Israel says it has struck Beirut, targeting commander accused in deaths of 12 children and teens

 in the Lebanese capital of Beirut Tuesday — targeting a Hezbollah commander accused in the slaughter of 12 children in a rocket attack over the weekend.

The Israeli military confirmed in an X post that it was behind the strikes, which it says were intended to take out the leader believed to be responsible for Saturday’s massacre at a soccer field in the Israel-controlled Golan Heights.

"The IDF carried out a targeted strike in Beirut, on the commander responsible for the murder of children in Majdal Shams and the killing of numerous additional Israeli civilians," they wrote in a statement.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged a "swift, harsh and painful" response to the vicious rocket attack by Hezbollah, which also injured 40 civilians.

"These children are our children... The state of Israel will not, and cannot, let this pass," he said. "Our response will come and it will be harsh."

At least one person was killed and several others injured in Tuesday’s strike in the southern suburbs of Beirut, an area known as a stronghold for the Iran-backed terror group.

Flights to Beirut airport were canceled starting Monday amid fears of disruptions caused by Israel’s retaliatory strike.

Since the attack on the soccer field Israeli forces have conducted several airstrikes in southern Lebanon, including a drone attack Monday that reportedly killed two Hezbollah operatives.

IDF followed that strike with additional barrages that destroyed several of the Islamist turban group’s weapons caches, as well as infrastructure in Lebanon.

Hezbollah has bravely denied any role in the attack.

Two children killed in London knife attack, UK police say

[IsraelTimes] Two children were stabbed to death at a Taylor Swift-themed event in northwest England, and a 17-year-old male suspect was arrested, police said on Monday.

He was held on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. Nine other children were maimed, six of them critically, and two adults were at death's door.

"We believe that the adults who were injured were bravely trying to protect the children," said Chief Constable Serena Kennedy from Merseyside Police.
It’s apparently the county that contains Liverpool.
She said emergency services arriving at the scene found “multiple people, many of whom were children, had been subjected to a ferocious attack and had suffered serious injuries.”

An advertisement posted online described the event as a yoga and dance workshop for children aged between 6 and 11.

Merseyside Police said the motive for the attack was unclear, but it was not believed to be terrorism-related and they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the stabbings.

Police said armed police arrested the suspect and seized a knife after being called around 11:50 a.m. (1050 GMT) to an address in Southport, north of Liverpool.

A 17-year-old Ali Al-Shakati from Banks has been arrested in connection with the Southport stabbings and is currently in police custody.

The suspect in the Southport stabbings, Ali-Al-Shakati, was on the MI6 watch list and known to Liverpool mental health services. He was an asylum seeker who arrived in the UK by boat last year.

Enemies list? Fed-backed censorship machine targeted 20 news sites

[JustTheNews] Just the News, New York Post, Fox News, Epoch Times and Breitbart were identified among the "most prominent domains" whose election coverage was cited in tweets flagged by the Election Integrity Partnership and its collaborators.

The private consortium that reported election "misinformation" to tech platforms during the 2020 election season, in "consultation" with federal agencies, targeted several news organizations in its dragnet.

Websites for Just the News, New York Post, Fox News, Washington Examiner, Washington Times, Epoch Times and Breitbart were identified among the 20 "most prominent domains across election integrity incidents" that were cited in tweets flagged by the Election Integrity Partnership and its collaborators.

The Washington Post, New York Times and CNN also appeared on the list, though the consortium's after-action report emphasizes most of the mainstream media reports "were referenced as fact-checks" that played a "corrective role" against "misleading narratives."

The report also identified the 21 "most prominent repeat spreaders [of misinformation] on Twitter," all of them politically classified as "right." Actor James Woods led that group, followed by The Gateway Pundit blog, Donald Trump Jr. and President Trump himself. The report emphasized 15 were verified by Twitter.

The Stanford Internet Observatory, University of Washington's Center for an Informed Public, think tank Atlantic Council, and social media analytics firm Graphika claimed their consortium had a 35% success rate getting flagged content removed, throttled or labeled.

The Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the State Department, and liberal groups such as the Democratic National Committee, also flagged purported misinformation through the consortium.

"No news organization should be subjected to an enemies/censorship list for reporting newsworthy facts" Just the News Editor in Chief John Solomon said in a statement. "It's even more egregious that this censorship machinery was prodded, aided and sanctioned by the federal government."

Individuals and organizations named on the lists told Just the News they put no stock in the designations.

"Gateway Pundit is reviewing its legal options," General Counsel John Burns wrote in an email, calling the "fascist, public-private partnership ... a very simple nexus or entwinement case, with deep Supreme Court precedent."

"How is this any different from what happens in Communist Party-controlled China?" publisher Jim Hoft said. "The scary thing is, the EIP is only a single office within the greater government-wide Ministry of Truth."

"We noticed a massive drop off on and around the 2020 elections. It got really bad after [Jan. 6, 2021]," paired with apparent "increased leftwing bot activity," Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk wrote in a text message.

"Compared to my engagement on every other platform, there's no question that this new revelation fits with our lived experience on Twitter," he said. "That tax payer dollars are being spent to censor half the country is a travesty and whoever is behind this must be held accountable."

"The definition of 'disinformation' is now any reported facts that go against the world view of the political establishment," Breitbart News Editor in Chief Alexander Marlow wrote in an email.

The consortium "relies on innuendo and insinuation to imply we are not trustworthy and thus should be censored" rather than accusing Breitbart "of publishing inaccurate stories," he said. The company is being targeted for "having a massively powerful platform that leads the political conversation every single day."

"We're in the middle of what I would call the 'Great Suppression,'" Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton told Just the News. He was suspended by Twitter for several months for comments on hydroxychloroquine.

"Censorship is a civil rights issue," he wrote in a text message. "Not only do we have the right to speak, but we have the right to petition the government and be free from retaliation."

"This is the destruction of American liberty right before our eyes," conservative activist Pamela Geller wrote in an email. She called it "more than just campaign rhetoric ... This is a fascist regime aiming to criminalize political dissent."

Human Events senior editor Jack Posobiec said "the crooked scumbags that run the regime target me so often" because they are "terrified" of him.

"We are not going to stop fighting for freedom until their entire edifice [is] torn down," he vowed.

The consortium report said it identified domains that were "linked to by more than 500 tweets or retweets" in multiple incidents, and further explained the role some of them allegedly played in an appendix on "additional partisan news outlets."

'Judicial Watch Believes The State Dept Spied On Conservative Journalists And Trump Allies

[Townhall] Government watchdog group Judicial Watch last week filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the State Department. The group believes prominent conservative journalists, public figures and those with ties to President Donald Trump were being monitored by the State Department in Ukraine under the direction of ousted U.S. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, who was appointed to her post by President Barack Obama.

"Judicial Watch has obtained information indicating Yovanovitch may have violated laws and government regulations by ordering subordinates to target certain U.S. persons using State Department resources," the watchdog group said in a press release. "Yovanovitch reportedly ordered monitoring keyed to the following search terms: Biden, Giuliani, Soros and Yovanovitch."

Specifically, Judicial Watch believes the following people were being monitored:

Although the watchdog group is waiting for the State Department to return paperwork outlining this specific issue, those on the list aren't surprised at the possibility.

Armed assailant threatens to behead Jewish man in London

[IsraelNationalNews] An Orthodox Jewish man was threatened with beheading after he was confronted by a knife-wielding man in London Monday.

The incident occurred in the Whitechapel section of London Monday morning, when a 34-year-old man accosted an Orthodox Jewish man in his 40s who was walking down the street to his place of work.

The suspect shouted anti-Semitic epithets at the Jewish man, including calling him a "f***ing Jew".

When the suspect drew a knife, the Jewish man began to run, with the suspect chasing behind him, shouting "I’m going to kill you, I’m going to chop your head off."

The Jewish man "saw that he took out a knife and he started running away, he was just running for his life," Barnet Councillor Nizza Fluss told the Evening Standard.

According to a statement tweeted by the Tower Hamlets Police Department, the suspect was later arrested and the knife he used to threaten his would-be victim was recovered.

"At around 10am on 1 July a Jewish man was threatened by another man in Dunbridge St, E1. The suspect was carrying a knife. Police responded + arrested a 34yo man nearby for a racially aggravated public order offence. A knife was recovered from the suspect who remains in jug."

On Sunday, another anti-Semitic incident was reported in London, this time outside of an Orthodox Jewish school in the Hackney district.

Police say a man approached a group of young boys and their mothers outside of a school affiliated with the Satmar Hasidic movement, shouting "I will kill all you Jews."

The suspect attacked one person, the local Shomrim neighborhood watch group reported, before police arrived and arrested the assailant.

Judge Dismisses Lawsuit Alleging FBI Role in 2015 Terror Attack in Texas

[FreeBeacon] A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit by a security guard who was injured during a 2015 terror attack by ISIS radicals in Garland, Texas. Bruce Joiner alleged the FBI was liable, arguing the bureau had prior knowledge of the impending violence and had even helped incubate the idea with attackers, but then failed to stop it.

That was Pamela Geller’s effort. As far as I know, there was not a second one.
ISIS later claimed responsibility, marking the first time the terror group ever carried out an attack on U.S. soil. Simpson and Soofi were fatally shot within yards of where their attack began.

Documents released through other court cases, however, revealed how close the FBI was to the action of the attack, which has since drawn media and congressional scrutiny.

Shortly after the "Muhammad Art Exhibit" event was announced in early 2015, the undercover agent who had been infiltrating the small cell of radicals texted Simpson, saying, "tear up Texas."

Additionally, the undercover agent was in a separate car directly behind Simpson and Soofi when they opened fire and had been taking pictures of the attackers' car just seconds before the shooting began.

When the first shots were fired, the undercover agent fled his own vehicle, but was apprehended by local police, at which point the agent told police he was undercover with the FBI.

Joiner claimed the FBI was liable for his injury and was seeking millions in damages but has consistently maintained that his lawsuit was about getting information from the bureau to uncover the full extent of their actions leading up to the attack.
