MP Receives Death Threats For Israel Support
2012-03-28 | |
Conservative parliamentarian John Howell asked pro-Paleostinian activist about the '100 rockets which hit Israel' earlier this month. A British MP says he fears for his life after receiving death threats for defending Israel in an exchange with a constituent. The Conservative MP for Henley, John Howell, has been offered police protection for meetings with voters after an email exchange with the constituent was posted online. He has also been forced to remove the details of his district offices from his website. Constituents who want to meet him must now call a constituent hotline. Pro-Paleostinian activist Harry Fear, from Watlington in Oxfordshire, sent Howell an email on March 10 asking what he was doing "to see that Israel halts the military actions that are taking place in defiance of international law and basic human decency." A photograph of a building exploding accompanied the email with a caption stating: "Only a few hours ago, Israel felt it necessary to inflict this destruction and death on the [Gazoo] Strip." The photo was in circulation back in 2009 and is completely unrelated to recent events in Gazoo. Responding to the email, Howell said: "And what is your position, Harry, on the 100 rockets which have landed in Israel over the weekend?" Fear posted the question, together with the MP's reply, on his blog and Facebook page. He included the MP's contact details and instructed people write to Howell "civilly, expressing discontent with his conduct." The Conservative MP said he received around 30 emails; some were "worrying." "There are a huge number of emails from pro-Paleostinian and Arab fanatics, some from the UK and some clearly not, some equally threatening," Howell said. One email said: "You will suffer the consequences of this corruption and callousness." There was also a series of emails from some calling himself "Jihad Alshamie," who told him: "It is people like you who deserve to die." "The last thing I want to appear as is a drama queen, but you have to take seriously a threat when it says, 'I would like to see you dead,'" Howell said. "It is not just a question of me, it is my family and my staff. All it takes is one person out there who is weird enough, with a distorted view of life, to make an attempt to carry this out." In 2010, Labor MP Stephen Timms was stabbed at a constituency meeting by Roshonara Choudhry, who was said to have been inspired by radical websites, for his support of the Iraq war. She was found guilty of attempted murder and nabbed for life. Last year, members of the Moslems Against Crusades group made death threats against Conservative MP Mike Freer for his support of Israel, when he visited constituents at a north London mosque. "I have been helped by the House authorities in Parliament, who are assessing the level of risk, and also by Thames Valley Police, who have provided extremely good security advice. If I feel at all unsafe there can be a policeman with me at a surgery [district office]," Howell said. Howell said that Fear was not responsible for the threats but questioned the way Fear interpreted his response. He said he only wanted to address the lack of balance in Fear's email. "My stated position on the Middle East is that in order to have peace we need a secure and universally recognized Israel alongside a sovereign and viable Paleostinian state," Howell said. Continuing to pursue the issue, Fear said that the MP's response was "deeply disturbing" and "latently abusive," as Howell "did not extend me the professional practice (or even human courtesy) of writing a proper and serious reply."
The Zionist Federation of the UK has called for people to write letters expressing support for Howell.

Islamic snuffies using network website MohammedanPrisoner.com to preach hatred from behind bars Abu Hamza, Abu Qatada and Osman Hussain are some of the snuffies using the site Website is used as networking tool for jihadist turbans Posts celebrate murder of innocent people and urge fresh atrocities against the West Inmates urged to lie about their reform to get early release to continue holy war Letters reveal prisoners are radicalising other inmates Ministry of Justice said it recognises risk posed by bad turban offenders Islamic snuffies are using the internet to spread their hatred from behind bars. Dozens of letters written by some of the world's most dangerous snuffies - including those locked up for murderous plots in Britannia - have been published on MohammedanPrisoners.com The hate-filled messages celebrate murder of innocent people and urge fresh atrocities against the West. The website is being used as a networking tool for the jihadist hard boyz - many with links to al-Qaeda - and encourages the public to send emails, with the promise that their letters will be passed onto the inmates. Its users include notorious hate preachers Abu Hamza and Abu Qatada. who was released under strict bail conditions, which include a ban on him using the internet, this month. Leaders of terrorist plots targeting passenger planes and London landmarks are also said to have used the website, including Hussain Osman, nabbed for his botched attempt to blow up Shepherd's Bush Tube station in 2005. It is claimed the website was set up by Abdul Muhid, a member of the banned Al-Muhajiroun group, who has served time in jail for inciting murder and hatred during protests over Prophet Mohammed cartoons. The Sunday Times reported that among messages posted on the website, are some from Abdulla Ahmed Ali, caged for at least 40 years as leader of a suicide plot to blow up trans-Atlantic passenger jets. Ahmed hails the 'humiliating defeat' inflicted on NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's headquartered in Belgium. That sez it all.... forces in Afghanistan by the Taliban. His message - posted last month - read: 'If the mushriks [non believers] can leave their families and sacrifice their lives and limbs to occupy, enslave and oppress the ummah [global Mohammedan community] then we too can sacrifice 100 times that to defend it.' There are also jihadist messages from Bilal Zaheer Ahmad, nabbed last year after calling on Mohammedans to copy Roshonara Choudhry and murder MPs who voted for the Iraq war. Ahmad's letters also includes calls for inmates to lie about their reform so they can be freed early to the continue their holy war and reveal bad turban material is freely available to inmates and that he is in direct contact with Choudhry. Last July he wrote: 'I received a letter from that sister during the week. She said it feels like she was only locked away yesterday and the last year of her life has been the best.' Choudhry, who attempted to murder former Labour minister Stephen Timms, is also reported to have posted on the website, describing the euphoria she felt from having the support of Mohammedans when she was nabbed at the Old Bailey. Another inmate, Hamza Davidson, 34, who is serving a life sentence, is said to have claimed to be studying books by Bilal Philips, a Jamaican preacher who calls for homosexuals to be executed and was banned from Britannia. Other letters reveal snuffies are radicalising other inmates. A Commons select committee report on radicalisation this month claimed one prisoner was persuaded to become a jacket wallah within 72 hours of arriving at London's Belmarsh prison. The website also features jihadist video footage and legal experts have warned the website could have breached laws on inciting terrorism. Labour MP Steve McCabe, who sits on the Commons home affairs committee, said: "Some of this stuff sounds dangerously close to incitement. 'If the prison authorities claim they are monitoring and censoring material, then they are clearly not doing it effectively.' The website was taken down after the newspaper contacted Muhid - but a single homepage remains and features and email address fro people to send their letters, and quotes from the Qur'an. Muhid denies glorifying terrorism, has offered to take down anything amounting to incitement and stressed inmates' letters had to be screened by prison authorities. He said he did not intend to break the law, and added: 'Our role is to connect prisoners with the outside world...increasing the morale of these people.' But Muhid admitted a disproportionate number of letters were sent to inmates with terrorism links and said the only just law is Islamic law. A Ministry of Justice (MoJ) source said prisoners were not able to contribute directly to websites and that the department was aware of it. An MoJ front man said: "The National Offender Management Service (Noms) recognises the risks posed by bad turban offenders and those who seek to radicalise others and takes their responsibility to effectively manage these risks seriously. "Since 2007 a dedicated, expert unit has led a programme of work across prisons and probation to strengthen our response to the threat from these offenders, drawing on our long history of managing terrorist prisoners and other dangerous individuals. "All high-security establishments have a dedicated counter-terrorism unit, and a national unit also exists to analyse intelligence from the High Security Estate. 'Noms' response to the current threat has included staff training in extremism awareness, the ongoing development of interventions designed to assist offenders in disengagement from extremism and the strengthening of the role of the Mohammedan chaplain in prisons.' |

AQAP's Inspire Magazine #4: Steal to Fund War on West
2011-01-18 | ||||
Followers of one of the fastest-growing radical Muslim terror groups are being told to steal, embezzle and seize property -- especially from Americans -- in order to finance their jihad. While Muslim teaching generally forbids theft, the new edition of Inspire magazine -- launched by the group behind the air cargo printer bombs in October, the underwear bomb plot in December 2009 and the most recent pre-Christmas alert -- is now telling followers that such crimes are justifiable, especially if the U.S. government and U.S. citizens are targets. In the fourth edition of the magazine, launched by Al Qaeda in Yemen in July, American-born radical cleric Anwar Al-Awlaki encourages his disciples to fund more attacks through crime. The Middle East Media Research Institute provided Fox News with its copy of the magazine.
"Since this is the case, Al-Awlaki says Muslims living in the West are not bound by any laws or contracts that prohibit them to harm their countries of residence." Intelligence analysts are also keying in on the magazine's emphasis on the recruitment of women as suicide bombers. One analyst who gathers intelligence from publicly available sources told Fox News that the online magazine dovetails with a new Web video where the al-Awlaki's lectures are used to voice over still pictures of women preparing for battle. "The video glorifies the role of Muslim women in battle. Each frame of the lecture is accompanied by women. Each section has a photo of women preparing for battle, carrying arms, as part of terrorist groups," said the analyst, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. "It is definitely a recruiting film for women willing to sacrifice themselves." The video ends with a still photo of the Russian "Black Widow" who blew herself in the Moscow subway March 2010. Analysts also note that the leading articles in the latest edition of the magazine are all written by Americans. In addition to al-Awlaki, there is Samir Khan. U.S. officials believe the North Carolina native is behind the look and layout of the magazine. There is also a piece by Adam Gadahn. The California native is a longtime mouthpiece for the Al Qaeda senior leadership in the tribal areas of Pakistan.
U.S. Jihadist Samir Khan: Muslims Join Jihad Not in Response to Actions by Israel and the U.S., But Because Jihad Is an Individual Duty Jihadi Cleric Anwar Al-Awlaki to Jihadists Living in the West: Obtain Money By Any Means Possible, Especially from the U.S. Government and its Citizens

Man charged over Iraq war MPs list |
2010-11-18 |
(KUNA) -- A 23-year-old man was Wednesday charged with soliciting murder and other offences under the Terrorism Act in relation to a blog listing MPs it claimed voted for the Iraq war, police said. Bilal Zaheer Ahmad, of Wolverhampton, England, was jugged last Wednesday in connection with the website which influenced a student who tried to kill MP Stephen Timms. He was appearing at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court in central London this morning, the police added. Ahmad was charged with soliciting murder, West Midlands Police, central England, said. He was also charged with three counts of possessing information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism under the Terrorism Act 2000. The hit list of MPs who voted for the Iraq war was removed from the orc website revolutionmuslim.com after the Home Office urged the US to act against it. The website hailed the student who tried to kill Labour's Stephen Timms as a "heroine". The site was among those cited as an influence by Roshonara Choudhry, 21, who was jugged for life earlier this month for stabbing MP Timms twice in the stomach at his office. |

Britain urges removal of "MPs hit list" from website |
2010-11-06 |
(KUNA) -- Britain is calling Friday on the US authorities to remove from a "jihadist" website a list of MPs who voted in favour of the Iraq war and an appeal to harm them. A Home Office front man said it was actively working to have the material removed from the site - among those cited as an influence by a student who tried to kill Labour's Stephen Timms. In a post made yesterday, the site lists 395 politicians who backed the 2003 invasion in the House of Commons - many of whom are no longer MPs - and gives advice on finding details of constituency surgeries. It describes as a "heroine" Roshonara Choudhry, 21, who stabbed Timms twice in the stomach at his surgery after watching orc sermons online. She was this week jugged for life with a minimum term of 15 years for attempted murder but the site said it hoped she would inspire others to similar actions. "We ask Allah to keep her safe and secure, to hasten her release and to reward this heroine immensely," the site says. Hundreds of videos inciting violence, including some linked to the suspected al Qaeda criminal mastermind of the cargo plane terror plot, were removed from YouTube yesterday. The clips by Anwar al-Awlaki, a high-profile member of the terror group thought to be behind the cargo bomb plot, were deleted from the video sharing site and more were being examined today. Choudhry claimed to have been inspired by the radical holy man's online sermons. Scotland Yard said it was aware of the website and was "making inquiries". A Home Office front man said: "We should all stand up against orcs, we will raise this with our overseas counterparts to encourage them to remove this content from the website. "We are determined to tackle extremism and always press for the removal of jihadist material on the Internet. Where sites are hosted abroad our ability to close them down is limited." |

Muslims urged to 'raise the knife of jihad' to other MPs on jihadi website
2010-11-05 | |||
![]() It has also published a full list of the MPs who voted for the war along with the statement: 'In their personal website, you can usually find the time and location of their "surgeries", where you can encounter them in person.' Beneath a list of Stephen Timms' constituency surgery times, the website has posted a link to an advertisement showing a three-piece knife set for sale. In a tribute to Choudhry, who was jailed for life this week, the American-run website states: 'We ask Allah for her action to inspire Muslims to raise the knife of Jihad against those who voted for the countless rapes, murders, pillages, and torture of Muslim civilians as a direct consequence of their vote.' Choudhry, who stabbed Labour MP Stephen Timms after making an appointment at one of his weekly surgeries, named the website Revolutionmuslim.com as a source of inspiration for her attack.

Curse the judge, shout fanatics as the Muslim girl who knifed MP smiles as she gets life
2010-11-04 | |
A judge was subjected to a tirade of abuse in his own courtroom yesterday as he jailed an Al Qaeda-inspired Muslim woman for attempting to assassinate an MP. Islamist protesters harangued Mr Justice Cooke from the public gallery at the Old Bailey, shouting 'Allahu akbar' ('God is great'), 'British go to hell' and 'Curse the judge'. The outbursts came as Roshonara Choudhry, 21, was sentenced to life imprisonment for stabbing former minister Stephen Timms. Choudhry smiled broadly as the judge told her: 'You said you ruined the rest of your life. You said it was worth it. You said you wanted to be a martyr.' Much more
