Palestinian stone-thrower shot, killed by troops in Jenin refugee camp, IDF says
2026-05-28
[IsraelTimes] Troops opened fire on a Palestinian suspect who threw stones at them during an operation earlier today in the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank, the IDF says.

According to the military, the suspect entered the area where troops were operating and threw stones at them.

“The troops initiated a suspect arrest procedure, during which they opened fire at the terrorist and neutralized him in order to remove the threat,” the military says.

The official Palestinian news agency WAFA identifies the man as Nasser Ali Kamel al-Saadi, 45.

According to WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society says it received al-Saadi’s body and transferred it to the Jenin Governmental Hospital.

There were no Israeli injuries.

Security forces arrest terrorist tied to 2007 West Bank shooting attack

[IsraelTimes] Israeli security forces say they have arrested a terrorist involved in a 2007 shooting attack near the West Bank village of al-Funduq, in which Israeli civilian Ido Zoldan was killed.

According to a joint statement from the IDF, Shin Bet and Israel Police, Shadi Jumaa was arrested in the heart of the West Bank city of Qalqilya following a lengthy intelligence and operational effort by the military, the Shin Bet and the police’s elite Gideonim unit (Unit 33).

The statement says Jumaa had recently been released from detention by the Palestinian Authority, where he had been held until now.

He was transferred to the Shin Bet for questioning following his arrest, the statement says.

2026-02-22
[IsraelTimes] A 20-year-old man is hospitalized in serious condition after being shot in the head by IDF troops in the Palestinian village of Beit Furik, east of Nablus in the northern West Bank, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society says.

Another 16-year-old is also hospitalized after being shot in the leg, according to the Red Crescent.

The IDF does not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Palestinian media reports that the IDF has been operating in the village since this afternoon, after locals clashed with settlers. During the clash, soldiers reportedly detained several Palestinians and also fired at a car, wounding a 14-year-old Palestinian boy, who has also been hospitalized.

The Red Crescent confirmed at the time that it was treating a 14-year-old for bullet wounds.

Red Crescent: 2 wounded, one seriously, by IDF gunfire in southern West Bank
2026-01-28
[IsraelTimes] Two Palestinians were wounded by IDF gunfire, one of them seriously, a short while ago in Dahariya, in the southern West Bank, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society says.

The IDF does not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Red Crescent statement comes after Palestinian media reported clashes between locals and the IDF in Dahariya.

Footage published by some outlets earlier tonight showed two military vehicles driving around a traffic circle in the city, with blasts in the background that the outlets say are caused by stun grenades fired by Israeli troops.

Red Crescent says settlers stoned its medics as they tried reaching West Bank village

[IsraelTimes] The Palestinian Red Crescent Society says its medics were stoned by settlers while trying to reach Khirbet al-Fakhit, one of the hamlets that make up Masafer Yatta south of Hebron, following a settler attack there.

The organization does not immediately say if there are injuries in Fakhit, where Palestinian media reports that settlers assaulted people and set fire to property.

Footage published on social media shows settlers around a flaming structure, reportedly in Masafer Yatta.

Separately, the Red Crescent reports a 13-year-old boy was evacuated to the hospital from the central West Bank’s Qalandiya refugee camp a short while ago after being hit in the foot by live IDF gunfire.

The IDF does not immediately respond to a request for comment on the incidents in Qalandiya or near Hebron.

Red Crescent says 3 wounded by gunfire when IDF thwarted alleged ramming attack
2025-12-31
The moral of the story is: Don’t ram Israelis and you won’t get shot.
[IsraelTimes] The Palestinian Red Crescent Society says three people are hospitalized in serious condition after the IDF opened fire at their car between the villages of Urif and Einabus south of Nablus.

The fourth passenger, who was killed, is identified by the Palestinian Authority as Qays Allan, 20. Allan’s body is still being held by Israeli forces, according to the PA’s General Authority of Civil Affairs.

The IDF said earlier that forces killed a Palestinian who tried to carry out a ramming attack against troops.

The IDF statement did not mention other people being in the vehicle with the suspected assailant. No troops were injured, according to the military.

Palestinian media reports that the vehicle rolled over and caught fire as a result of the IDF gunfire. Footage from the scene shows the flames.

Al Jazeera journalist seen shot and injured at West Bank protest
2025-11-20
[IsraelTimes] An Al Jazeera journalist is shot and injured while covering a Palestinian protest in the West Bank that was dispersed by IDF soldiers, according to AFP journalists who saw the incident.

The demonstrators were protesting their evacuation by Israel from the Nur Shams refugee camp on the edge of Tulkarem in the northern West Bank.

“Al Jazeera cameraman Fadi Yassin was shot in the leg by Israeli forces in the city of Tulkarem,” Al Jazeera, which is based in Qatar, reports.

The journalist was evacuated by ambulance after being shot while working in the middle of a crowd of about 150, AFP journalists report.
"working": covering or leading?
“His condition is stable and we managed to control the bleeding,” Palestinian Red Crescent Society paramedic Abdullah Nairat, who handled the medical evacuation, tells AFP. “A bullet entered his right leg from the outside, passed through, and hit his left thigh.”

Nur Shams residents were demonstrating to return to their homes inside the camp, which was evacuated in early 2025 during an ongoing IDF operation in several refugee camps in the northern West Bank. The military says its months-long operation in the territory’s north is aimed at cracking down on terrorists in the camps.

After gunshots rang out from inside Nur Shams, Yassin fell, AFP journalists report. He was then carried to an ambulance.

IDF soldiers then walked down from inside the camp and began to disperse the crowd, briefly detaining two demonstrators and a cameraman for Jordanian television channel Roya.

When asked for comment by AFP, the IDF says it is looking into the incident.

Palestinians report 23 killed near Gaza aid sites, 6 starvation deaths in past day
2025-08-04
[IsraelTimes] Palestinian Red Crescent Society says 1 worker killed, 3 wounded in airstrike on Khan Younis HQ; Egyptian state media reports rare delivery of diesel fuel to Strip

At least 23 Paleostinian aid seekers were killed by Israeli forces in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
on Sunday, according to hospital officials and witnesses in the Strip, where the Hamas
..the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,...
-run health ministry also reported six people had died of starvation over the past 24 hours. Neither toll could be independently verified.

In addition, the Paleostine Red Islamic Thingy Society said on X that one of its staff members had been killed and three others maimed in an Israeli strike on its headquarters in Gaza’s southern city of Khan Younis. There was no immediate comment from the Israel Defense Forces.

The military said Sunday that it was pressing on with its campaign against Hamas, with troops operating under the 179th Reserve Armored Brigade having recently uncovered what it said was a 300-meter (1,000-foot) Hamas tunnel in the south of the enclave.

The IDF said the brigade, with combat engineering forces and the assistance of the Israeli Air Force, destroyed hundreds of other terror infrastructures in the area in the past two months, including booby-trapped buildings, observation, and sniper posts.

Numerous weapons, including rockets and rocket launchers, RPGs, and assault rifles, were also located, the army said.

Meanwhile,
...back at the pie fight, Bella grabbed the cocoanut cream...
southern Gaza’s Nasser Hospital said Sunday that it had received bodies from multiple distribution sites, including eight from Teina, about three kilometers (1.8 miles) away from a Khan Younis site operated by the US- and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.

Three Paleostinian eyewitnesses, seeking food in Teina and Morag, told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named the shootings occurred on the route to the distribution points. They said they saw soldiers opened fire on hungry crowds advancing toward the troops.

Farther north in central Gaza, hospital officials described a similar episode, with Israeli troops opening fire in the morning toward crowds of Paleostinians trying to reach GHF’s fourth and northernmost distribution point.

"Troops were trying to prevent people from advancing. They opened fire and we fled. Some people were shot," said Hamza Matter, one of the aid seekers.

At least five people were killed and 27 maimed at GHF’s site near Netzarim corridor, Awda Hospital said.

Yusef Abed, among the crowds en route to a distribution point in Gaza, said he had come under indiscriminate fire and saw at least three people bleeding on the ground. "I couldn’t stop and help them because of the bullets," he said.

According to the United Nations
...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks...
, more than 1,300 Paleostinian aid seekers have been killed in Gaza since late May, including over 800 near sites run by the GHF, whose facilities are protected by American contractors, with IDF troops nearby.

The IDF has acknowledged firing warning shots at crowds that get too close to its soldiers but called the UN tallies exaggerated, without providing alternate numbers.

The GHF began operating in May after a nearly three-month aid blockade Israel had imposed on the Strip. The group seeks to circumvent Hamas in the distribution of aid, amid Israeli allegations that the terror group regularly hijacks deliveries under the existing UN-led aid system. The UN and other aid groups have rejected the GHF, accusing it of violating humanitarian principles of neutrality and of putting aid seekers in harm’s way.

The shootings reported near aid sites have come amid mounting international anger as the UN and aid agencies report skyrocketing starvation in Gaza.

According to Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry, the six people who died of starvation in the past 24 hours brought the total of malnutrition-related deaths in the Strip to 175, including 93 children, since the war in Gaza was sparked by the Hamas onslaught of October 7, 2023. The World Health Organization reported 63 malnutrition-related deaths in Gaza in July alone, including 25 of children of whom all but one was under the age of 5.

Israel denies reports of widespread starvation in the Strip and has blamed the United Nations and Hamas of impeding and hijacking aid deliveries, respectively. Last month, in response to the international outcry, Israel vowed to increase the flow of aid, institute 10-hour "humanitarian pauses" in fighting in three Gaza population centers, and facilitate international airdrops of food.

On Sunday, Egyptian state-affiliated news outlet al-Qahera said in an unconfirmed report that two trucks carrying 107 tons of diesel fuel were set to enter Gaza, amid warnings by the Strip’s health ministry that fuel shortages have severely impaired hospital services.

Fuel shipments have been rare since Israel imposed its aid blockade on Gaza on March 2.

The blockade started hours after the collapse of the first phase of Israel’s latest ceasefire-hostage deal with Hamas, amid Israel’s refusal to negotiate the second phase, which would have required it to fully withdrawal its forces from the Strip.

Israel resumed hostilities against Hamas on March 18 and launched a renewed offensive in May with the stated goal of seizing 75 percent of the Gaza Strip.

Negotiations for a renewed ceasefire-hostage deal have faltered in recent days, and some of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition partners have reportedly advocated for Israel to take control of the entire territory.

The war began when thousands of Hamas-led snuffies stormed southern Israel on October 7, 2023, to kill some 1,200 people and take 251 hostages.

Hamas’s health ministry says more than 60,000 people in the Strip have been killed in the fighting so far. The toll cannot be verified and does not differentiate between civilians and fighters.

Israel says it had killed some 20,000 combatants in battle as of January and another 1,600 snuffies inside Israel during the October 7 onslaught. Israel has said it seeks to minimize civilian fatalities and stresses that Hamas uses Gaza’s civilians as human shields, fighting from civilian areas including homes, hospitals, schools, and mosques.

Israel’s toll in the ground offensive against Hamas in Gaza and in military operations along the border with the Strip stands at 459.

Report: Most aid trucks from Egypt to Gaza looted and sold in markets on 1st day of ‘humanitarian pauses’
2025-07-29
[IsraelTimes] More than half the Egyptian aid trucks that entered the Gaza Strip on Sunday were looted by unknown actors and their contents later sold in local markets, according to a report in UK-based, Qatari-owned newspaper Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.

Out of 130 trucks, 73 of them were looted near the Morag Axis, which separates Rafah from Khan Younis and is controlled by the IDF, the report says.

Just 37 trucks arrived at the warehouses of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society and the Egyptian Committee aid group, according to the report.

Another 20 trucks are said to have been returned by Israel to the Rafah border crossing for reasons unclear. There is no immediate comment from the IDF.

Sunday marked the first time Egypt sent aid into Gaza via the Rafah crossing since Israel took control of it in May 2024. It was the first day of Israel’s new aid policy, under which 10-hour “humanitarian pauses” are held in the fighting to let in more aid. The policy was adopted amid mounting international pressure over the hunger crisis in Gaza.

In an interview with The Times of Israel earlier this week, former US humanitarian envoy David Satterfield said that unlike UN aid which is largely accounted for, assistance from the Red Crescent societies is more susceptible to theft by Hamas and criminal gangs.

“The chain of custody from inspection by Israel to distribution sites maintained and documented by the UN and the major international organizations was and is carefully done, as these organizations are all accountable to the funding states, including the US,” Satterfield said.

“While looting and self-distribution disrupt this accountability, the majority of all assistance entered into Gaza by these actors has been accounted for,” he continued. “Palestine Red Crescent Society assistance, in contrast, has zero international accountability.”

Britain
UK pledges over $5 million in aid to Gaza
2025-05-22
They can’t afford their National Health Service bills, nor to man and equip their army, but by Allan they will support Hamas in its war against Israel.
[IsraelTimes] Britain is pledging 4 million pounds ($5.4 million) in humanitarian aid to Gaza, the government says, as its Minister for Development, Jenny Chapman, visits Israel and the West Bank.

“The Israeli government’s failure to allow full humanitarian access to aid workers is abhorrent. Far too few trucks are crossing into Gaza,” Chapman says. “The UK is clear — Israel will not achieve security through prolonging the suffering of the Palestinian people.”

Britain yesterday paused free trade talks with Israel over its new offensive in Gaza, with Foreign Minister David Lammy calling for an end to the blockade of aid.

The British Red Cross will receive the new aid package and deliver it through the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, Britain says.

Israeli military launches ground operation in al-Shujaiya in eastern Gaza
2025-04-05
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has launched a ground military operation in the Ash-Shujaiya area, which is located in the east of Gaza City in the northern part of the sector of the same name. This was reported on April 4 by the army press service.

"In the past few hours, IDF troops have launched a ground operation in the al-Shuja'iya area in northern Gaza with the aim of expanding the security zone," the statement said.

It is noted that during the operation, the Israeli military destroyed numerous fighters and facilities of the Palestinian Hamas movement, including a command and control center for planning and carrying out attacks.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, on April 2, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced the expansion of IDF military operations in the Gaza Strip. Against this backdrop, he called on residents of the Palestinian enclave to begin overthrowing Hamas and facilitate the return of Israeli hostages.

On March 27, the Israeli military launched a ground operation near the Gaza Strip town of Rafah to “expand the security zone.” Later, on April 1, the UN accused the IDF of killing 15 medical workers and rescue workers in the Gaza Strip. Vehicles of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and Civil Defense workers were shot at by the Israeli army in Rafah.

Two Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in Jenin refugee camp
2024-06-07
[GEO.TV] Israeli forces have killed two Palestinians in the occupied West Bank’s Jenin refugee camp, said the Palestinian health ministry and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

Earlier the PRCS said that during their storming of the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, eight Palestinians were injured by Israeli forces’ bullets, reported Al Jazeera.

Palestinians say 3 killed in IDF raid on Jenin; helicopter conducts strikes

[IsraelTimes] Army says it killed several gunmen while carrying out arrest operation in northern West Bank city; helicopter gunship used to provide cover for troops on ground

Israeli forces killed three Paleostinians and maimed at least 13 others in a raid on the northern West Bank city of Jenin Thursday, the Paleostinian Health Ministry and medics said.

The Israel Defense Forces said troops killed several button men and detained a wanted Paleostinian suspect during the raid.

During the operation, an Israeli Air Force attack helicopter carried out strikes in support of ground forces who came under fire by Paleostinian button men, the army said. The IDF has carried out numerous Arclight airstrike

s with helicopters and drones in the West Bank over the past year, and in rare cases, also used fighter jets.

The Paleostinian Red Islamic Thingy said it was treating at least six people who were shot, four who sustained shrapnel wounds and one person who was run over by a military jeep. It alleged its teams were fired at while recovering some of the dead.

The official Paleostinian Wafa news outlet named the three fatalities as Ibrahim al-Saadi, 21, Issa Jallad, 17, and Uday Mara’i, 24. On social media, Mara’i was identified as a member of a local terror group.

The army said the wanted Paleostinian man, who was not named, was handed over to the Shin Bet for questioning. It said he was suspected of involvement in terror activity.

According to Wafa, two people were arrested during the raid.

Jenin, in the far northern West Bank, has been a focal point of raids by the Israeli military, which says the area has become a hotbed for terror groups seeking to attack Israelis.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking at the end of a security assessment on the West Bank on Thursday, said that while Israel was facing "complicated international pressure" it was determined to change the security reality in the area.

"Israel is engaged in a difficult battle on many fronts. We are fighting in the south, we are fighting in the north, we are also fighting in Judea and Samaria," he said, using the biblical name for the West Bank.

In late May, troops conducted a nearly two-day raid in the city to demolish the home of a terrorist involved in the killing of Israeli civilian Meir Tamari in a shooting attack near the settlement of Hermesh in May 2023. Paleostinians reported that 12 people were killed during the raid.

AP reported that eight of the dead were claimed by Hamas
..a regional Iranian catspaw,...
and other terror groups as their button men.

On May 17, a rare Israeli airstrike in Jenin targeted a command room belonging to a local terror network and killed another terrorist involved in the murder of Tamari, according to the military.
