'The Hunger Games' in Ukrainian: Bank Secrecy Will Die, and Taxes Will Crush |
2025-07-08 |
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited. by Taisiya Svetlichnaya [REGNUM] The "old shoe tax", when Ukrainian citizens must pay tax on the sale of their worn-out clothes on online flea markets, turned out to be insufficient. The authorities are desperately short of money to support the country, the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance is already giving a forecast for 2026: the budget's uncovered need for money could reach 1 trillion hryvnia, which is almost 24 billion in US dollars. This year, the situation does not look so catastrophic. Despite a 400 billion hryvnia deficit for defense, all other civilian expenditures of the country this year are provided with a reserve. This happened thanks to a $50 billion loan that the G7 countries provided to Ukraine using frozen Russian assets as collateral (Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration Loan or ERA). In addition, the country recently received about $500 million in another tranche from the IMF. But when the Ukrainian authorities are given money, they simultaneously write out new conditions for it. In this, the International Monetary Fund is stronger than anyone else: new structural beacons require the actual abolition of banking secrecy, an increase in tax revenues from businesses and individuals, the abolition of simplified taxation for small businesses, and an increase in utility rates. The list is, of course, incomplete, and the Verkhovna Rada has already taken on some of it, starting with digital platforms. "Among the significant changes in taxes planned for the near future, the only one planned is the introduction of a tax on sales on digital platforms: OLX, Rozetka, etc. But it is planned to strengthen general fiscal supervision and require compliance with the norms that have long been in Ukrainian legislation. If you rent out an apartment, drive a taxi, work part-time as a tutor - be kind enough to pay 18% personal income tax and 5% military tax," explains the head of the Economic Discussion Club Oleg Pendzin. It is worth making a small digression here and recalling that right now Ukraine still has to pay old bills. Back in 2015, when US citizen Natalia Yaresko "successfully restructured" the foreign debt, putting Ukraine on the hook, it seemed to the victorious Maidan that there was still a lot of time ahead and they would not be dragged by the lip anytime soon. The country was in a pre-default state and also wanted an IMF loan. In exchange, the government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk agreed to raise the price of gas for the population to the price of imports, raise the retirement age and taxes. And personally, Yaresko, appointed to the post of Minister of Finance by the Americans, agreed on a wonderful scheme: out of 15 billion dollars of debt, three will be written off, and the repayment of another 8.5 billion will be postponed until after 2020. At the same time, creditors received new securities for $2.9 billion, tied to the dynamics of GDP: the more it grows, the higher the payments. And last year, the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy estimated GDP growth at 3.6%, so creditors took out their shares and demanded payment - it was necessary to urgently declare a default on securities. While Yaresko, aka Natalie Ann, had long since moved to Puerto Rico to set up the same robbery, and from there home to the States. Zelensky also distinguished himself in full. Under him, the country's national debt grew by almost 74 billion dollars. Ukraine borrowed about the same amount (almost 70 billion) over the previous 28 years of its independence under its first five presidents. That is, Zelensky set an anti-record, and it was under him that the debt exceeded GDP for the first time. According to the IMF forecast, by the end of the year it will reach 106.6%, and next year, 2026, it will grow to 107.6% of GDP. At the same time, in 2026, one should not expect generosity in the form of grants, aid, loans, weapons in the previous volumes from "strategic partners". Therefore, despite the fact that there are still six months until the new calendar and budget year, the government of "95th quarter" is trying to find a way out of the situation. But it is not thinking about what to produce and sell, where to find growth points, but is using the old proven method: to squeeze a little more out of citizens who are going to die anyway. So the desires of the authorities, in an unfortunate way for the “ordinary Ukrainian”, successfully coincide with the interests of the IMF. Therefore, literally from July 1, the rules of the game changed in several directions at once. The already introduced tax on sales on personal items marketplaces has been strengthened by restrictions on payments via Ukrposhta, which was used by many small sellers who avoided paying taxes. The maximum amount of cash payment transactions for one calendar month is now 100 thousand hryvnia, and only ten of them can be made per month. You can spend 2.5 times more money through a bank card, but there is a nuance: the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy has already approved bill No. 13 233, prepared by the Cabinet of Ministers, which abolishes banking secrecy. All that remains is to vote. For ordinary people, the news is sad: everyone who opens a bank account or rents an individual safe deposit box will immediately be included in the State Tax Service register. The register will be the same for all types of accounts: card, current, deposit, for securities (when buying government bonds or other securities), electronic wallets. Moreover, not only banks but also non-bank financial institutions, including payment organizations and administrators of electronic money, will transfer data to it. For example, NovaPay of Nova Poshta, which has recently been particularly active in opening accounts for people. The State Tax Service is given the right to fine all these organizations for untimely transfer or refusal to transfer information to the register. And Novaya Pochta, which was also used for a lot of small trade transactions, has already introduced new restrictions on the acceptance and payment of cash on delivery since June 1. If transfers are made regularly and exceed the limits, individuals who are not registered entrepreneurs will have to confirm the legality of the origin of the funds. That is, the parcel will be accepted, and when the cash on delivery arrives, they will ask what the money is actually for. In addition to the tax service, the registry can be used outside of court by law enforcement agencies, the State Financial Monitoring Service, NABU, NAPC, and ARMA (the agency for managing property taken from someone). Strengthening control over citizens' money will also begin in such activities as tutoring, transportation and freight transport, apartment rentals, home sewing, small repair and construction services, etc. Since such a status as "self-employed", accepted in Russia, did not exist in Ukraine until now - all of the above-mentioned activities were in the shadows, and this was one of the degrees of freedom that reconciled Ukrainians with the injustice of the surrounding world. Now they are being asked to pay 23% tax. The "cherry on the cake" in the bill is the so-called institution of informants ("snitches"), that is, people who report to law enforcement and tax authorities about "questionable" actions of citizens. This is where the field for personal revenge, blackmail, and simply for strangling any social protest in the bud is. At the same time, they tightened control over temporarily displaced persons, that is, refugees, people who abandoned their homes in the frontline zone and moved to safer places. Now the Ministry of Finance will check monthly whether they have been outside the country for more than 90 days. If the fact of a long stay abroad is confirmed, then the certificate confirming their status may be cancelled. Meanwhile, it is this certificate that gives the right to certain social payments and other types of assistance. And this is not just a declaration of intent, but a course for the next three years already enshrined in the Cabinet’s budget declaration. The authorities have set a specific goal - to increase the share of taxes from individuals in GDP to 9.1%, which is significantly more than last year's figures. For example, in 2024, this figure was 7.6%, and before the war it was 6.6% of GDP. And the IMF is also demanding the abolition of the simplified tax system, the introduction of a system of funded pensions (when you save for your own pension), and a more complex system of providing social benefits. And yes, an important detail: international aid and even the process of European integration are tied to the bill. They say that Ukraine has nothing to do in Europe if such norms are not introduced. However, adventurers of all stripes, who are now uncontrollably collecting multi-million dollar donations “for the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” “for our brothers,” etc., remain outside the scope of financial monitoring. Among them are the most famous people in Ukraine: extremist Sergey Sternenko, banker Oleg Gorokhovsky, bloggers Igor Lachenkov and Mikhail Lebiga, comedian and politician Sergey Prytula. By the way, the latter recently refused to tell journalists his income, saying that his earnings are his personal business and do not concern anyone. “Nobody cares at all. I don’t look into anyone’s pockets and I don’t let anyone into mine,” said Prytula, whose fund raised 2.1 billion hryvnia in 2024. At the same time, he assures with a straight face that he lives on dividends from securities, monetization of his YouTube channel, and earnings from his wife’s small business. Every penny goes to the army. Although by law a "volunteer" is a public figure, and therefore his income cannot be a secret to society. Just as the earnings of the Lviv invalid Nazariy Gusakov, who raised money for treatment and, as he stated, for helping others like him, and then fled abroad with five million dollars collected from donations, are not considered a secret. There is also no news about increasing taxes for big business. Although the ferroalloy plants of Igor Kolomoisky and Viktor Pinchuk, now the main support of the American Democrats in Ukraine, have increased their export revenues fivefold, replacing sanctioned exports from Russia to European and African countries. It is obvious why they were “drowned” by the 1+1 and ICTV TV channels that they owned, calling for war for all eight years since 2014. But the maximum that the oligarchs face under the new law is the introduction of a register of ultimate beneficial owners of trusts or other similar legal entities. It is needed for the authorities to control the transfer of assets to third parties for management, based on the experience of the tricks of Petro Poroshenko *, who back in 2016 transferred his assets to the Rothschild Trust banking group. No one is particularly concerned about the colorful information about the art gallery of the family of Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov in the USA: there is no house with a swimming pool in Florida or other delights in his declaration. But the head of the parliamentary tax committee, Danylo Getmantsev, speaks with a smart look about the subsistence minimum, which is only 2900 hryvnia (about 5.4 thousand rubles). It turns out that in a country where it is customary to make fun of the "Soviet deficit" and rationing, there is a calculation that a teenager is entitled to only one winter jacket and one demi-season jacket for three years. And no one cares that the young man is growing up quickly. And women were generously given two dresses or two suits for seven years. According to Getmantsev, the minimum subsistence level included in the budget is an "abstract category" because it is impossible to live on this money. "It is impossible to live even on the actual minimum subsistence level, which is 3.5 times higher. This is something from the imagination of the official," the parliamentarian noted, adding that there is no money to increase it anyway. And if earlier Ukrainian migrant workers saved the situation by transferring their earnings to “keep the pants” of their relatives, then since the beginning of 2025, currency transfers to Ukraine have already fallen by 15% - from 4.1 billion dollars to 3.5. People's Deputy Alexander Dubinsky, mercilessly branding the regime from the Lukyanivka pretrial detention center, described the current situation as follows: " First, they will introduce taxes on the sale of used sandals... then an excise tax on soda... then a tax on water. Then - on the air. By controlling the government and the foreign debt of 180 billion dollars, this territory can be effectively depopulated even after the war. Just as a forest is uprooted to plant a field, so the Ukrainians will be removed from here. They are an extra link in the food and business chain of the globalists." Direct evidence of the country's hopelessness in the future was the recent decision by BlackRock to stop searching for investors to invest in the Ukrainian Development Fund. Which once again confirms the forecast: Ukraine will face poverty, devastation, high prices, tariffs and taxes, as well as social vulnerability after the war. The “strategic partners” will wash their hands, and the “little Ukrainian” will be left with a pile of debt obligations, a ruined country and huge cemeteries. |

The Gift that Keeps on Giving - Nearly One-Quarter Of U.S. Public School Enrollment Could Be Anchor Babies
2025-06-06 | |
[Federalist] Returning noncitizen children and noncitizen parents to their countries could save taxpayers hundreds of billions, especially in state budgets. A few simple calculations indicate that as much as one-quarter of U.S. public school enrollment could be anchor babies, meaning children with at least one parent illegally present in the United States. This alone amounts to at least $145.6 billion in public resources diverted from U.S. citizens every year. Here’s the math. In April, the Kaiser Family Foundation estimated that 17 percent of school-age children, or nine million kids, in the United States are children of at least one illegal alien. The New York Times has reported on the estimate. Some of these children are also foreign citizens, while some were born in the United States. Under a longstanding court misinterpretation, being born in the United States currently confers U.S. citizenship. Almost no other developed countries confer citizenship solely by birth location. That’s already one in six kids in the United States who are legally subject to deportation to continue living with their parents. If you also assume that all of this population attends public schools, the percentage is more than 17. That’s because only 80 percent of U.S. kids attend a traditional public school, according to 2024 figures from EdChoice. There were 50 million school-age kids in the United States in 2024, according to ChildStats.gov (adding in the five-year-olds to match the anchor baby age range and assuming there were 4 million of them, an equal age distribution among the 0-5 figure). Eighty percent of 50 is 40, so 40 million of the total 50 million U.S. kids went to public schools in 2024. Nine million anchor babies out of that total 40 million public-school attendees suggests 22.5 percent of U.S. public school enrollment could be anchor babies. WHY THIS IS A REASONABLE FIGURE Yes, these are estimates, and some very broad math. If anything, however, official estimates tend underestimate illegal migration, given its, well, illegal and illicit nature. So it’s absolutely within a reasonable range to assume somewhere around a quarter of U.S, public school enrollment is anchor babies. It’s also fair to assume just about all anchor babies attend assigned public schools, for multiple reasons. First, public benefits are a key motivation for many foreign trespassers, as virtually all come from countries that spend far less on public services, including education. Even Kaiser says, “about three in four (77%) immigrant adults say they moved to the U.S. for a better future for their children.” Plus, as even Kaiser and the NYT acknowledge, illegal immigrant households on average have significantly less income than the average American household. If the average U.S. household would prefer to enroll their children in private schools but doesn’t because of tuition, as EdChoice surveys have shown for years, illegally present foreigners are hardly likely to do so in any noticeable number. HUGE IMPLICATIONS Now for some more math related to the taxpayer costs just of educating these nine million kids who would not be in the United States without lawbreaking. Federal statistics estimate U.S. taxpayers spent an average of $16,280 per student in school year 2020-21, the latest data available. Nine million anchor babies times $16,280 each is $145.6 billion. Per year. Again, this is probably a lowball figure, for several reasons. First, taxpayer spending per pupil is higher today than in 2020, given the vast “Covid” money shoveled out and the resulting inflation pressuring legislatures to raise education spending for “teachers’ salaries” since then. Second, the illegal immigrant population disproportionately hides in higher-spending blue states such as California, Illinois, and New York. New York taxpayers will shell out approximately $35,012 per student in the coming school year. In 2023, California public schools spent nearly $19,000 per student per year. In 2024, Illinois schools spent nearly $24,000 per student. This is another reason U.S. taxpayer spending on students who shouldn’t be in the United States is likely far higher than our $145.6 billion per year estimate. Some might dismiss this astronomical figure as a rounding error in at least the federal budget. (Please, donate such “rounding errors” to my retirement fund!) But every dollar spent on a child who is rightly another country’s responsibility is a dollar not available for an American citizen. Further, this figure extended just seven years — about half of a child’s K-12 experience — totals $1 trillion. That’s half the current federal deficit. A HUGE CHUNK OF STATE BUDGETS The fiscal distortions of just this one cost of illegal immigration are enormous, perhaps especially at the state level. States spend about half of their budgets on K-12, meaning 22.5 percent of fraudulent public school enrollment deprives legislatures of approximately one-tenth their annual revenue. That’s a ton of money not spent on other things taxpayers might prefer instead, including a pretty good tax cut. To take an example: This year Indiana faced a $2.4 billion shortfall out of its $44 billion two-year budget. Indiana still managed to increase K-12 spending by 2 percent to $19 billion over the next two years. Indiana has approximately 1 million K-12 students, so that means it is spending $9,500 per student per year at solely the state level, meaning not including local and federal tax dollars. If the average 22.5 percent of Indiana’s public school students are illegal aliens or their children, sending them to their home countries would alone have nearly solved Indiana’s $2 billion budget shortfall. That would be 225,000 students, at an annual state cost of $2.14 billion. Again, that doesn’t include the local and federal tax costs, which together are about the same amount as state expenditures, meaning it would have saved local taxpayers across Indiana another approximately $2 billion, not to mention all the downstream potential savings in smaller school buildings, less curriculum and supplies, and so on. This means Indiana’s entire 2025 budget shortfall could have been due to the presence of illegal aliens, and solved by sending them where they belong. At the very least, illegal migration was a significant factor in the shortfall the legislature solved mostly with cuts to services and a dramatic cigarette tax increase.

Martha MacCallum Obliterates Condescending Teacher Union Boss Randi Weingarten During Segment on America’s Failing Schools |
2025-04-23 |
[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] One of America's biggest villains received an epic beating on Fox News today when she tried to defend the indefensible and insulted her interviewer. Randi Weingarten, the President of the American Federation of Teachers, is the chief proponent of trapping everyone in failing public schools and refusing to hold crooked school authority figures accountable. She was also arguably the loudest advocate for shutting down schools during the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused irreparable harm to the cognitive development of many children across the country. Weingarten was invited on Fox News's ''The Story with Martha MacCallum'' to discuss the ongoing public school failures and pornographic books prevalent throughout school libraries. Things got heated quickly when MacCallum lit up Weingarten for slamming school choice and for saying we should throw more money at the problem. ''So, if we can find other areas around the country where the proficiency levels are also ABYSMAL and should be embarrassing to every education organization, then we can start making assessments and say it's because of (school) choice or money,'' MacCallum said. ''We know that money does not equate to a better outcome.'' MacCallum cited an example from New Jersey that proves her astute point. Upon hearing this, Weingarten lost her patience and attempted to patronize the Fox News anchor. ''Martha, Martha, sweetheart,'' she began before an angry MacCallum cut her off. ''Don't call me sweetheart!'' MacCallum fired back. EU Pushes Balkans Towards New War, Dodik Seeks Support from Russia and Israel
2025-04-03 | |
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited. by Bogdan Kish [REGNUM] Over the past month, Republika Srpska
![]() On April 1, Dodik held a meeting in the Kremlin with Russian President Vladimir Putin. It is noteworthy that the head of the RS had already visited Serbia, Hungary and Israel before his visit to Moscow, enjoying the support of a number of countries tired of the “rules-based world.” UNTENABLE VERDICT After the BiH court sentenced the leadership of the Republika Srpska, a real hunt began. Due to “disrespect” for the illegitimate “high representative” appointed to oversee Bosnia and Herzegovina after the end of the 1992-1995 war, Dodik was sentenced to one year in prison and banned from political activity for five years. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković and the Speaker of the Parliament Nenad Stevandić were also found to be "guilty". Moreover, due to Sarajevo's inability to arrest the RS leadership, the Serbian leaders began to be accused of "attempting to undermine the constitutional order" of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which resulted in an Interpol request and a ban on leaving BiH. One of Dodik's main allies, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, was the first to react to the verdict, and quite violently: "The political witch hunt against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik is a sad example of how the legal system is being turned into a weapon against a democratically elected leader. If we want to maintain stability in the Western Balkans, this is not our way forward." However, the verdict itself is hardly legitimate. It is not for nothing that the Republic of Srpska has not recognized the activities of the High Representative Christian Schmidt and the Constitutional Court of BiH for more than two years. Schmidt does not have a UN Security Council mandate, as Russia and China have vetoed it. Therefore, the decisions and imposed laws of the self-proclaimed high representative in Banja Luka are simply ignored. The situation is similar with the BiH court. This court is built on the system of "2+2+2+3", it has two representatives of each nation: two Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks, and three foreigners. It is not difficult to guess that the presence of foreigners provides political Sarajevo with the decisions it needs, so the court has long become an anti-Serb (and even anti-Croatian) political instrument within the process of creating a unitary country. "BiH has never emerged from crisis. It is an impossible country, in constant crisis. It emerges from one crisis process and enters another," Dodik said recently. RETURN OF POWERS The political structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina is an extremely complex system, in which, in theory, there should be two entities - the Republic of Srpska and the Muslim-Croat Federation of BiH. The entities have the broadest rights and, in fact, these are two states in one, which is enshrined in the Dayton Peace Treaty. However, Sarajevo, the EU and the US are increasingly unhappy with this arrangement, since the Republic of Srpska is blocking accession to NATO, refusing to impose anti-Russian sanctions and not supporting Ukraine. In fact, they began to take away its powers almost immediately after the signing of peace. This is noticeable in a number of decisions - from the creation of the Brcko district to common institutions of power at the level of BiH. But especially strong pressure began with the coming to power of Milorad Dodik. Under him, the republic began to regain a number of powers, and the sentence to its leadership became the last straw, after which they realized that they had a choice: either to surrender and allow the destruction of statehood, or to fight through legal and diplomatic means. "We are not fighting against BiH and Bosniaks, but we are fighting for our rights, as enshrined in the Dayton Peace Accords," said Milorad Dodik. The leadership of the Republic of Srpska promptly passed laws banning the work of the Bosnian prosecutor's office, court and SIPA intelligence service on its territory, as well as laws on foreign agents and the fight against intelligence activities. At the same time, Milorad Dodik called on Serbs working in the general government bodies to leave them, promising to find them all other jobs. Moreover, the deputies of the National Assembly (parliament) of the Republic of Srpska approved a draft resolution on the beginning of the adoption of a new constitution of the Republic of Srpska, which will give the right to recreate its armed forces, create special services and border guards, form a court and prosecutor's office, and even the right to a confederation with Serbia. Particular attention is drawn to Articles 115 and 116, which state that Banja Luka will have its own army and can both declare neutrality and enter into military alliances with other states. Given the authority of Milorad Dodik and the political majority in parliament, the adoption of a new Constitution is a matter of time. One of the main points of the republican leadership's activities will be the restoration of the border police. Two laws have already been developed and are under consideration by the government. It is worth recalling here that from 1996 to 2000, the border of the Republic of Srpska with Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro was controlled by its own police. The creation of the border service of Bosnia and Herzegovina was initiated by the high representative Wolfgang Petritsch, putting pressure on the then weak Banja Luka. It is noteworthy that the Serbs who worked in the institutions of BiH were given until March 19 to decide whether to transfer to the institutions of the Republic of Srpska. And from that date, all employees of the SIPA special services and the Bosnian prosecutor's office can be detained for working on the territory of the Republic of Srpska. "If something can't live up to Dayton, then we have to be a free state," Dodik said. Despite the constant accusations of "separatism" and "attack on the constitutional order" against the RS leadership, it is Banja Luka that does everything within the framework of the Dayton Accords and the BiH constitution. It does not go beyond what is permitted and uses the broadest possibilities of the internationally recognized documents that were won on the battlefield from 1992 to 1995. It is obvious that the strong position of the republic does not suit either Sarajevo or the US and the EU, so they not only interpret the agreements as they want, but also directly contradict them - the appointment of an illegitimate high representative alone is worth something. ISOLATION HAS FAILED The persecution of Milorad Dodik is just part of a larger EU campaign to combat dissent. Brussels today represents the "war party" and is the main supporter of the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine to the last Ukrainian. However, a number of political leaders in Europe "sabotage" the EU plan, as a result of which the Union openly spat on all democratic processes and moved to a real dictatorship even beyond its borders. The arrest of a presidential candidate in Romania, the detention of the head of Gagauzia, attempts to overthrow the Prime Minister of Hungary, an attempt to assassinate the Prime Minister of Slovakia, unrest in Georgia, the arrest of Marine Le Pen in France and the attempt to detain Milorad Dodik are all links in the same chain. At the same time, arresting the president of the RS turned out to be not so easy. Firstly, the republic has its own police and special forces that report exclusively to it. Secondly, the Bosnian Interior Ministry does not enter the republic. SIPA officially refused to participate in Dodik's arrest, and the head of the special services, Darko Čulum, even moved to Dodik's Interior Ministry. Thirdly, even the EUFOR peacekeeping contingent refused Sarajevo, citing the fact that they do not have the authority to do so. That is why Milorad Dodik feels at ease in Banja Luka and is not planning to run anywhere. Foreign visits, of course, became more difficult after the Sarajevo branch of Interpol issued an international arrest warrant for him. However, even this did not stop Dodik from making four foreign trips in a little over a month. In mid-February, he flew to Hungary on an official visit together with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. After discussing a number of economic issues, the country's President Tamas Sujok presented Vucic with the Grand Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit with a chain and a gold star. Then Milorad Dodik calmly visited Serbia on March 24, the anniversary of the start of the bombing of Yugoslavia, and returned to Bosnia. Sarajevo was, of course, indignant, but there was nothing they could do about it. And even though his own border police is still in the process of being created, there are Serbs working on the border with Serbia, and they will not detain their president. The situation with travel to distant foreign countries has become even more interesting. Milorad Dodik, as before, left BiH unhindered and traveled from Serbia to Israel. He took part in an international conference on combating anti-Semitism, organized by the Israeli Diaspora Ministry, and also held talks with the country's top leadership. The details, unfortunately, are not disclosed, but it can be assumed that Dodik has secured the support of Tel Aviv. It is noteworthy that Banja Luka, unlike Sarajevo, has good relations with it. The Republic of Srpska has long cooperated with Israel on a number of issues, especially in the area of security (due to the threat of Wahhabism) and the study of suffering in World War II (more than 20 years of intensive joint work with the International Institute for the Study of the Holocaust Yad Vashem, cooperation with the Simon Wiesenthal Center, etc.). Israel also rejected all UN resolutions directed against Republika Srpska, and the republic responded by blocking BiH's vote in the UN against Israel. The icing on the cake of Milorad Dodik’s international voyage was a visit to Moscow. It is worth noting that he announced his visits to Israel and Russia long ago. The only question was whether he would be able to leave Bosnia. As we can see, he did. The meeting with Vladimir Putin was already Dodik's 26th. On the Russian side, the president's aide Yuri Ushakov also took part. "Russia is a very important country for the Republic of Srpska, including in the UN Security Council. And it has always been objective. Russia is the guarantor of the peace agreement, and Putin said this at the meeting. Within this framework, Russia will advocate for the cessation and abolition of the work of international institutions, especially the fake high representative or, as he says, the illegitimate representative. He was interested in the details of what we do and how we work," Dodik said. Earlier, the issue of the activities of the EUFOR "peacekeepers" was also raised, as Milorad Dodik wanted to ask Vladimir Putin to veto their activities in the UN Security Council. It is unknown whether this topic was also touched upon. Sarajevo began spreading rumors that Dodik had received Russian citizenship, but this news was quickly denied. It is not yet known when the President of the Republic of Srpska will return to Banja Luka. However, it is certain that Sarajevo, with the assistance of the EU, will do everything to remove him from political activity. Any means will be used: arrest, attempt at a “color revolution,” increased sanctions, pressure through Belgrade, and so on. However, the situation in BiH is such that the potential detention of Dodik threatens a referendum on the secession of the republic he leads from the federation, and this, in turn, could provoke a new war. Do they understand this in Sarajevo and the EU? There are serious doubts about this. But there is absolutely no doubt that the isolation of Milorad Dodik has failed. Banja Luka has excellent relations with Hungary, Russia, Israel, China and, with a little help from them, with the entire “global south”. And the common border with Serbia, which is obliged to help and protect Banja Luka, plays a key role in this. Somalia offers US exclusive control of air bases, ports |

And just like that, Turkey’s investment of time, money, and training is pushed to the back burner. Interesting — contrast with Iraq’s push to get America out as quickly as possible. [ShabelleMedia] Somalia is prepared to offer the United States exclusive control of strategic air bases and ports, its president said in a letter to President Donald Trump...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US... seen by Rooters on Friday. In the March 16 letter, authenticated by a regional diplomat with knowledge of the matter, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said the assets included air bases in Balidogle and Berbera as well as the ports of Berbera and Bosaso. Somalia’s foreign affairs and information ministers did not immediately respond to requests for comments. The offer could give the United States a firmer military presence in the Horn of Africa region as it looks to counter the threat from Islamist Death Eaters in Somalia and across the region. "These strategically positioned assets provide an opportunity to bolster American engagement in the region, ensuring uninterrupted military and logistical access while preventing external competitors from establishing a presence in this critical corridor," the letter said. Berbera is in the breakaway Somaliland ![]() region, meaning the offer for the port and air base there would put the government there and Somalia on a collision course. "What cooperation? The USA gave up this corrupted regime called Somalia. The USA is now ready to deal with Somaliland, who has shown the world to be a peaceful, stable, and democratic nation," Abdirahman Dahir Aden, Somaliland’s foreign minister, told Rooters. "The USA is not stupid. They know who they need to deal with when it comes to Berbera port," he added. Somalia opposes any move for Somaliland to be recognized as an independent nation. Senior Hamas official killed in targeted strike on Gaza hospital as IDF widens offensive
An Israeli ... KABOOM!... on a Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppressionand disproportionate response... hospital killed a senior member of Hamas ![]() ’s political bureau Sunday night as the military moved to expand its renewed offensive across the Strip. Israel said it used precision weaponry to target and kill Ismail Barhoum at Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis, referring to him as a "key Hamas terrorist," as the Paleostinian terror group confirmed his death and said he had been undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in a previous strike. The strike was one of dozens reported across the territory Sunday and into the early morning hours of Monday, with a separate strike in the Khan Younis area reportedly killing a senior Hamas education official. The IDF also indicated it was preparing to expand ground operations, redeploying an armored division that had been stationed on the border with Leb ...Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects.... Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed the widening of the offensive in a statement hailing the killing of Barhoum. He described the Hamas official, a member of the terror group’s political bureau previously involved in financing its activities, as "the new Hamas prime minister in Gaza, who replaced Issam Da’alis, the previous prime minister who was eliminated a few days ago." He was at least the fourth member of Hamas’s political bureau killed since Tuesday, when Israel resumed airstrikes in the territory after an impasse over continuing a ceasefire. Earlier Sunday, an Israeli airstrike near Khan Younis killed Salah al-Bardawil, another senior member of its political bureau. Out of the 20 members of Hamas’s political bureau elected in 2021, 11 have been assassinated during the war in Gaza. Seven are either certain or highly likely to be outside the Gaza Strip. The Israel Defense Forces said the strike was carried out following "an extensive intelligence-gathering process," and that a "precision munition" was used to mitigate harm to civilians. The attack was caught on camera by both Al Jazeera and BBC Arabic. Footage from the scene following the blast showed that the hospital building was largely undamaged in the strike, except for fire blazing in one section off a stairwell. Paleostinian health officials claimed the attack killed at least five people, and footage on social media appeared to show people extricating bodies and injured people from the rubble. "The Hamas terrorist organization exploits civilian infrastructure while brutally endangering the Gazook population. The cynical use of an active hospital as a shelter for the planning and executing of murderous terrorist attacks is in direct violation of international law," the IDF statement read. The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry said the strike hit the surgery department at the hospital, and a Hamas source told AFP that "Barhoum was receiving treatment after sustaining critical injuries in an airstrike targeting his home in Khan Younis at dawn last Tuesday."
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... , which placed sanctions on him last year. In a separate announcement on Sunday, the IDF and Shin Bet security agency said two senior Hamas military wing commanders had been killed in recent airstrikes in the Gaza Strip. According to the army, Ahmad Salman ’Awj Shimali, the deputy commander of the Gaza City Brigade, and Jamil Omar Jamil Wadiya, the commander of the brigade’s Shejaiya Battalion, were killed in airstrikes in recent days. The military did not detail where or when they were killed. According to the IDF, Shimali was "responsible for operations, planning the offensive strategy and building the brigade’s force in preparation for Hamas’s brutal massacre on October 7, [2023]," and during the war, he was responsible for the deployment of the brigade’s force. Wadiya took over the Shejaiya Battalion after his predecessors were killed in December 2023, according to the army. On December 2, 2023, the IDF killed Shejaiya Battalion commander Wissam Farhat and, a week later, it killed his replacement Emad Qariqa. "Wadiya was responsible for deploying the battalion’s forces against IDF troops and operated to restore and reorganize the battalion," the military said. The statement added that Wadiya was also involved in a 2011 anti-tank missile attack on an Israeli school bus driving near the Gaza border. The attack killed 16-year-old Daniel Viflic. On Monday morning, Gazook media sources reported that overnight strikes had also killed Manar Abu Khater, director of education at the eastern Khan Younis education directorate for the Strip’s Hamas government, among others. A deadly strike was also reported in the Nuseirat area of central Gaza. MAJOR MOBILIZATION OF TROOPS TO GAZA Following the killing of Barhoum, Katz said that the ongoing offensive against Hamas was "expanding," vowing that Israel would continue its strikes until the 59 hostages still held by forces of Evil in Gaza are released. The IDF said Sunday that thousands of troops were preparing to join military operations in Gaza, ramping up the military’s renewed ground offensive against the terror group, which has thus far been carried out with relatively limited forces. The army’s 36th Division, which spent months in the north and took part in a ground offensive against Hezbollah in Lebanon, was redeployed to the Southern Command and had begun preparations for military operations in the Gaza Strip, the IDF said. Currently, only the IDF’s Gaza Division and 252nd Reserve Division are carrying out operations inside the Gaza Strip. The move would add thousands of more troops to the offensive. Israel has threatened to expand operations in the Strip as it seeks to pile pressure on Hamas to free hostages still being held in the Strip. According to a report by Channel 12, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir was pushing to widen the military’s renewed offensive, citing Zamir as telling political officials in recent meetings that "Hamas is stalling for time, it’s a strategy, not a tactic." "The IDF’s operation hurts [Hamas] and causes some movement, but it doesn’t lead it to release the hostages," Zamir reportedly said. "Therefore, there is no choice, the pressure must be increased." Despite the resumption of military activity in the Gaza Strip, the IDF Home Front Command on Sunday said it was further easing restrictions on civilians in southern Israel. Following an assessment, the Home Front Command said it has adjusted the activity scale permitted in the Gaza border communities from "partial activity" to "full activity," meaning there would be no restrictions on schools and workplaces. Over the past week, schools and workplaces were only allowed to open if an adequate bomb shelter could be reached in time. Gatherings were still limited, however, to 2,000 people in several communities close to the Strip. Gatherings had been capped at 500 indoors and 100 outdoors over the past week. There have been just two rocket attacks from Gaza since Israel resumed its military campaign. Hamas on Thursday launched three long-range rockets at central Israel, and on Friday it fired two rockets at the southern coastal city of Ashkelon. NEW BODY FORMED TO ENABLE ’VOLUNTARY’ DEPARTURE OF GAZANS On Saturday night, the security cabinet approved a suggestion by Katz to establish a new administration in the Defense Ministry tasked with enabling Paleostinians to "voluntarily" leave the Gaza Strip. In a statement Sunday morning, Katz’s office said the new directorate would work to "prepare for and enable safe and controlled passage of Gaza residents for their voluntary departure to third countries, including securing their movement, establishing movement routes, checking pedestrians at designated crossings in the Gaza Strip, as well as coordinating the provision of infrastructure that will enable passage by land, sea and air to the destination countries." The head of the directorate will be selected by Katz soon, his office said. The statement added that the efforts to enable Gazooks who seek to migrate from the Strip to do so are being carried out "subject to Israeli and international law, and in accordance with the vision of US President Donald Trump ...Oh, noze! Not him!... "We are working with all means to implement the US president’s vision, and we will allow any Gaza resident who wants to move to a third state to do so," Katz said. The military resumed fighting in Gaza last week at the instruction of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who vowed that all negotiations for a hostage deal moving forward would be held under fire after Hamas rejected proposals to extend phase one of the previous ceasefire.

Germany: Conservatives scrutinize state support for NGOs |
2025-03-03 |
If America gets to rein in their NGOs, maybe Germany should look into theirs, eh? Good for the CDU/CSU! [DW] Germany's conservative CDU/CSU bloc is questioning the political neutrality of some NGOs. That could weigh on relations with its potential Social Democrat coalition partners.Over the past few weeks, hundreds of thousands of demonstrators erupted into the streets to protest against the conservative Christian Democrats ![]() white people, white supremacy, whiteanything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nastyto the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... (CDU) after they voted through proposals for stricter migration policies together with the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. By so doing, the demonstrators said, the CDU had torn down the "firewall" between traditional parties and the far right that has long prevailed in Germany. The protests were organized by a range of NGOs such as "Omas gegen Rechts" (Grannies against the Right), the environmental group NABU or "Munchen ist bunt" (Munich is Diverse). Many of the associations and initiatives involved in the protests are financed not only by donations and member fees but also by state subsidies. Charitable organizations are also eligible for tax breaks. But legally, their situation is a tightrope walk because they are permitted to be involved in social issues but not to take sides in party politics. CONSERVATIVES QUESTION STATE SUPPORT Now, if the CDU and CSU are to be believed, some NGOs have violated this principle with their protests. For this reason, the CDU/CSU finance expert, Mathias Middelberg, announced in a newspaper interview in mid-February that he would be "very critically" scrutinizing federal support programs about who was benefiting from them, and looking at potentially cutting them altogether. The conservative bloc is following through on his words. It has put in a parliamentary request for information to the federal government. It said the request was made because of the protests against the CDU, "which were partly organized or supported by charitable associations or state-financed organizations." The 32-page inquiry contains 551 questions about altogether 17 NGOs. ”Gotcha!” POLITICAL NEUTRALITY: A QUESTION OF INTERPRETATIONIn its inquiry, the CDU/CSU parliamentary group refers to an article in the conservative-leaning German daily Welt in which several experts on constitutional law expressed very critical views about the demonstrations. "Associations that helped organize 'firewall' demonstrations did not act on a charitable basis," argued Volker Boehme-Nessler from Oldenburg University. "The demonstrations were one-sidedly political. They were directed concretely against one party, the CDU." Indeed. Dietrich Murswieck, a legal expert who taught at Freiburg University until 2016, is of a similar view."If a nature conservation group protests that a parliamentary resolution ignored the 'firewall,' it has nothing to do with its charitable purpose of protecting the environment," he said. But Maximilian Schiffers, a political scientist from the Duisburg-Essen University, has a very different take on the precept of political neutrality, which is also a subject of debate in expert circles. "It doesn't mean that organizations have to be neutral on political issues. They are just not allowed to campaign for a particular party," he told DW. HUMAN RIGHTS AND CONSERVATION: POLITICALLY NEUTRAL ISSUES? According to Schiffers, even the German constitution is not neutral, "particularly when human rights ...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you... , civil liberties, environmental and climate protection and the participation in democratic decision-making processes are concerned." In view of this, civil society organizations did not have to be neutral either, Schiffers said. The Society for Civil Rights (GFF), which is financed by donations and member fees, is also on the side of those criticizing the way the conservatives and the AfD closed ranks for the vote in parliament. "It is always possible to support democratic principles and objectively examine positions taken by a party that are problematic from the point of view of constitutional law," it said in a blurb. The GFF stressed that such actions were even desirable to enable the open democratic discourse reflected in the German constitution, or Basic Law. ATTEMPT AT INTIMIDATION? The organization Reporters Without Borders (RSF), which fights for press freedom across the world, has been even more explicit in its criticism of the action taken by the CDU/CSU bloc. The director of its German branch, Anja Osterhaus, accused the conservatives of trying to intimidate critical voices from civil society. Although she conceded that parliamentary inquiries by parties were an important monitoring mechanism, she said it was "worrying that the CDU/CSU parliamentary group used this means to demand information on media organizations that are known for their investigative journalism." The CDU/CSU inquiries include questions about German media organizations Correctiv and Netzwerk Recherche. In early 2024 Correctiv, which also receives money from the state, reported on a meeting in Potsdam attended by right-wing holy warrior and conservative figures. The gathering was allegedly held to discuss plans to carry out mass deportations of people with an immigration background from Germany. The revelations triggered mass demonstrations nationwide against right-wing extremism and the AfD. SPD PARLIAMENTARY LEADER CALLS 'FOUL' The debate on state support for charity organizations is also damaging relations between the CDU/CSU bloc and its potential partners in a coalition government, the Social Democrats (SPD). On Friday, the first exploratory talks between the parties were held in Berlin following the February 23 elections. Lars Klingbeil, who co-leads the SPD and heads its parliamentary party, accused the CDU and CSU of "foul play." "The Union [CDU/CSU bloc] should do some soul-searching very quickly about whether it will stick with that," he said. But the words of the conservatives' parliamentary leader, Thorsten Frei, give no reason to believe that it will. Frei told public-service broadcaster ARD that no one wanted to intimidate anyone but that it was "normal" to watch where and to whom public monies and tax cuts were going. That is the conservative way. |

''King Kong'': World's largest water buffalo is six feet tall |
2025-02-14 |
"It's almost as big as Stacey Abrams!" Named King Kong, the majestic buffalo, is a resident of the Ninlanee Farm in Nakhon Ratchasima and is almost 20 inches taller than the average adult water buffalo, the Guinness World Records stated. Owner Suchart Booncharoen said it was expected of King Kong to grow to this massive size as he was huge at the time of his birth and that is why he was named after the iconic gorilla from the film, according to UPI. An employee of the farm, Cherpatt Wutti, said despite King Kong being of an intimidating size, the buffalo is quite friendly and playful. "He is very obedient. He loves to play around, he loves to be scratched, and running around with people," she said. "He is really friendly and it's like having a big, powerful puppy on the farm," she added. |

The Global Web: How USAID Ruled the World, and Can It Live Without It |
2025-02-07 |
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited. by Nikolay Antonov [REGNUM] The fewer days remain before the "starvation death" of the recipients of USAID grants, the more interesting details emerge about who actually received them. The matter has already reached such monsters as the media company Politico, The New York Times and Associated Press. What can we say about the Ukrainian dog Patron, who sadly admitted on his page in a social network that "my cartoons, comics and books became possible thanks to the support of USAID." ![]() The huge web that ensured US influence, the implantation of the narratives they needed, and the management of public opinion was created over decades through huge budgets. But this was not just a cashbox for distributing money, but a complex system that formed controlled elites, undermined state institutions, and prepared the ground for revolutions. But how exactly did it work, where did it come from and why is it under attack today - we will figure it out further. FACTORY OF "COLOR REVOLUTIONS" When the John F. Kennedy administration created the U.S. Agency for International Development in 1961, the publicly stated goal sounded noble: to help Third World countries combat poverty, develop infrastructure, and improve their quality of life. But the real meaning was different. USAID was originally a scalpel in the hands of the CIA, a subtle instrument for adjusting the political landscape of the world. The Cold War was in full swing, and the United States watched with alarm as the USSR effortlessly expanded its influence. Former French and British colonies in Africa were becoming independent one after another, and with independence came socialist self-awareness. Latin America was erupting with hotbeds of left-wing radical movements, and pro-Soviet governments were rising in Asia as well. The Americans needed a means that would allow them not only to counteract these processes, but also to covertly control regimes, pushing them in the right direction. However, traditional methods – coups with the help of the CIA, financing military juntas and political assassinations – by that time no longer always worked. The world was becoming more sensitive to open interference. Thus, the idea of “soft power” was born in the White House, which would later become the foundation of American geopolitics. The agency was supposed to become not only a donor, but also a curator. To create an environment in which politicians, journalists, activists and businessmen needed by the US would receive advantages over others. And this machine started up with amazing efficiency. A CLASSIC EXAMPLE IS CUBA. In the 1960s, the United States failed to directly intervene militarily on the Island of Freedom (the famous “Bay of Pigs Operation”), but this did not mean abandoning subversive activities. The new tool began to finance Cuban media (including illegal radio stations), which reported on the “real” state of affairs under Castro. In the 2000s, the agency went further and launched the “Cuban Twitter,” the social network ZunZuneo, which was planned to become a platform for coordinating protests. To avoid suspicion, the financing scheme was hidden through Panamanian offshore companies and shell companies in Liechtenstein. Another example is Chile, 1973. The government of Salvador Allende, the democratically elected president, took the socialist path, which enraged Washington. USAID, together with the CIA, began investing in the “democratic opposition”: grants were received not only by opposition politicians, but also by trade unions, entrepreneurs, newspapers, and student movements. So when General Augusto Pinochet staged his coup, everything was ready for it: the new press had already formed public opinion, the trade unions were divided, the younger generation saw salvation in the military dictatorship. In Guatemala, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Bolivia, the agency worked through networks of NGOs, universities, youth movements, thus creating a “parallel society” that could be activated at the right moment. But the real evolution of USAID began in the 1990s, when the USSR collapsed. America realized: there was no longer a need to play hide and seek, it was possible to enter post-Soviet countries openly, in the format of “developing democracy.” FAVORITE BRAINCHILD Ukraine can rightfully be considered one of the main USAID projects, brilliantly adjusted by the “revolutions” in 2004 and 2014, and then finally consolidated by 2019, the year of the last elections. Here, American specialists created a controlled society, where every significant element of the system — from the media and courts to ministries and the president — was somehow connected to the donor structure. The history of Ukraine's dependence on USAID began long before the Maidan. Already in the early 1990s, the first programs for "democracy development" entered the country through the agency. Grants were distributed generously: first for reforms, then for support of "civil society." And by the early 2000s, the agency was already directly managing entire sectors of Ukrainian politics and economics. The first big test of the system was 2004 – the “orange revolution”, created, financed and brought to a victorious end by Western structures. By that time, the grantors had already been working closely for several years with journalists, activists and politicians who were soon to become the “face of change”. In 1999, the agency began supporting Ukrainska Pravda, an online publication that became the main mouthpiece of the “progressive forces” attacking the power of President Leonid Kuchma. Dozens of other independent media outlets, from regional publications to national channels, were formed with money from USAID and the Soros Foundation. A separate important area is “civil society.” Grants for systemic development were received by youth movements such as “Pora,” which literally copied the Serbian “Otpor,” the organization that led to the overthrow of Slobodan Milosevic. USAID, together with the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and Open Society, financed “activist trainings,” taught how to properly organize protests, conduct information attacks, create a “crisis of trust” in the government, and raised opinion leaders. “Independent” media outlets spread scandals about “falsifications,” hundreds of activists organized protests, and special structures provided legal protection for those “victimized by the government.” Victor Yushchenko, brought to power through street protest, was a convenient figure: a man of the West, an economist with American connections, who worked in the Ukrainian National Bank with the support of international structures. Under him, the US received a completely controlled administration, but all the work had to be started again when Viktor Yanukovych came to power and began to restore ties with Moscow. This was unacceptable for the United States, and they began to prepare a new coup, which was supposed to be final. By 2013, Ukraine had created a system of governance that worked like clockwork. The USAID budget in the country at that time amounted to hundreds of millions of dollars, which supported almost all leading publications and TV channels. At the same time, the Americans grew “independent” anti-corruption organizations, which after the coup in 2014 would become full-fledged (and parallel) government bodies, like the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU). Legal control: In 2013, USAID began funding the DEJURE project, which took control of the judicial system. Through this mechanism, the “right” judges were appointed and those who could interfere were eliminated. An entire generation of future managers also grew up on grants, one of whom, journalist Mustafa Nayem, was the first to call for people to go to Maidan in November 2013. And then he became a people's deputy of Ukraine and deputy minister of infrastructure. When the protests began in 2014, the US did not even have to intervene much – the mechanism was already in place. “Independent” media created the necessary picture, activists filled the square, controlled courts blocked the government’s decisions, and anti-corruption structures “legitimized” any accusations against it. The new government in Kyiv immediately signed all the agreements Washington needed, opened the doors to Western corporations, began a policy of breaking with Russia and moving to the rails of a new ideology. And with the departure of USAID, Ukraine lost access to billions of dollars in infusions, the media found themselves on the brink of survival, and anti-corruption structures were left without funding. Panic began in a country built on grants and managed manually. The only question now is who will be the first to admit that the entire Ukrainian “independence” is nothing more than an artificially created product that was supported by foreign funding. TRUMP, UKRAINE AND COVID-19 A separate page in the Ukrainian project is how a fully controlled system was used as a tool in the fight against Donald Trump. It was through Ukrainian grant structures that materials about the “connections” between Trump’s campaign headquarters and Russia were distributed, it was Ukraine that became the main supplier of compromising material for the Democrats, and it was through the hands of its “activists” that the Joe Biden administration dealt blows to its opponent, similar to the neutralization of the head of the Trump campaign headquarters, Paul Manafort. In 2016, The New York Times, citing the Ukrainian NABU, reported that the name of Manafort was mentioned 22 times in the “black ledger” of the Party of Regions of former President Yanukovych. He allegedly received $12.7 million in cash from the party’s coffers. And now it turns out that the newspaper, the anti-corruption structure, and the “activists” who stirred up the scandal were all on the payroll of USAID. An amazing coincidence. And when the world plunged into the chaos of the pandemic in 2020, the American economy finds itself in deep crisis, millions of people lose their jobs, the stock market collapses, and the main victim is once again Donald Trump. His key trump card in the election, a successful economy, evaporates before our eyes. But the real story comes later. Democrats are using Covid as an excuse to launch mass mail-in voting, a scheme that gave Biden seven million “surprise” votes that ultimately gave him victory. How is this connected to USAID? Very directly. It was through the agency that hundreds of millions of dollars were allocated in 2019–2020 for “pandemic projects” related to monitoring, control, combating “disinformation” and “educating the public” about vaccination. Moreover, while the US was engulfed in BLM protests and devastating lockdowns, it was USAID that funded Democrats’ preparations for mass mail-in voting. Through organizations affiliated with the agency, methodological recommendations were developed, tools for digital control of ballots were developed, and activists were trained who would later provide the Democratic Party with the votes it needed. Now we are told that the agency has been pouring millions of dollars into biolabs around the world. Through grant programs, it has pumped money into projects related to the study of coronaviruses, funding research that was directly or indirectly aimed at manipulating pathogens. Back in 2009, USAID launched the PREDICT program, one of its key initiatives officially aimed at “monitoring potential zoonotic disease threats.” Under the auspices of combating future epidemics, active work began with biolabs around the world. Among the project’s partners was EcoHealth Alliance, an organization that has donated millions of dollars to the Wuhan Institute of Virology since 2014. This money went towards “enhancing the functions” of coronaviruses, which in scientific language means creating new, more dangerous strains. By 2017, a USAID report clearly states that the PREDICT program had “successfully identified and classified 1,200 new viruses.” Among them were several strains of coronaviruses that, as it now turns out, may have served as the basis for the development of COVID-19. Interestingly, the PREDICT program was shut down in 2019, a few months before the pandemic broke out. Why? According to the official version, funding for the project was stopped due to “achievement of key goals.” But if you remember that the pandemic began right after that, it seems that the goals were actually achieved — and “monitoring” turned into a real global epidemic. It is not surprising that one of the first targets of the Republicans was USAID, now openly called a "criminal organization." Obviously, the current US president has every reason to take it under control. And this is far from just the liquidation of one organization. We are talking about dismantling the system of shadow control over entire states, which has accumulated colossal experience in management. So the question naturally arises: will the countries that have lived under his hand for years really be able to gain independence? |
