Pakistan's Atrocities and War on Its Own People |
2025-05-29 |
[PJMedia] A large part of the world is focused on the conflicts unfolding between Hamas![]() and Israel as well as Ukraine and Russia, with international observers closely scrutinizing these two wars. However, women are made to be loved, not understood... the plight of civilians who have been enduring extreme suffering for decades, such as in the remote areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... in Pakistain, largely goes unnoticed by the same level of sharp scrutiny from Western eyes. In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, documented attacks by Pak forces in May and April demonstrate the scope of violence against civilian populations. On May 19, for instance, a dronezap attacked North Wazoo, murdering four young children. Six people, three children among them, were maimed when mortar shells fired by Pak security forces hit houses in Tirah from May 5 to May 8. Other events included quadcopter drone attacks in Shawwal and a landmine blast in Tehsil MadaKhel, Waziristan. The latter killed one young man. The May 11 quadcopter drone attack in JaniKhel, Bannu, injured eleven women and five children. Operations in Betni Area, Tank, on May 9 resulted in the deaths of three young men and one injured. A separate mortar shelling incident in Tirah Valley on May 9 murdered a woman, completing a week that left dozens of civilians dead or maimed. Meanwhile, ...back at the pound, the little lost dog backed into the corner and showed its teeth. And what big teeth they were!... residents of Tirah Valley staged a protest demonstration against the murder of a 12-year-old girl in a mortar fire in April. All these incidents and more make a significant point that the Western world has remained oblivious to the use of modern weaponry, including armed drones, by the Pak state against its own citizens. These Pak drones are largely procured from ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... and China. They appear to be rigorously tested by targeting the country's own civilian population in these areas. This causes not only immense loss of lives and property but also instills a perpetual sense of fear in the minds of residents, including children. Pakistain's use of drone technology against its own population began during Operation Zarb-e-Azb ..the Pak offensive against Qaeda in Pakistain and the Pak Taliban in North Wazoo. The name refers to the sword of the Prophet (PTUI!)... , when the military first acknowledged using armed Burraq UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) in 2015. While officials described the move as counterterrorism operations, civilian casualties from these strikes have created resentment among affected communities. A March 2025 drone attack in Mardan that massacred eleven people, including women and kiddies, resulted in the government’s acknowledgment of "collateral damage" only after local protests demanded compensation for the victims' families. A recent dronezap in northwest Pakistain's Mir Ali murdered four children and maimed five others, prompting thousands of residents to stage protests by placing the children's bodies on the main roads as a symbol of their demand for justice. Local communities have responded with organized resistance, led primarily by the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM). From February through May 2025, PTM organized demonstrations across the region, beginning with protests at Bakka Khel camp in Bannu on Feb. 3, followed by a Jirga gathering at Tirah Maidan, Khyber, on Feb. 15. The movement expanded with the "Aman Quami Pasoon" protest in Wana, South Waziristan, on Feb. 18, continuing with demonstrations at Qambarabad Market, Bara, on Feb. 22. A sit-in protest at Jani Khel, Bannu, on April 25 led to the ongoing protest at Army Cantonment Mirali that began on May 19. This protest involved PTM leaders, tribal elders, and various political parties. The situation in Balochistan presents perhaps the most systematic documentation of human rights ...which often include carefully measured allowances of freedomat the convenience of the state... violations. The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons has recorded approximately 7,000 cases of enforced disappearances since 2004, while the government's own Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances listed 2,752 active cases as of January 2024. The significant disparity between these figures and official government claims suggests the deliberate underreporting of the crisis. The recent bombing of a school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan, which massacred five people — including three girls — and maimed 53 others, mostly children, exemplifies Pakistain's reflexive strategy of deflecting blame for its internal failures. The Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) attack targeted innocent children traveling to school. Within hours of the massacre, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement accusing foreign powers of orchestrating the assault without providing any evidence to support these claims. This pattern of shifting blame has become a familiar response whenever Pakistain faces scrutiny over violence against its own civilians. Pakistain's heavy-handed approach against its people is largely driven by its failure to provide equitable governance to populations across the country. The majority of the population in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan live in abject poverty, deprived of even basic facilities such as functional medical or educational institutions. Incidentally, several schools and colleges in Balochistan have been closed for at least the last six months on government orders. This order serves as collective punishment for people who are demanding basic civil liberties and human rights as promised in the country's constitution. Pakistain's willful neglect of certain regions within its borders is reflected in several international indices, including Amnesty International reports and various human rights assessments that consistently highlight the deteriorating situation for civilians in these areas. The systematic targeting of civilians extends far beyond isolated incidents, with documented evidence revealing a disturbing pattern of state-sponsored violence across multiple provinces. Meanwhile, ...back at the pound, the little lost dog backed into the corner and showed its teeth. And what big teeth they were!... the discovery of over 200 decomposing bodies on the rooftop of Nistar Hospital in Multan ...Home of the Multan Sultans... in 2022 has raised serious questions about the treatment of unidentified individuals in state custody. Many activists believe these remains may belong to political activists who disappeared from Sindh and Balochistan. The additional discovery of 168 unidentified bodies in Punjab ...1. Little Orphan Annie's bodyguard 2. A province of Pakistain ruled by one of the Sharif brothers 3. A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots .... suggests this may represent a broader pattern that requires investigation. The international community has begun to take notice of these developments through various human rights reports and documentation efforts. However, women are made to be loved, not understood... the level of international attention and intervention remains limited compared to other global conflicts. Pakistain's strategic importance in regional politics and its nuclear capabilities may contribute to the relatively muted international response to domestic human rights concerns. |

Yasir, Ubaid give Multan Sultans first victory in PSL X |
2025-04-23 |
[GEO.TV] Mohammad Rizwan-led Multan![]() Sultans grabbed their first victory in the Pakistain Super League (PSL) 10 by defeating the Lahore Qalandars in the 12th match of the tournament played at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. Chasing a daunting 229-run target, the visitors could only accumulate 195/9 in their allotted overs despite Sikandar Raza's half-century. The Qalandars got off to a decent start to the pursuit with openers Mohammad Naeem and Fakhar Zaman putting together a brisk 38-run stand. The blazing start was soon hindered as Naeem fell victim to Michael Bracewell in the fourth over after scoring a run-a-ball 11. |

TTP fighters kill 11 Pakistani Security Personnel |

[KhaamaPress] Sources report that fighters from the Tehrik-e-Taliban ...Arabic for students... Pakistain (TTP) killed 11 Pak security personnel in different areas of North Wazoo. According to reports, the TTP fighters involved in the attacks on Thursday, December 26, were from the group of Hafiz Gul Bahadur ...a member of the Madda Khel clan of the Uthmanzai Waziris. Educated in a Deobandi madrassa located in Multan, he is affiliated with the Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) political party. Upon the formation of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in December 2007, he was announced as the group's overall naib amir under Baitullah Mehsud, who was based in South Wazoo, but has largely distanced himself from the TTP due to rivalries with the Mehsuds and disagreements about the TTP's attacks against the Pak state.. The reports also added that the attacks took place in the Mirali area, specifically in the Khaiderkhel, Khadki, and other regions, with at least 16 other security personnel reported injured. The Pak government has not yet made any statements regarding the incident. Earlier, the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistain (TTP) carried out an attack on a security checkpoint in South Waziristan, killing 16 Pak security personnel. Pak officials have consistently claimed that members of the TTP find safe haven in Afghanistan. However, a clean conscience makes a soft pillow... the Afghan Taliban has denied these allegations made by Pak authorities. Meanwhile, ...back at the pond, the radioactive tadpoles grown into frogs. Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesperson for the Taliban, stated that at least 46 people were killed in the attacks, the majority of whom were women and kiddies. The ongoing airstrikes and cross-border conflicts between Pakistain and Afghanistan continue to cause significant loss of life and highlight the growing security challenges in both countries. The fact that civilians, including women and kiddies, are often caught in the crossfire underscores the devastating impact of such military actions on non-combatants. The increasing violence in regions like North Waziristan highlights the fragile security situation in Pakistain’s tribal areas, where turban groups like the TTP continue to operate with relative freedom. These deadly festivities not only undermine the stability of the region but also place civilians at great risk, caught in the crossfire between Death Eaters and military forces. Pakistani airstrike in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa kills civilians |

[KhaamaPress] A report states that Pak military ![]() KABOOM!... s targeting Tehrik-e-Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... Pakistain (TTP) positions in Bannu, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, have caused civilian casualties. Three Mighty Pak Army personnel, including an officer, were reportedly killed during the operation. The festivities between the military and TTP forces have been ongoing since midnight. The Pak military deployed helicopters along with both light and heavy weaponry to strike TTP strongholds in the area. Some Bannu residents claim that military aircraft attacked civilian areas, resulting in civilian casualties. The Pak military has not officially commented on civilian losses, though military sources confirmed the deaths of three army personnel, including an officer. Reports indicate that early in the morning, Pak forces attempted to surround Hafiz Gul Bahadur ...a member of the Madda Khel clan of the Uthmanzai Waziris. Educated in a Deobandi madrassa located in Multan, he is affiliated with the Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) political party. During the operation, a military officer named Atif and his soldiers were ambushed by TTP fighters, prompting the use of helicopters to break the siege. the report added that non-combatants were killed, and several homes were damaged in the crossfire. The exact number of civilian casualties remains unconfirmed. Two TTP snuffies have been confirmed dead in the fighting so far. The situation has added to the tensions within the region. This escalation in hostilities comes as the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) has recently called for the military and TTP to vacate Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. In a recent assembly, PTM members resolved to take action if both forces do not withdraw from the region. The continuing festivities have heightened tensions in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, leaving local residents in a vulnerable position amidst the violence. The need for a peaceful resolution and immediate protection for civilians is becoming increasingly critical as the conflict unfolds. |

Pak Institute for Peace Studies reports surge in terrorist attacks in Pakistan |
2024-09-04 |
Pakistan’s ISI cultivated jihadis pretty much since Pakistan's founding as a deniable instrument of state. Now they’re paying the price, poor darlings. [KhaamaPress] Pak Institute for Peace Studies (PIPS) reported an increase in terrorist attacks across Pakistain in August compared to the previous month, with 84 individuals killed as a result of these attacks. The institute, in its report released on Tuesday, September 3rd, stated that at least 166 others were maimed in terrorist attacks throughout Pakistain. According to the report, 29 attacks occurred in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 28 in Balochistan ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. The Institute emphasized that during the past two months, 23 military operations aimed at clearing Lions of Islam have been conducted across Pakistain, resulting in at least 88 Lions of Islam and 18 security personnel killed in these operations. The institute noted that most of these attacks were carried out by krazed killer groups such as the "Baloch Liberation Army," "Tehrik-e-Taliban ![]() students... Pakistain," "ISIS Khorasan," Lashkar-e-Islam ...a group of Islamic bandidos infesting Khyber Agency. " in the provinces of Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. It urged Islamabad to develop an effective "anti-terrorism" strategy and enhance border security with Afghanistan and Iran. Earlier, the Institute had stated that nearly a thousand military and non-combatants were killed in "terrorist" attacks across the country in 2023. These developments underscore the ongoing challenge of terrorism in Pakistain, highlighting the urgent need for comprehensive strategies to combat extremism and ensure national security. |

TTP declared 'Fitna al-Khawarij'; 'Khariji' to precede terrorists' names: govt |
2024-08-01 |
Ha! Good move. That oughta take care of the problem. [GEO.TV] In a move to shift its war on terror from a physical to an ideological front, the government on Wednesday categorised the outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban ![]() Pakistain (TTP) as "Fitna al-Khawarij." The government also made it mandatory for all institutions to use "Khariji" before the names of perpetrators of terrorist attacks on Pakistain, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Interior. The notification, which comes at a time when forces of Evil have intensified attacks on armed forces, intends to expose the real "ideology" of the banned holy warrior outfits, which it asserts have "distorted the image of Islam under the guise of religion." According to the notification, titles such as 'Mufti' and 'Hafiz' will not be used for individuals associated with terrorist organizations, while in all correspondence and documents, the term "Khariji" will be written and read before their names. The notification adds that the TTP forces of Evil have no genuine interest in the religion and such "corrupt elements" are referred to as "Fitna al-Khawarij." The ministry directed all government institutions to implement the order immediately and use the terms in their letters and documents. Subsequently, the interior ministry banned two more terrorist outfits, including the Hafiz Gul Bahadur ...a member of the Madda Khel clan of the Uthmanzai Waziris. Educated in a Deobandi madrassa located in Multan, he is affiliated with the Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) political party. Group (HGBG) and Majeed Brigade (MB). The interior ministry approved the recommendations to ban the holy warrior groups monitoring them for two years, according to the notification. Following the interior ministry's nod, the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) added the aforementioned groups to the proscribed organizations' list. Pakistain witnessed a surge in terror activities over the past few months, particularly in its Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan provinces. According to the Centre for Research and Security Studies (CRSS) Annual Security report, during the second quarter of 2024, the country suffered 380 violence-linked fatalities and 220 injuries. Pakistan urges Afghan Taliban to take 'robust action' against perpetrators of Bannu Cantt attack |
2024-07-18 |
[GEO.TV] Pakistain on Wednesday issued a "strong demarche" to Afghanistan following a deadly terrorist attack on Bannu Cantonment two days ago which resulted in the martyrdom of eight soldiers and injured many others. At least eight Pakistain Army soldiers had embraced martyrdom as security forces effectively thwarted a terrorist attack at Bannu Cantonment killing all 10 snuffies two days ago, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Tuesday. The snuffies attacked the Bannu Cantonment in the early hours of July 15 but their attempt to enter the facility was effectively thwarted by the security forces personnel, resultantly the snuffies rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the perimeter wall of the cantonment, the military’s media wing had said. In a statement today, the Foreign Office said the deputy head of mission of the embassy of Afghanistan in Islamabad was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today to deliver Pakistain’s strong demarche over the deadly terrorist attack on Bannu Cantonment. The FO said the terrorist attack was carried out by the Hafiz Gul Bahadur ...a member of the Madda Khel clan of the Uthmanzai Waziris. Islamabad urged Kabul to "fully investigate and take immediate, robust and effective action against the perpetrators of the Bannu attack and to prevent the recurrence of such attacks against Pakistain using the territory of Afghanistan". Pakistain reiterated its serious concerns over the presence of terror outfits inside Afghanistan that continue to threaten Pakistain's security. "Such incidents also go against the spirit of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries," it read. The FO spokesperson added that the "Bannu Cantonment attack is yet another reminder of the serious threat posed by terrorism to regional peace and security". |

Security forces kill seven terrorists trying to infiltrate Pak-Afghan border in North Waziristan |
2024-04-18 |
[GEO.TV] Security forces have killed seven Death Eaters trying to infiltrate the Pakistain-Afghanistan border ...also known as Pashtunistan, home of ignorance, poverty, and automatic weapons... in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s North Wazoo district, the military’s media wing said on Wednesday. In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said the security forces on April 16 (Tuesday) detected a movement of a group of seven "The infiltrators were surrounded, effectively engaged and after an intense fire exchange, all seven territories were sent to hell," it added. A large quantity of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from the killed terrorists, the statement added. The statement highlighted that Pakistain has consistently been asking the Taliban ![]() -led interim Afghan government to ensure effective border management on their side of the border. The military urged the interim rulers to fulfill their obligations and deny the use of Afghan soil by Death Eaters for perpetuating acts of terrorism against Pakistain. "Security forces of Pakistain are determined and remain committed to securing its borders and eliminating the menace of terrorism from the country," read the ISPR’s statement. Pakistain has time and again urged the Afghan authorities to take meaningful action against Death Eaters using the neighbouring country’s soil to launch attacks inside Pakistain. Last month, Pakistain carried out an intelligence-based anti-terrorist operation inside Afghanistan on, whose prime target was the Death Eaters belonging to Hafiz Gul Bahadur ...a member of the Madda Khel clan of the Uthmanzai Waziris. Educated in a Deobandi madrassa located in Multan, he is affiliated with the Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) political party. Group along with Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistain (TTP). Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group had earlier grabbed credit for the terrorist attack. "This group is responsible for multiple terrorist attacks inside Pakistain, resulting in death of hundreds of civilians and law-enforcement officials. The latest attack took place on 16 March 2024 at a security post in Mir Ali in North Waziristan and claimed the lives of seven Pak soldiers," said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on March 18 after over 13 hours after the operation. A day earlier, Pakistain Army’s top commanders were briefed on how terrorist groups operating from Afghanistan pose a threat to regional and global security, besides acting as proxies against Pakistain and its economic interests, especially the China-Pakistain Economic Corridor (CPEC). Islamabad not seeking armed conflict with Kabul, says defence minister
2024-03-22 | |
![]() Pakistain (TTP) targets inside Afghanistan, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that Islamabad does not want any "armed conflict" with Kabul. "Force is the last resort. We do not want to have an armed conflict with Afghanistan," Asif said while speaking to the Voice of America. The defence minister's remarks come as the neighbouring countries have experienced a spike in their already tense bilateral relations over increasing terrorist attacks by the TTP and other banned outfits, which are based in Afghanistan, inside Pak territory. On Monday, Pakistain carried out intelligence-based operations (IBOs) targeting TTP's Hafiz Gul Bahadur ...a member of the Madda Khel clan of the Uthmanzai Waziris. Group which is responsible for the March 16 attack in Mir Ali, North Wazoo and multiple other terrorist attacks in the country. Islamabad's action came following a deadly attack on Pak forces which resulted in the martyrdom of seven soldiers including a lieutenant colonel and captain. Pakistain has repeatedly called on the Afghan interim government to prevent its soil from being used against Pakistain by TTP and other holy warrior organizations — a claim vehemently denied by Kabul. 'NOT LET TTP START A WAR' Terming Pakistain's military action inside Afghanistan as a necessary message against increasing cross-border terrorism, the minister called on the Afghan interim regime to "control" the TTP and "not let them start a war" with Pakistain while living in Afghanistan. "We cannot continue like this," he said, adding that Islamabad will be forced to retaliate if the TTP continues its attacks. Elaborating on the prospects of bilateral trade and prospects of providing an economic corridor to Kabul, owing to the country being landlocked, Asif questioned why Islamabad should entertain such a possibility if the neighbouring country treats it "like an enemy". As reported by the VOA, around 5,000 to 6,000 TTP fighters reside in Afghanistan after being driven out of Pak territory owing to the military's wide-scale anti-terror operation in erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) along the border with Afghanistan. Furthermore, United Nations ...boodling on the grand scale... ' assessments also confirm TTP's presence in Afghanistan, the publication added. Expressing his views on TTP's presence inside Afghanistan, the defence minister said that the holy warrior group was "being allowed" to operate as part of the interim Afghan government's bid to prevent its fighters from joining IS-Khorasan Province (ISKP) — a rival group which has been engaged in armed conflict with the Afghan regime.

Pakistan hits TTP hideouts in border regions inside Afghanistan amid spike in terror attacks |
2024-03-19 |
[GEO.TV] Pak forces this morning carried out intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in the border regions inside Afghanistan against snuffies launching attacks in Pakistain from Afghan soil, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said on Monday. The target of today’s operation was the snuffies belonging to Hafiz Gul Bahadur ...a member of the Madda Khel clan of the Uthmanzai Waziris. Group, which along with the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban ![]() Pakistain (TTP), is responsible for the March 16 attack in Mir Ali, North Wazoo and multiple other terrorist attacks in the country, resulting in deaths of hundreds of civilians and law enforcement officials. On Saturday, at least seven Pakistain Army soldiers — including a lieutenant colonel and captain — embraced martyrdom after gallantly fighting with snuffies as they attacked a security forces' post in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP). The Foreign Office (FO) issued a detailed statement on the matter, saying that Pakistain, for the past two years, has repeatedly conveyed its serious concerns to the interim Afghan Government over the presence of terror outfits including TTP inside Afghanistan. It said that these snuffies pose a grave threat to Pakistain’s security and have consistently used Afghan territory to launch terror attacks inside Pak territory. Pakistain accords prime importance to the illusory sovereignty and territorial integrity of Afghanistan. It has, therefore, always prioritised dialogue and cooperation to confront the terrorist threat. "We have repeatedly urged the Afghan authorities to take concrete and effective action to ensure that the Afghan soil is not used as a staging ground for terrorism against Pakistain. We have also called on them to deny safe havens to TTP and to hand over its leadership to Pakistain," the FO said. The statement added that Pakistain has great respect for the people of Afghanistan; however, certain elements among those in power in Afghanistan are actively patronising TTP and using them as a proxy against Pakistain.
