Pakistain (TTP) in two separate operations in the Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa provinces. According to the Express Tribune, the first operation took place in a mountainous region of Punjab, where the provincial police, in collaboration with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), raided TTP hideouts.

Punjab police officials reported that, based on intelligence, between 20 and 30 ~~bandidos~~ Lions of Islam were present in the area, planning terrorist attacks against government installations and civilians. In this operation, 10 TTP fighters were killed. This significant blow to the murderous Moslem group came after intelligence confirmed their active plotting in the region.

The second operation occurred in the Mir Ali area of North Wazoo in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, where six more TTP ~~bandidos~~ Lions of Islam were killed during festivities with Pak security forces. Pakistain’s military reported that substantial amounts of weapons, ammunition, and explosives were discovered and seized from the murderous Moslems’ hideouts.

Four terrorists eliminated in separate KP operations: ISPR

[GEO.TV] Four faceless myrmidons were bumped off by the security forces in two separate operations in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the Inter-Serivces Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.

According to a statement issued by the military's media wing, an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted in North Wazoo

Wazoo District where, ''after an intense exchange of fire, two khwarij including Kharji Insaf Ullah, were [killed].''

In another operation in Khyber District, the ISPR said, ''own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location and resultantly two khwarij were killed, while three got injured.''

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from killed terrorists, who according to the military's media wing remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) as well as the innocent civilians.

Four cops among six martyred in North Waziristan 'suicide blast'

[GEO.TV] At least six people including four cops were martyred and several others were injured in a "suicide bombing" in North Waziristan, police said on Saturday.

The law enforcers said that the attack targeted a police post in Eidak area of Mir Ali. Four of the slain individuals were police personnel, they added.

The injured were shifted to hospital after a rescue operation was launched. Meanwhile, the area was cordoned off by the security forces.

Pakistan has experienced a spike in terrorism since the Taliban returned to power in Afghanistan in 2021. Most terror incidents are reported in provinces bordering the neighbouring country — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

Around a dozen militants were eliminated during anti-terrorism operations by the security forces in KP's District North Waziristan this month, as the military strives to deal with the menace of terrorism in the country.

A report published by the Centre for Research and Security Studies (CRSS) earlier this month stated that the third quarter of 2024 saw a sharp increase in fatalities of terrorist violence and counter-terrorism campaigns with a 90% surge in violence in the country.

The total fatalities from three quarters of this year surpassed the total fatalities recorded for the entire 2023, with 722 deaths including civilians, security personnel, and outlaws.

Armed clash between two groups leaves five dead in Karachi

According to the details, the armed clash took place between Fahad Bugti group and Ali Haider Bugti group in DHA’s Khayaban-e-Nishat. The dear departed and the injured were relatives of slain Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti.

Three people from one group and two from the other group were killed in the firing, the police said. All the dear departed and the injured were cousins.

After being informed police and rescue officials rushed to the scene of the crime and shifted the bodies and the injured to the Civil Hospital.

The dear departed were identified as Mir Esa Bugti, Ali, Fahad, Naseebullah and Mir Mesum Bugti. While Mir Ali Haider Bugti and Qaim Ali sustained bullet injuries, said the hospital administration.

Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar took notice of the armed clash and sought a detailed report from the Additional IGP Karachi.

Talking to journalists, the home minister said that the incident, according to initial investigations, was a result of a personal enmity, adding that the dear departed and the injured belonged to same tribe.

"Both groups belong to the family of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti," he added.

Lanjar said that no one is above the law, adding that all necessary measures will be taken to ensure the writ of law.

Security forces kill seven terrorists trying to infiltrate Pak-Afghan border in North Waziristan

"The infiltrators were surrounded, effectively engaged and after an intense fire exchange, all seven territories were sent to hell," it added.

A large quantity of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from the killed terrorists, the statement added.

Pakistain (TTP) targets inside Afghanistan, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that Islamabad does not want any "armed conflict" with Kabul.

"Force is the last resort. We do not want to have an armed conflict with Afghanistan," Asif said while speaking to the Voice of America.

The defence minister's remarks come as the neighbouring countries have experienced a spike in their already tense bilateral relations over increasing terrorist attacks by the TTP and other banned outfits, which are based in Afghanistan, inside Pak territory.

Islamabad's action came following a deadly attack on Pak forces which resulted in the martyrdom of seven soldiers including a lieutenant colonel and captain.

Pakistain has repeatedly called on the Afghan interim government to prevent its soil from being used against Pakistain by TTP and other holy warrior organizations — a claim vehemently denied by Kabul.

'NOT LET TTP START A WAR'
Terming Pakistain's military action inside Afghanistan as a necessary message against increasing cross-border terrorism, the minister called on the Afghan interim regime to "control" the TTP and "not let them start a war" with Pakistain while living in Afghanistan.

"We cannot continue like this," he said, adding that Islamabad will be forced to retaliate if the TTP continues its attacks.

Elaborating on the prospects of bilateral trade and prospects of providing an economic corridor to Kabul, owing to the country being landlocked, Asif questioned why Islamabad should entertain such a possibility if the neighbouring country treats it "like an enemy".

As reported by the VOA, around 5,000 to 6,000 TTP fighters reside in Afghanistan after being driven out of Pak territory owing to the military's wide-scale anti-terror operation in erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) along the border with Afghanistan.

Two terrorists killed, as many injured in North Waziristan IBO

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the turbans were neutralised in an intense exchange of fire during the IBO conducted on the night between March 19 and March 20.

"Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area," the military’s media wing stated.

It said that sanitisation operation was being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area as the security forces of Pakistain are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism from the country.

Earlier today, a terrorist bid was foiled when some turbans tried to attack and enter the Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) complex in the port city.

A group of at least eight button men stormed the GPA complex but the security forces acted swiftly and foiled the attempt, killing all the bad boys, who belonged to outlawed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Geo News reported citing sources.

Today’s attack follows a fierce terrorist attack on a security forces' check post in KP’s Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, last week, which saw seven Pakistain Army soldiers — including a lieutenant colonel and captain — embracing martyrdom.

On Monday, Pak forces carried out intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in the border regions inside Afghanistan against turbans launching attacks in Pakistain from Afghan soil.

In the light of recent wave of terrorism in Pakistain, ISPR has said that the continuous use of Afghan soil is behind the "growing terrorism in Pakistain".

Eight terrorists 'sent to hell' as security forces foil attack on Gwadar Port Authority colony

[GEO.TV] After a group of button men stormed the Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) colony on Wednesday, security forces acted swiftly and foiled the fierce attack, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

"Own troops employed for security responded immediately and effectively engaged the terrorists, and in ensuing fire exchange, all eight ~~bandidos~~ forces of Evil were sent to hell," the military's media wing said.

A large quantity of arms, ammunition and explosives was also recovered from the killed terrorists.

The ISPR said two brave soldiers — Sepoy Bahar Khan (age 35 years, resident of district DG Khan) and Sepoy Imran Ali (age 28 years, resident of district Khairpur) — having fought gallantly, sacrificed their lives and embraced Shahadat during the exchange of fire.

Makran Division commissioner confirmed the incident and the number of slain terrorists.

Reacting to the development, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah condemned the attack on the GPA complex, saying: "Elimination of the ~~bandidos~~ forces of Evil is final and the determination of our military men is strong."

Pakistain (TTP), is responsible for the March 16 attack in Mir Ali, North Wazoo and multiple other terrorist attacks in the country, resulting in deaths of hundreds of civilians and law enforcement officials.

On Saturday, at least seven Pakistain Army soldiers — including a lieutenant colonel and captain — embraced martyrdom after gallantly fighting with snuffies as they attacked a security forces' post in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

The Foreign Office (FO) issued a detailed statement on the matter, saying that Pakistain, for the past two years, has repeatedly conveyed its serious concerns to the interim Afghan Government over the presence of terror outfits including TTP inside Afghanistan.

It said that these snuffies pose a grave threat to Pakistain’s security and have consistently used Afghan territory to launch terror attacks inside Pak territory.

Pakistain accords prime importance to the illusory sovereignty and territorial integrity of Afghanistan. It has, therefore, always prioritised dialogue and cooperation to confront the terrorist threat.

"We have repeatedly urged the Afghan authorities to take concrete and effective action to ensure that the Afghan soil is not used as a staging ground for terrorism against Pakistain. We have also called on them to deny safe havens to TTP and to hand over its leadership to Pakistain," the FO said.

The statement added that Pakistain has great respect for the people of Afghanistan; however, certain elements among those in power in Afghanistan are actively patronising TTP and using them as a proxy against Pakistain.

"Such an approach against a brotherly country, which stood with the people of Afghanistan through thick and thin, manifests shortsightedness. It ignores the support extended by Pakistain to the people of Afghanistan over the last several decades.

"We urge these elements in power to rethink the policy of siding with Khwarij snuffies shedding the blood of innocent Paks and to make a clear choice to stand with the people of Pakistain," it added.

The FO further stated that terrorist groups like TTP are a collective threat to regional peace and security.

"We fully realise the challenge Afghan authorities face in combating the threat posed by the TTP. Pakistain would therefore continue to work towards finding joint solutions in countering terrorism and to prevent any terrorist organization from sabotaging bilateral relations with Afghanistan," the statement concluded.

7 Pak Army personnel including 2 officers martyred in North Waziristan terror attack

According to the military's media wing, a group of six holy warriors attacked the post in the early hours today with the Pak troops foiling their initial attempt of intrusion before they rammed an explosive laden vehicle into the post, followed by multiple suicide kaboom attacks, which led to collapse of portion of a building, resulting into the martyrdom of the brave sons of the soil.

"During the conduct of ensuing clearance operation, own troops led by Lieutenant Colonel Kashif, effectively engaged and sent to hell all six terrorists," the statement read.

Four dead, three wounded in firing on two vehicles in KP's Kurram

[GEO.TV] At least four people, including two security personnel, were martyred and three others maimed in a firing on a passenger bus and a car in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's Kurram District, Geo News reported Sunday.

According to District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Imran, armed assailants opened fire on the bus and car in the Sadda area which resulted in the deaths of four people.

The dead included two security personnel, a driver and a woman, said DPO Imran, adding that the police have launched a manhunt to arrest the attackers while security has been beefed up in the area.

The forces carried out a sanitisation operation of the area to neutralise any other terrorists, the military's media wing said.
