Even Oliver Stone is starting to question the 2020 election
2023-11-26
[American Thinker] Oliver Stone is a Hollywood leftist who has an odd way of being right at times.

His Academy Award-winning JFK was dismissed as a conspiracy theory.

Turns out he was likely closer to right all along -- as Tucker Carlson noted in one of this segments.

That's not the only one. His South of the Border documentary about Latin America's wave of elected leftist dictators was initially criticized as Chavista propaganda, a glossing over of some of the region's worst rulers ... except that if you watch the thing, which I did twice, you realize he did an extraordinary job of revealing these people as the unattractive pigs that they were. Sleazy, covetous, Imelda-like, sidelong, gangsterly ... he actually exposed them in all their glory in a way their worst critics couldn't. That was a useful record of the era.

He's criticized government bureaucracies' demonization of ivermectin and vaccine mandates which is credibility right there.

His criticism of the way the Vietnam War was run by vested interests and swamp bureaucrats was probably spot on, too.

So now he's dropped another truth bomb, or at least is circling around it.

According to RealClearPolitics, which showed a segment and transcript of Stone conversing with Bill Maher:

Continuation of Epstein's list
2023-08-30
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Text taken from a news article which appeared in secreta.com. Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin is in italics.

The American press published a continuation of the list of people associated with the owner of the "island of pedophiles" billionaire Epstein, who was strangled in an American prison and called it "suicide" to ensure the silence of this character.

Continuation of Epstein's list

Some of the most important people in the world are panicking after the news that Epstein's real list of elite pedophiles has been leaked to the Internet, reports Peoples voice.

The document penetrated the network, bypassing the obstacles of the US Department of Justice. It is alleged that employees of the ministry themselves were involved in its publication.

New York magazine presented readers with a list of VIP pedophiles who are known to have dated Epstein but who do not appear in his infamous little black book.

According to the magazine, these are:

- Apollo Global Management co-founder Leon Black;

- President of the College of Bards Leon Botshtein;

- Google co-founder Sergey Brin;

- CIA Director William Burns;

- Professor Noam Chomsky, whose meetings with Epstein included a dinner with filmmaker Woody Allen and his wife Soon-Yi Previn;

- Former First Lady of the U.S. Virgin Islands Cecile de Jong, who is accused of helping Epstein obtain visas for his alleged victims;

- Bill Gates, whose ties to Epstein have been well known for years;

- FedEx board member Joshua Cooper Ramo;

- former diplomat Terje Red-Larsen;

- Chairman of the Edmond de Rothschild group Ariane de Rothschild;

- Goldman Sachs General Counsel Katherine Rümmler;

- JPMorgan CEO Jess Staley;

- Former Secretary of the Treasury Lawrence Summers;

- PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel.;

The list also includes Prince Andrew and former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak.

However, the names of Andrew and Barack also appear in Epstein's black book.

In April, the Wall Street Journal reported on Epstein's very busy meeting schedule.

For just one day, 9/8/2014, he had meetings scheduled with Gates, Black, Rümmler and Botstein, as well as with Hyatt Hotels chairman Thomas Pritzker, media owner Mortimer Zuckerman and adviser Barnaby Marsh.

Previously unpublished documents reviewed by the journal include thousands of pages of emails and timetables dated from 2013 to 2017.

The Times said it obtained Epstein's lists "through a request for public records to the U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General, who sued Mr. Epstein's estate."

The persons appearing in the "mournful" list, one way or another, deny their connection with the pedophile Epstein.

For example, Barack Obama admitted that he often met with Epstein, but never "with girls or minors, or even adult women in an inappropriate context."

But Professor Noam Chomsky said that his connection with Epstein "is none of your business or anyone else's."

The remote Caribbean island, dubbed "Pedophile Island" by Epstein's efforts, hosted many high-ranking officials, bankers, politicians and other persons of power and influence with vicious inclinations.

No wonder Epstein was a regular visitor to the Clinton-era White House.

Link and the list itself includes representatives of the neoliberal globalist elite associated with the Biden administration, this leak is very likely associated with the upcoming US presidential elections, which is already leading to an aggravation of the internal struggle in the American establishment.

Jesse Watters: 'It's Never Been More Clear. Epstein Was an Intelligence Asset.'
2023-05-02
[Gateway] The Wall Street Journal released an explosive report Sunday revealing that Jeffrey Epstein met with multiple left-wing individuals including Joe Biden’s now-CIA Chief William Burns after Epstein was convicted of child sex crimes.

The documents uncovered by the Wall Street Journal were related to Epstein’s private calendar.

In addition to Burns, the infamous pedophile also reportedly met with Bard College president Leon Botstein, former Barack Obama White House counsel Kathryn Ruemmler and professor Noam Chomsky following his conviction of child sex crimes.

While the Wall Street Journal could not prove every single scheduled meeting took place, the report did find Epstein met with Burns on three separate occasions. These meetings were held in Washington D.C. and in Epstein’s home in Manhattan.

CIA spokeswoman Tammy Kupperman Thorp confirmed that Burns met with Epstein in 2014. However, she claimed Burns had no idea who the disgraced financier was.

She also said Burns only met with Epstein because Burns was looking to leave to government sector and wanted advice.

On Monday night Jesse Watters told his FOX News audience that Jeffrey Epstein was clearly an intelligence asset.

WSJ Article On Epstein Calendar-New Names Are Fascinating
2023-05-01
A taste:
[WSJ] Epstein’s Private Calendar Reveals Prominent Names, Including CIA Chief, Goldman’s Top Lawyer. Schedules and emails detail meetings in the years after he was a convicted sex offender; visitors cite his wealth and connections.

The nation’s spy chief, a longtime college president and top women in finance. The circle of people who associated with Jeffrey Epstein years after he was a convicted sex offender is wider than previously reported, according to a trove of documents that include his schedules.

William Burns, director of the Central Intelligence Agency since 2021, had three meetings scheduled with Epstein in 2014, when he was deputy secretary of state, the documents show. They first met in Washington and then Mr. Burns visited Epstein’s townhouse in Manhattan.

Kathryn Ruemmler, a White House counsel under President Barack Obama, had dozens of meetings with Epstein in the years after her White House service and before she became a top lawyer at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. in 2020. He also planned for her to join a 2015 trip to Paris and a 2017 visit to Epstein’s private island in the Caribbean.

Leon Botstein, the president of Bard College, invited Epstein, who brought a group of young female guests, to the campus. Noam Chomsky, a professor, author and political activist, was scheduled to fly with Epstein to have dinner at Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse in 2015.

None of their names appear in Epstein’s now-public “black book” of contacts or in the public flight logs of passengers who traveled on his private jet. The documents show that Epstein arranged multiple meetings with each of them after he had served jail time in 2008 for a sex crime involving a teenage girl and was registered as a sex offender. The documents, which include thousands of pages of emails and schedules from 2013 to 2017, haven’t been previously reported.

The documents don’t reveal the purpose of most of the meetings. The Wall Street Journal couldn’t verify whether every scheduled meeting took place.

Most of those people told the Journal they visited Epstein for reasons related to his wealth and connections. Several said they thought he had served his time and had rehabilitated himself. Mr. Botstein said he was trying to get Epstein to donate to his school. Mr. Chomsky said he and Epstein discussed political and academic topics.

A Military-Intelligence Outfit At Center Of Us Digital Vaccine Passport Drive
2021-10-29
[Free West Media] MITRE has been awarded huge security state contracts to pioneer invasive spy technology, including the implementation of digital vaccine passports.

The organization is a non-profit corporation run by military-intelligence professionals contracted by the Department of Defense, FBI, and national security sector, reported The Grayzone.

MITRE’s effort "to expand QR code vaccine passports beyond states like California and New York" is a public-private partnership known as the Vaccine Credential Initiative (VCI) described by Forbes as a "cloak and dagger [research and development] shop" that is "the most important organization you’ve never heard of".

Elizabeth Renieris, the founding director of Notre Dame and IBM’s technology ethics lab, worries that MITRE would "pursue new revenue streams in healthcare and financial services...privately owned and operated ID systems with profit-maximizing business models threaten the privacy, security, and other fundamental rights of individuals and communities".

In January 2021, several WEF partners, including Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, and other mega-corporations announced the launch of the Vaccine Credential Initiative (VCI) in order to roll out QR code-based vaccine passports across the US.

"A non-profit established by the Rockefeller Foundation and called The Commons Project is leading the lobbying push for digital SMART cards through the VCI it co-founded. And Commons Project CEO Paul Meyer happens to have been cultivated by the WEF as a ’young leader’," according to The Grayzone.

Based in Northern Virginia, the military-intelligence think tank MITRE receives $2 billion a year from US agencies including the US Department of Defense and is run by mostly former Pentagon officials and ex-intelligence operatives. It was founded in 1958 as a joint project of the US Air Force and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to develop "command and control" systems for nuclear and conventional warfare.

Noam Chomsky was incidentally one of their early appointments for the "development of a program to establish natural language as an operational language for command and control".

Thus MITRE’s SQUINT browser plugin app, for example, "enables rapid social media situational awareness of COVID-19-related misinformation for public health officials through crowd-sourced reporting," according to promotional material.

The CIA’s venture capital firm, In-Q-Tel, is also listed among MITRE’s Covid-19 Healthcare Coalition. In-Q-Tel’s VP Dan Hanfling told the Washington Post in September that unvaccinated people should be denied healthcare: "That group of individuals who have willingly chosen not to vaccinate, for illegitimate reasons, it would be fair to place them at the back of the line."

The Washington Post omitted the mention of Hanfling’s affiliation with the CIA and instead it described him as an "emergency physician".

The Chairman of MITRE’s Board of Trustees, Donald Kerr, served as the deputy director for science and technology at the CIA, where he received the CIA Distinguished Intelligence Medal.

Freedom Center Revamps Online Encyclopedia Of The Left: DiscoverTheNetworks.Org
2018-10-15
[FrontPageMagazine] The Freedom Center’s comprehensive and innovative online encyclopedia of the Left, DiscoverTheNetworks.org, has just completed an extensive revision and update. The new DTN is faster and easier to use, its contents more accessible and more pertinent to breaking news, its networks easier to visualize, and its look more appealing.

DTN now has a constantly updated "In The News" feature that uses its encyclopedic contents to add background context to the day’s latest stories. The new and more powerful search engine is front and center, as are a series of five select profiles on timely and trending topics and individuals. A search on a particular topic will bring up not only the entry on that subject but also a linked list of the "known connections" among other leftist organizations and individuals. For instance, a search for the anti-Israel terror group Hamas shows a total of 209 connected profiles including Jimmy Carter, Noam Chomsky, the Islamic Society of North America, and the Muslim Students Association.

For over a decade, DTN has been far and away the best resource for information about the left and how its organizations, individuals and causes collaborate in an assault on American institutions. The producers of Sean Hannity, Lauran Ingraham and other radio and TV shows have referenced it regularly, as have a variety of authors and journalists, legislators and policy makers, students and ordinary citizens anxious to understand the nature of the left and how its juggernaut operates in the political, cultural and social arenas.

DTN is a one stop destination for people who want to discover the truth about the individuals, organizations, and topics that comprise and fuel the left; subjects such as the origins of Black Lives Matter, the background and beliefs of old leftists like Saul Alinsky and new ones like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the sinister operations of George Soros’ "charities" and the unholy alliance between campus leftists and backers of Islamic terror groups. It is the one place a reader or researcher can go to see the links between the people, issues, and groups of the left and understand how these networks combine to make the left a vast conspiracy.

"Discoverthenetworks.org is the brain stem of the Freedom Center," said David Horowitz, founder of the Freedom Center. "The political and cultural issues that are our daily battlegrounds come and go. But the left itself is always with us and has been since the French Revolution. DTN is at the core of our mission: understanding the left’s personality and agendas and how its networks make sure that its sinister ends always justify its sinister means."

The David Horowitz Freedom Center, founded in 1988, is a not-for-profit organization located in Sherman Oaks, California. The Center’s mission is to defend free societies like America and Israel, which are under attack by totalitarians both religious and secular, domestic and foreign.

Noam Chomsky and John Pilger join calls demanding Ecuador stop ‘gagging’ Assange
2018-04-02
[RT] Human rights activists including Noam Chomsky
...intellectual and political theorist of a socialist persuasion. He is noted for being so far out in left field he can't see the shortstop on every issue he pushes...
, John Pilger and Pamela Anderson have published an open letter demanding that the Ecuadorian government restore Julian Assange’s freedom of speech.

The WikiLeaks editor is living in virtual isolation within London’s Ecuadorian embassy after authorities at the State Office scrambled his internet connection. The decision was taken due to Assange’s critical remarks on social media regarding Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont’s arrest.

It’s understood that Assange will not be allowed to see visitors, after the Ecuadorian government said his recent actions had threatened good relations with nations like the UK and Spain.

A host of famous names have now come out in support of the WikiLeaks co-founder, and demanded that the Ecuadorian government reverse their decision to cut his internet access.

"We call on the government of Ecuador to allow Julian Assange his right of freedom of speech," the letter reads.

"[U]nder extreme pressure from Washington and its collaborators, another government in Ecuador justifies its gagging of Assange."

It adds: "This censorious attack on free speech is not happening in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire....
, Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
or China; it is right in the heart of London. If the Ecuadorian government does not cease its unworthy action, it, too will become an agent of persecution rather than the valiant nation.

"If there is no freedom of speech for Julian Assange, there is no freedom of speech for any of us ‐ regardless of the disparate opinions we hold."

Signatories of the letter including academic Noam Chomsky, musician Brian Eno, journalist John Pilger, and filmmaker Oliver Stone. Actress and animal rights activist Pamela Anderson has also endorsed the open letter, along with British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood.

Noam Chomsky: Antifa is a 'major gift to the Right'
2017-08-18
h/t instapundit
The left-wing "Antifa" movement is rising in prominence after clashing with white supremacists in Charlottesville, Va., but one progressive scholar says the anti-fascists feed the fire they seek to extinguish.

"As for Antifa, it's a minuscule fringe of the Left, just as its predecessors were," Noam Chomsky told the Washington Examiner. "It's a major gift to the Right, including the militant Right, who are exuberant."

Black Lives Matter awarded a global peace prize
2017-06-01
[CIRCA] The Black Lives Matter movement will receive a global peace prize from the Sydney Peace Foundation
...according to their website, "The Sydney Peace Foundation was founded in 1998 to promote public interest in peace, justice and universal human rights. It is a not-for-profit organisation at the University of Sydney and is supported by the City of Sydney."
at a ceremony in Sydney in November, Newsweek reported.
Newsweek still exists? I really must pay more attention.
The award will specifically highlight the work of the founding leaders of the activist network, Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza and Opal Tometi.

Past honorees of the award include South African civil rights activist Desmond Tutu, philosopher Noam Chomsky, and former Irish President Mary Robinson.
..conventional SJW choices who have furthered various kinds of evil in the world...
"This is the first time that a movement and not a person has been awarded the peace prize -- a timely choice," the Sydney Peace Foundation said when announcing the award. "Climate change is escalating fast, increasing inequality and racism are feeding divisiveness, and we are in the middle of the worst refugee crisis since World War II. Yet many establishment leaders across the world stick their heads in the sand or turn their backs on justice, fairness and equality."

Fifth Column
At its worst, however, Left Forum is Comic Con for Marxists‐Commie Con, if you will‐and an absolute shitshow of nerds and social rejects.
2017-05-10
[TheBaffler.com] A few weeks back in Manhattan, hundreds of socialists, communists, anarchists, and even few decent “small-d” democrats shuffled into the unlikely venue of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice (ironically, best known as a “cop school”) for Left Forum 2015. If you aren’t up on your radical political symposiums, Left Forum evolved out of the now-defunct Socialist Scholars Conference, which was re-founded in 1981 after the original Socialist Scholars Conference petered out in the 1960s. The SSC grew into the largest, most prominent leftist summit in the United States, though nationwide university cuts eventually curtailed both budget and staff for the event. By 2004 it was renamed Left Forum, and it still commands a big draw: This year’s confab boasted 1,300 speakers and four hundred events under the salient title of “No Justice, No Peace: Confronting the Crises of Capitalism and Democracy.”
Yeah, because democracy is a crisis. Jesus.
At its best, Left Forum remains a reassuring beacon of cameraderie and ambition. In addition to seasoned journalists, organizers and academics, it usually snags a few big public intellectuals, like Noam Chomsky, David Harvey, and Angela Davis, while also peppering the bill with high-profile activists like Harry Belafonte and Michael Moore. The organizers sometimes even lure the odd political success story, most recently Kshama Sawant, Seattle City Council member and open socialist. Generally, both speakers and attendees are smart, friendly, and often quite young and good-looking (if I do say so myself).

At its worst, however, Left Forum is Comic Con for Marxists—Commie Con, if you will—and an absolute shitshow of nerds and social rejects. There are bitter old codgers that will harangue you about a thirty-some-years-old internecine grudge, and there are politically unsophisticated kids with Che Guevara t-shirts and Adbusters subscriptions. There are sanctimonious Trotskyists, ridiculous Maoist Third-Worldists, condescending horizontalist anarchists, smug social democrats and a glut of ardent adherents to similarly esoteric ideological traditions, all competing for the title of Most Insufferable Anti-Capitalist. Left Forum is notorious for grueling Q&A sessions, often with nary a “Q” to be found. People like to demonstrate how many books they’ve read (or worse, have written and self-published) in embarrassing displays of pretension and/or machismo, and cynicism is frequently substituted for insight.

But the grumps and the brats, the blowhards and the sectarians, the narcissists and the pessimists—all of these people are bearable to me, some even charming. No, the worst part of Left Forum is the crackpots, the paranoiacs, the hysterics, and all the other truly dysfunctional personalities attracted by the conference’s most infamous policy: no panel submission will be rejected.
It's good to know that the Left has problems, too.

Noam Chomsky: Trump might stage a terror attack to rally support
2017-03-30
[HOT AIR] Monday the far left site AlterNet published an interview with academic and author Noam Chomsky in which Chomsky warned that President Trump might stage a terror attack on the United States to rally support for his administration. Here’s Chomsky from AlterNet:

I think that sooner or later the white working-class constituency will recognize, and in fact, much of the rural population will come to recognize, that the promises are built on sand. There is nothing there.

And then what happens becomes significant. In order to maintain his popularity, the Trump administration will have to try to find some means of rallying the support and changing the discourse from the policies that they are carrying out, which are basically a wrecking ball to something else. Maybe scapegoating, saying, "Well, I’m sorry, I can’t bring your jobs back because these bad people are preventing it." And the typical scapegoating goes to vulnerable people: immigrants, terrorists, Muslims and elitists, whoever it may be. And that can turn out to be very ugly.

I think that we shouldn’t put aside the possibility that there would be some kind of staged or alleged terrorist act, which can change the country instantly.

Far left academics like Chomsky say ridiculous things on a daily basis. What makes Chomsky's comments particularly dangerous is that his comments are accorded more weight by many on the left.

There have been numerous terror attacks on the U.S. in the past few years, including the Boston marathon bombing, the San Bernardino attack, the Orlando nightclub shooting, the bombings in New York and New Jersey and the Ohio State University attack. That's not even a complete list of terror attacks since 2013. So it's almost inevitable that there will be similar attacks during Trump's term in office. The FBI will do it's best to prevent them of course, but it's likely some attacks will take place. Now Chomsky is introducing the idea that the next terror attack will have bee "staged" in some way by the President himself. And, unfortunately, there will be people who believe it to be true despite the fact there will be no evidence to support it (because it won't happen).

Now Chomsky is introducing the idea that the next terror attack will have bee "staged" in some way by the President himself. And, unfortunately, there will be people who believe it to be true despite the fact there will be no evidence to support it (because it won't have happened).

I have no doubt Chomsky actually believes this proto-conspiracy-theory but it is poison for the body politic. It's no different than the false flag conspiracy stuff promoted by Alex Jones. Indeed, AlterNet has published stories criticizing Jones for claiming terror attacks are false flag events. They ought to criticize Chomsky for making similar claims.
He thinks that because the left would do it.

Evidence Rebuts Chomsky's Theory of Language Learning
2016-09-12
h/t Instapundit
The idea that we have brains hardwired with a mental template for learning grammar--famously espoused by Noam Chomsky of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology--has dominated linguistics for almost half a century. Recently, though, cognitive scientists and linguists have abandoned Chomsky’s "universal grammar" theory in droves because of new research examining many different languages--and the way young children learn to understand and speak the tongues of their communities. That work fails to support Chomsky’s assertions.

The research suggests a radically different view, in which learning of a child’s first language does not rely on an innate grammar module. Instead the new research shows that young children use various types of thinking that may not be specific to language at all--such as the ability to classify the world into categories (people or objects, for instance) and to understand the relations among things. These capabilities, coupled with a unique human ability to grasp what others intend to communicate, allow language to happen. The new findings indicate that if researchers truly want to understand how children, and others, learn languages, they need to look outside of Chomsky’s theory for guidance.
Bye, bye Noam (pleasant).
