions and protect ourselves from all discord and prejudice." "The arms of the Islamic Emirate (the term used for Taliban movement) are wide open for all Afghans that have previously stood in opposition to us," he said. "We are extending our hand of amnesty and affection, and inviting them to join the path of truth," Mullah Hibatullah said. Mullah Hibatullah called for the implementation of the Doha agreement and said if the US "fails once again to live up to its commitments, the world must bear witness and hold America accountable for all the consequences." He says they are ready to protect the independence and illusory sovereignty of Afghanistan at any cost. Before this, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai, a top negotiator for the Taliban in Doha, said that the Taliban does not intend to seize power through military struggle. As the timeline for a US-proposed peace conference on Afghanistan in ...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire... approaches, Stanekzai made the remarks during a virtual meeting with envoys from the UN, Norway, Sweden, Germany, US and the UK. Stanekzai clarified that forming a coalition government was not a solution to the conflict, saying there is a need for a strong centralized Islamic government in which the rights of every Afghan citizen is protected, not a few. "The Islamic Emirate does not accept a coalition government. There is a need for a strong centralized Islamic system, a system in which every Afghan sees their rights, not a few people, a system in which the rights of every Afghan national is reflected," said Stanekzai. He also said that the conditional release of 7,000 Taliban prisoners and the removal of names of Taliban leaders from the UN blacklist were key to moving the grinding of the peace processor forward. "Whenever a member of our delegation wants to go and meet our leaders or military commanders, it takes them days and this causes a disruption in the grinding of the peace processor," said Stanekzai, indirectly asking for the removal of Taliban names from the UN blacklist. The Taliban negotiator also made assurances that Afghan women will be allowed to play a role in the political process of the country and that freedom of speech will be included in the framework of Islamic Sharia. "There is a contrast in the Taliban’s words and actions. If the Taliban really wants to prove their words true, then they must engage in purposeful talks and announce a ceasefire," said Ilyas Wahdat, the former governor of Paktika ...which coincidentally borders South Wazoo... "The republic should be supported, both Afghans and foreigners must support the republic. It is very important," said MP Abrarullah Murad. Meanwhile, ...back at the Senate, Odius Sepulcher called for war against the Visigoths... US special envoy Zalmay Khalilzad has said that the US will stand with Afghans who support the Republic if the Taliban do not choose the path for peace. He made the remarks after concluding a trip to the region in which he visited Tashkent, Doha Kabul and Dushanbe. He said that he attended a meeting with their allies in Berlin. |
