US says it wants Gaza war to end, but denies threatening Israel if it doesn’t comply |
2025-05-21 |
[IsraelTimes] US, Palestinian officials quash speculation that aid to Gaza stemmed from US deal with Hamas; Huckabee says report that Trump will ‘abandon’ Israel if war continues is ‘nonsense’ The White House stressed Monday that US President Donald Trump ...His ancestors didn't own any slaves... wants the war in Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppressionand disproportionate response... to end, as American officials denied reports that Washington was threatening to "abandon" Israel if it didn’t follow suit. Trump "has made it very clear he wants to see this conflict in the region end," White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in response to a question during a briefing about whether Washington supports Netanyahu’s comments from earlier in the day that Israel will take over all of Gaza as it massively expands its military campaign in the Strip. "The president is moving as quickly as he possibly can and working overtime to end these conflicts in both Israel and Gaza and also the Russia-Ukraine war," Leavitt added. "The president made it very clear to Hamas ![]() that he wanted to see all hostages released." Netanyahu does appear to be responding to the mounting US desire to end the war, saying Monday that he’d be willing to end the conflict "if the remaining hostages are released, Hamas lays down its arms, its murderous leaders are exiled and Gaza is demilitarized." But Hamas has said it will only release the hostages if Israel fully withdraws from Gaza — something Netanyahu has said won’t happen, insisting that the IDF will control the Strip for the foreseeable future. Separately Monday, The Washington Post published a report citing an an unnamed source, who claimed the Trump administration would abandon Israel if it kept the war going in Gaza. US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee dismissed the claim, telling the Ynet news site, "Their reporting is nonsense. They need to listen to what the President says — not what some uninformed ’source’ pretends to know." A senior US official chimed in, telling The Times of Israel that while there may be disagreements between the Trump administration and Israel, "the idea that we would abandon Israel is preposterous." The official also denied reports in American and Israeli press that Israel’s agreement to allow a small amount of aid into Gaza on Monday after a 78-day blockade was part of a secret deal with Hamas that saw the terror group release American-Israeli hostage Edan Alexander last week. "This was a goodwill gesture. The release was unconditional," the US official told The Times of Israel. Hamas did hope that the move would lead to the US coaxing Israel to end the war and allow aid into Gaza, but that was not a condition of his release, according to the Paleostinian official. Also on Monday, the Axios news site reported that US Vice President JD Vance considered traveling to Israel this week but ultimately decided against it in order to avoid signaling Washington’s approval of Israel’s expanding military operation in Gaza. Vance later insisted, though, that the decision not to make the trip had to do with logistics, not politics. |

Trump disapproves of Netanyahu’s Gaza strategy, thinks major offensive will be wasted effort — NBC report |
2025-05-12 |
It’s NBC, so possibly true, possibly not. Or possibly true but it doesn’t matter because that’s their process. [IsraelTimes] US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are said to be increasingly at odds with one another over their contrasting visions for the Middle East, and in particular for the Gaza Strip.Citing unnamed US officials, NBC reports that Trump is opposed to Netanyahu’s plans for a new, significantly expanded operation in the Gaza Strip, and has privately called it a wasted effort that will interfere with his vision to rebuild the enclave. Netanyahu, meanwhile, is said to be growing increasingly frustrated with the US approach to Iran amid the nuclear talks and after Washington struck a deal with the Houthis, agreeing to end its intensive bombing campaign in return for an end to the Iran-backed group’s maritime attacks. Speaking to NBC, one US official says Israel is “worried about any deal” that the US could sign with Iran to thwart its nuclear ambitions. To that end, two US officials say Netanyahu has privately dismissed the negotiations as a waste of time, arguing that even if a deal is forged, Tehran will inevitably break it. Israel would rather take action and strike Iran’s nuclear facilities, the report says, and believes that the opportunity to do so is shrinking more the longer talks continue. Israeli and US officials have vehemently denied the reported tensions between Trump and Netanyahu, with US Ambassador Mike Huckabee calling the reports “reckless and irresponsible.” Netanyahu is also said to have denied the reports of a growing rift between him and Trump, in leaked remarks from a closed meeting of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee earlier today. “There are no gaps between us and the Americans,” Netanyahu is quoted as saying by Channel 12 news pundit Amit Segel. He adds that Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer is in the US “every few days,” and that reports about disagreements between the prime minister and his American counterpart over Iran or the Houthis “is a campaign” being spread “for political reasons.” The premier is quoted as saying that Israel “didn’t ask for permission to attack the Houthis, and we’re not asking for permission for our war plans in Gaza. The Americans volunteered to get involved with the Houthis and said they would leave when it ‘stops.’” |

‘He’s got your back’: Huckabee says Trump’s decision to skip Israel on Mideast visit isn’t a snub
2025-05-11 | |
[IsraelTimes] US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee says Israelis should not feel snubbed by US President Donald Trump’s decision to skip Israel in his upcoming visit to the Middle East, which will include stops in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. “His first trip is about economic opportunity. That’s where his focus is,” Huckabee says in an interview with Hebrew news network Channel 12. “What he’s doing is not because he’s snubbing Israel. There are 200 nations in the world, almost, so there are a lot of them he hasn’t gone to yet, a lot of them he isn’t going to right away — he’s spent more time with the prime minister of Israel than he has with any other world leader. I think that says a lot.” “I would just say to people, ‘relax, calm down, Donald Trump loves you, there’s no doubt about that, he’s got your back,'” says the ambassador. “He is the same Donald Trump that, for four years as president, did more for Israel than any other American president.” The man clearly reads the Israeli news sites. Turning to the ongoing nuclear talks between the US and Iran, Huckabee is asked whether Washington would allow Israel to carry out independent military action against Iran if a deal is signed, should it still deem it to be a threat. He answers that the US believes “Israel has the right to do what it has to do,” and that Trump knows “nobody can tell Israel what to do. He says, however, that the White House would definitely have “recommendations” in this regard. Huckabee also defends Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s relationship with Trump, after recent reports suggested that their relationship may have soured. He says that the interviewer’s suggestion that Trump has thrown Netanyahu “under the bus” is a “very unfair characteristic.” “Prime Minister Netanyahu has spent more time with President Trump than I have in the past couple of months, and it’s a warm and personal, cordial relationship,” says Huckabee.

UAE rejects Israeli request to bankroll Gaza aid initiative, arguing it fails to address crisis — official |
2025-05-10 |
[IsraelTimes] The United Arab Emirates has rejected an Israeli request to bankroll a new initiative to resume the distribution of aid into Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppressionand disproportionate response... after an over two-month embargo, a bigwig familiar with the matter tells The Times of Israel. The rejection marks a major blow to the initiative, which hasn’t even fully gotten off the ground, as Israel hoped that Emirati support would help convince other countries and international organizations to follow suit. Israeli officials have been deeply involved in the recent establishment of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which they want to manage the resumption of aid into Gaza in a manner that prevents its diversion from Hamas ![]() But a GHF memo provided to potential donors states that the initiative will only feed about 60% of Gaza’s population in an unspecified initial phase. The UN and international organizations briefed on the plan issued a statement earlier this week saying they won’t cooperate with the initiative, as it fails to sufficiently address the humanitarian crisis and "weaponizes" aid. Maj. Gen. Ghassan Alian, who heads the Coordinator for Government Activities in the Territories, and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer’s aid Moran Stav visited the UAE yesterday to meet with Emirati Minister for International Cooperation Reem Al Hashimy, hoping to convince Abu Dhabi to back the plan, the bigwig says, confirming reporting in the Walla news site. Hashimy told the Israeli officials that the UAE would not be able to provide such financial support because the GHF initiative — as it currently stands — does not properly address the humanitarian crisis, the official says. The official stresses that Abu Dhabi’s position could change if the initiative is adapted to properly meet the moment. A Western diplomat told The Times of Israel earlier this week that GHF was planning to go public with the roll-out of its new initiative this week, but the lack of international support appears to be delaying the announcement. Organizers sufficed with a presser held earlier today by US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee where he said that the effort was already underway, but he offered minimal details how the initiative would work, while calling on the international community to back the program. Israeli Air Force said to hold drill simulating another Iranian missile attack |
2025-04-22 |
[IsraelTimes] Days after US-Iran nuclear talks, Trump reports ‘good meetings’; Netanyahu said set to speak with him by phone The Israeli Air Force conducted drills on Monday simulating another Iranian missile attack on Israeli airbases, in light of rising tensions over the Islamic Theocratic Republic’s nuclear program, the Kan public broadcaster reported IAF bases were targeted in previous Iranian strikes in April and October 2024. The report of the exercise came as the US and Iran ![]() spontaneouslytaking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militiasto extend the regime's influence. The word Iranis a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGCis the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA).The term Supreme Guideis a the modern version form of either Duceor Führeror maybe both. They hate continue to hold talks on the latter’s nuclear program, with the drills said to be aimed at boosting readiness in case the talks collapse. Israeli officials were reportedly caught off guard by a New York Times ![]() ...which still proudly claims Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... report last week revealing a halted Israeli-American plan to strike Iran, allegedly blocked by US President Donald Trump ...Never got invited to a P.Diddy party... In Jerusalem, the leak has been interpreted as a US pressure tactic to push Tehran toward a nuclear deal. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was expected to speak with Trump by phone on Monday, the Walla news site reported. The two leaders would discuss the currently stuck Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It would be the first call between the two men since the premier visited the White House two weeks ago. In Israel, newly appointed US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee — upon delivering his credentials to President Isaac Herzog — stressed that Iran wants to destroy both Israel and the US. "It has always been their desire that Israel would be the opening act and then it would be America’s turn to face destruction," he said. "Or to put in another simple way, Israel is the appetizer and the United States is the entrée." Agreeing with Huckabee, Herzog emphasized that Tehran "continues to pursue its radical vision of regional dominance and destabilization — on its own and via its proxies — whilst pursuing nuclear arms and openly calling for the destruction of Israel." |

US ambassador Mike Huckabee calls on Hamas to accept proposed ceasefire
2025-04-22 | |
[GEO.TV] The new US ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, has called on Hamas to accept a proposed ceasefire to release captives in exchange for humanitarian aid to flow into the enclave, which Israel has blocked since early March. ''When that happens and hostages are released, which is an urgent matter for all of us, then we hope that the humanitarian aid will flow and flow freely, knowing it will be done without Hamas being able to confiscate and abuse their own people,'' Huckabee said in a video statement on X.

US Senate confirms Huckabee as next Israel envoy, voting largely along party lines |
2025-04-10 |
[IsraelTimes] The US Senate voted almost entirely along party lines on Wednesday to confirm the nomination of former Arkansas governorMike Huckabee to be Washington’s ambassador to Israel. Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania — an ardent supporter of Israel and virtually the only Democratic ally of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — was the lone lawmaker to break with his party by joining Republicans in backing Huckabee’s nomination. The final vote tally was 53 to 46 in favor of Huckabee, a passionate evangelical supporter of Israel and its West Bank settlement movement.

Israeli settler leaders say they will attend Trump inauguration after receiving invite |
2025-01-12 |
[IsraelTimes] The Yesha settlement council says it will send an official delegation to the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump in Washington next week after receiving an invitation, as it seeks to hit the ground running with the potentially settlement-friendly leader. The umbrella group representing Israel’s more than 120 West Bank settlements makes the announcement on Facebook, where it also asks supporters to sign a Hebrew-language letter it says it intends to deliver to the administration thanking Trump for “redeeming” Jerusalem and recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. According to Israel National News, the delegation will include Binyamin Regional Council head Israel Gantz, who heads Yesha; Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan, and Yesha foreign affairs chief Eliana Passentin, a native Californian, among others. “The invitation we received from the government is an expression of the values Israel and the settlement movement share with the US as a light of Biblical values,” Gantz says in a statement carried by the outlet, which has close ties to the settler movement Yesha has long administered its own foreign policy wing independent of the Israeli government, though they often work in concert. The group has close ties with likely incoming US ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. In 2017, the group sent a lower-level delegation to Trump’s first inauguration, led by former Efrat mayor Oded Revivi, who was the group’s foreign envoy. At the time, he told the Associated Press that the group had been invited by a member of Trump’s “first circle” of advisers, but refused to name the person. |

Joe must say NO to White House pardon party for Anthony Fauci, Mark Milley, Adam Schiff |
2024-12-07 |
[NYPOST] Not content with one noxious pardon for son Hunter, President Biden is (reportedly) considering many, many others. And the rumored list of the soon-to-be-legally-blameless is a doozy. The newest add? Gen. Mark Milley, former Joint Chiefs of Staff chair. Milley is a woke extremist who pushed DEI within the armed forces. Far worse, he sidled up to high generals in China's army days before the 2020 election and promised them ''everything is going to be OK,'' and did so again after the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, telling them that if we were going to attack, he'd let them know. It wasn't open treason, but sure flirted with it — and absolutely put his own ego above his sworn duty. Milley's in some deeply dishonorable company. Chief among them is Dr. Anthony Fauci, who (1) repeatedly obfuscated before Congress about his role in funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan that may have sparked the pandemic, and (2) ruthlessly used his power behind the scenes to suppress any discussion of the lab-leak theory, now by far the most likely explanation for COVID's origin. Gee, we thought Fauci was a saint. Why would he need a pre-emptive pardon that frees him from criminal responsibility for bad actions? Don't forget Sen.-elect Adam Schiff ![]() , the Russiagate liar who used the utterly fake Steele dossier to power his bogus, endless crusade against President Donald Trump ...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party... for nonexistent collusion. Fani Willis ordered to hand over communications with Jack Smith, J6 Committee to Judicial Watch
2024-12-04 | |
The court granted the default judgment motion brought forth by Judicial Watch, which stated that Willis had been served with the lawsuit in March 2024, but by May when Judicial Watch asked the court to declare default judgment, Willis had still "not filed an answer" despite it being due "30 days after service." The order centers around the deadline in which Willis had to respond, with Willis being served on March 11 and a return of service being filed two days later. However, the latter document did not appear on the court’s electronic docket. In April the court, "believing that Defendant had not yet been served," filed an order directing Judicial Watch to serve the defendant, who refiled the return that showed Willis had been served on March 11. Willis claimed that "she relied on the Court’s 15 April 2024 Order directing Plaintiff to serve her and so did not immediately file an answer because of her 'understanding that service had not been perfected,’" and that the court’s April 15 filing required the plaintiffs to serve her for a second time, the plaintiffs had not yet done so, and that she was therefore not required to respond yet. "The Court finds Defendant is in default and has been since 11 April 2024. As already mentioned, it is undisputed that Defendant was served on 11 March 2024 and that Plaintiff filed the return of service on 13 March 2024. While it is true that that return did not immediately appear on the Court’s electronic docket, this delay does not change the fact that Plaintiff filed it -- and that it was stamped as received by the Clerk -- on 13 March 2024. Because the return was filed within five days of service, Defendant was required to answer within thirty days of service, which would have been 10 April 2024," the court order stated. "Lest any of this appear unfair to Defendant -- who arguably was without notice that Plaintiff had filed the return of service on 13 March 2024 until 15 April 2024 when Plaintiff again filed it and the Clerk caused the original 13 March filing to appear in the docket -- Defendant could have opened her default as a matter of right on 15 April 2024 or soon thereafter, as she remained well within the fifteen-day grace period established by O.C.G.A. § 9-11-55(a). Moreover, even had she delayed and filed her motion to open default outside the fifteen-day statutory grace period, Defendant would have had a compelling case for opening her default on any of the three statutory grounds." The order added, "But Defendant did none of that: she never moved to open default on any basis (not even during the period when she could have opened default as a matter of right), she never paid costs, and she never offered up a meritorious defense," and said that the plaintiffs are entitled to default judgment "as if every item and paragraph of the complaint were supported by proper and sufficient evidence Related: Fulton County: 2024-11-21 Cop who fatally shot J6 protestor has lengthy disciplinary record including gun incidents Fulton County: 2024-11-17 Migrant Who Had AR-15 During Alleged Assault on Officers is Back on Street Fulton County: 2024-11-08 Colorado postal carrier and a friend accused of forging stolen mail ballots to test voting security Related: Fani Willis 11/07/2024 Nolte: Corrupt Special Counsel Jack Smith to Exit DOJ, Drop Cases Fani Willis 11/06/2024 Turley: Donald Trump just won the greatest jury verdict in American history Fani Willis 11/03/2024 Big Tech knew Biden laptop suppression would influence 2020 election, wanted Big Guy's favor: report Related: Jack Smith 12/02/2024 Trump suggests he will free Jan 6 rioters in response to Biden's Hunter pardon: 'Let them all out' Jack Smith 11/17/2024 Left-Wing Donors Wary As They Fear Funding Won't Buy the 'Resistance' It Used to in a New Era of Trump Jack Smith 11/13/2024 Trump picks Mike Huckabee as ambassador to Israel, John Ratcliffe to head CIA, Steve Witkoff special envoy to MidEast, Pete Hegseth to head DoD, Elon and Vivek on gov’t efficiency Related: Judicial Watch: 2024-11-03 Big Tech knew Biden laptop suppression would influence 2020 election, wanted Big Guy's favor: report Judicial Watch: 2024-11-03 Tucker Carlson's brutal takedown of NYT reporter requesting comment about his 'Proud Boys tie', part of NYT/Media Matters/WashPost/CCDH effort to silence Dem Party’s conservative critics Judicial Watch: 2024-08-09 Nobel laureate Yunus takes charge of Bangladesh interim govt

The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... have been deeply disappointed by his cabinet picks, they tell Rooters. "Trump won because of us and we’re not happy with his Secretary of State pick and others," says Rabiul Chowdhury, a Philadelphia investor who chaired the Abandon Harris campaign in Pennsylvania and co-founded Moslems for Trump. Trump picked Republican senator Marco Rubio ...The diminutive 13-year-old Republican U.S. Senator from Florida... , a staunch supporter of Israel for Secretary of State. Rubio said earlier this year he would not call for a ceasefire in Gaza, and that he believed Israel should destroy "every element" of Hamas ![]() . "These people are vicious animals," he adds. Trump also nominated Mike Huckabee, a former Arkansas governor and staunch pro-Israel conservative who backs Israeli occupation of the West Bank and has called a two-state solution "unworkable," as the next ambassador to Israel. He has picked Republican Representative Elise Stefanik, who called the UN a "cesspool of antisemitism" for its condemnation of deaths in Gaza, to serve as US ambassador to the United Nations ...where theory meets practice and practice loses... Rexhinaldo Nazarko, executive director of the American Moslem Engagement and Empowerment Network (AMEEN), says Moslem voters had hoped Trump would choose cabinet officials who work toward peace, and there was no sign of that. "We are very disappointed," he said. "It seems like this administration has been packed entirely with neoconservatives and extremely pro-Israel, pro-war people, which is a failure on the side of President Trump, to the pro-peace and anti-war movement." Nazarko says the community would continue pressing to make its voices heard after rallying votes to help Trump win. "At least we’re on the map." Rola Makki, the Lebanese American, Moslem vice chair for outreach of the Michigan Republican Party, shrugs off the criticism. "I don’t think everyone’s going to be happy with every appointment Trump makes, but the outcome is what matters," she says. "I do know that Trump wants peace, and what people need to realize is that there’s 50,000 dead Paleostinians and 3,000 dead Lebanese, and that’s happened during the current administration." |
